As the guards escorted Abigail out of the housing area and into the Castle prison. She was placed in a small room with a table and two chairs. Sunlight barely made it in the room. The walls were made out of cobblestone, occasionally water could be heard dropping on the floor form time to time. She was placed onto one of the chairs. A cup of water was placed next to her. After that, the guards left the room and locked the cell.
"Wait here." One of the guards said as he left the cell.
Abigail waited patiently, walking through the room and taking a sip of water from time to time. 30 minutes later Ser Patrick entered the room. He was unarmed but in his usual armor.
"Sit back down, Nether Princess." He said as he seated himself.
Abigail did as Patrick requested and took a seat
"So what do you want from me?" Abigail said.
"My name is Ser Patrick, Grandmaster of the Frostborn. First of all, I would like to know what you planned on doing to Rain back in his room." Patrick asked her as he placed down writing material on the table.
"Absolutely nothing. I just wanted to talk with him." She replied.
"Well if that isn't cute. The Nether Princess who killed so many of my people without any second thoughts suddenly has a change of heart. You need a more convincing story than this." Patrick said in disbelief.
"I am telling you the truth, I had no ill intention against him." Abigail said in defense.
"Let's move to a far more important topic, Rain reported to me that he killed you during his fight. How dose it come that you now sit here in-front of me?" Patrick asked.
"I-I don't know. Naeus one of my former Advisors tried to destroy me after Rain defeated me in order to get the Nether Star from me. As I was falling into a pool of lava I somehow regained Consciousness. It was like the Nether Star warned me. I knew what I had to do and surrendered the Star after I made an impact with the Lava..." Abigail stopped talking.
"Alri-" Patrick tried to say before being interrupted by Abigail
"After such a long time, I felt... scared. I felt like I was afraid of death. I-I managed to escape the lava river and got out. My injuries didn't exactly make it easy." she'd chuckle "I guess after all I did to others the pain I felt was kind of deserved. I felt my emotions coming back, things the Nether Star suppressed. I felt love, I remembered Rain, the time together with him before the Rise of the Undead as well as the fight I had with him. I was sure there was no way he survived."
Abigail took another break, she took a deep breath and continued talking
"So I made my way through a Nether Hord Outpost and managed to get into the Overworld. I collapsed shortly after going through the portal. And from there you know the story." Abigail said in a deep and sad voice.
"..." Patrick took a moment to think.
"I see. So if I understand this correctly you do not possess the Nether Star anymore?" Patrick reassured himself.
"Yes, with it gone I remember my past. I do not want to fight for the Nether again." Abigail said determinedly.
"Fine, I believe you. Rain wants to talk to you as well. I will notify him about what happened and send him to you." Patrick said as he wrote everything down.Patrick stood up and turned taking the papers with him, he closed the heavy Iron door behind him once again. Locking Abigail inside once again.
Ser Patrick walked along the hallway as Rain was currently making his way towards the Interrogation chambers, the two ran into each other.
"Hello Sire, how did the Interrogation go?" Rain Asks
"Well, It did go very unexpected, to say the least, She appears to have memories of the time before she became the Nether Princess. She also said she has memories of you. She lost the Nether Star, maybe it has something to do with that thing." Patrick replied.
"If you go to her, try to convince her to stay and join us. A person of her skills and abilities would be a good help to us. If she agrees, you can let her go." He added
"I will try... I also have matters to discuss with her If it is true what she said. The poison her spear had on it is still advancing. I have talked with Stella, she wants to talk with you and me about it later." Rain said.
"Alright." Patrick replied as he already walked off.Rain continued to the Interrogation room. As he entered he found Abigail sitting on the chair. They both looked at each other. It was the first opportunity they could talk together in such a long time. Rain took a deep breath and took a seat where Patrick did before him.
"So, Ser Patrick said you remember 'things' from your past." Rain started.
"Rain, I am not the enemy you see me as... not anymore." Abigail responded.
"Then why did you attempt to escape from the escort?" Rain asked in a hars tone.
"I wanted to find and talk to you." Abigail replied.
"And what exactly was it you want to talk with me about?" Rain then asked as he stood up from the table placing his hand in front of it.
"I wanted to explain myself to you, I wanted to apologize for what I did and explain who I am now." She replied
"Then tell me who exactly are you." Rain said harshly and in distrust.
"My name is Abigail Crysetoffer, I lived in Glacierford and before the invasion of the Undead ... I was your Girlfriend."
