The next morning...
Rain woke up, he saw sunlight coming through the window. He then checked on Abigail. She was still asleep, snoring in peace. He laid his hand on her shoulder as she then slowly fell on her back. Rain then laid his hand on Abigail's chest as she woke up and opened her eyes.
"Morning Abi." Rain said to her.
"Morning Rain." Abigail replied as she yawned.
"We still have time left until we need to head out." Rain said.
"C-Can we just lay here?" Abigail said.
"Hm?" Rain wasn't sure what Abigail meant.
"It has been so long since we had spent time like this. Laying in a bed at sunrise. The last time we had the chance to do it was back in our old home." Abigail said.
"Sure, we can. I love spending time with you. Doesn't matter where." Rain responded.Abigail then snuggled herself to Rain.
"I think it is obvious for you by now. But... I love you Rain. And. I'd love to return to our old relationship. Only if you want that as well that is." Abigail would say as she rolled around to look at Rain.
"I would want nothing more than that Abi." Rain said with tears in his eyes.
"Why are you crying?" Abigail would ask.
"I have hoped for this since I heard you survived. You could only imagine how happy I am right now." Rain replied.Abigail would snuggle herself closer to Rain and they would lay together in the bed for another few minutes holding each other.
One hour later...
Rain let go of Abigail which had fallen asleep in his arms. He slowly stood up and walked over to the chest. He grabbed his items as he heard a slight knock on the door. He walked over and opened it.
"Hey Rain, I wanted to ask where you had been? You two missed breakfast." Stella said.
"Oh, Abigail and I wanted to spend some more time together." Rain said.
"Mhmmmmmm." *Stella said smiling.*
"Don't worry about it we saved stuff for you two to eat." *Stella added as she walked off.*
"Come downstairs once you two are ready." *She added.*As Rain closed the door Abigail woke up again. She then got out of bed.
"Let's get ready." *Rain said as he looked over to her.*
"Yes sure." *Abigail said as she stretched herself.*Abigail would get up as Rain threw Ruby Thorn over to her. She caught the spear and placed it on her back. After that, she walked over to the chest and grabbed her Items out of it as well. As Rain wanted to open the door she said.
"Wait." Abigail said.
"Hm?" Rain turned and looked at her.
"What did you feel?" Abigail asked.
"What do you mean?" *Rain replied.*
"What did you feel as I charged at you, back in the Nether." Abigail asked.
"I..." Rain was thinking for a moment, then took a deep breath and said. "I remembered the time with you. I struggled to fight you. A part of me wanted to give up. But as we fought1 I realized, the girl I knew was no longer in control. So I choose to kill you. Or at least try."
"Why did you jump into the spear?" *Abigail then asked.*
"I couldn't get a hit on you. You were too fast with every move. I realized I couldn't defeat you if I didn't do it and a part of me already wanted to die. So I jumped into your spear. Before I stabbed you I had one last battle with myself. On whether I should kill you or not. As I got back from my mind the sword already pierced through your body. As we fell on the ground I looked at you as your eyes closed and thought that you could now rest. And I wanted to die there too. But the longer I waited I just stayed alive. I wanted to die so badly. I was laying next to you for hours. But I kept surviving. So I got up with all my strength and pulled out Ruby Thorn. But the hardest part was that I had to leave you behind." Rain said with tears in his eyes once, recalling these memories was incredibly painful.
"Rain..." Abigail said as she ran at him. The two hugged again.
"Sorry for asking you." She added as she realized how painful this actually was for Rain.
"It's fine, you are here with me. And that's all that matters now."Rain said as he opened the door and the two walked downstairs to meet the others.
"Ah there you two are. Seems like you enjoyed the bed a bit to much huh." Kane said.
"Yea you know if you slept on hard logs and grass for months even a simple bed can keep you tied to it for hours." Rain joked.
"Ahahah you guys ready to head out?" Kane asked.
"Yes, let's go." Abigail said.
"Hold on a second you two didn't even have time to eat." Stella said as she gave both of them appeals and bread together with other food.(Ok so this one became kind of a total Ragail Part which I didn't plan but the whole morning part just became longer and longer so yea, hope you enjoyed it.)
