Chapter 47 - The End

J'onn and Kara both get back up to their feet and look at Lex and Lillian Luthor in their Lex-o-suits, hovering about 3 feet from the ground.

"Lex, Lillian." Kara nods, "It's good to finally meet you."

Lillian lets out a scoff as soon as Kara says that.

"I can assure you, Miss Danvers, the pleasure is entirely mine." Lex says, with a smirk, "Now, I suggest you quickly go fetch my sister, otherwise things are going to get messy in here."

Kara rolls her eyes, thinking that what Lex said is such a cliché, as it's such a typical 'villain' thing to say.

"And let me guess, it will start with me?" Kara asks.

"What? No." Lex says, with a confused look on his face, "It will start with them."

Lex then turns and points one arm of his Lex-o-suit at some of the El-Corp employee hostages and shoots.

"No!" Kara yells.

J'onn quickly flies over, as Supergirl, and tries to block the beams shooting out of Lex's suit, but doesn't get all of it, causing part of the beam to hit one of the female employees in one of her arms, doing some serious damage.

"AHAGFHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" The female employee screams out in pain.

Kara now grinds her teeth in anger.

"Now...." Lex says, turning back to look at Kara, "Unless you want more of your dear employees to suffer, you will bring my sister to me, right now. And the next time I'll make sure to do more than just injure them."

Kara looks over at her employees, who all have such terrified looks on her faces, and sees that J'onn is still recovering on the ground from being hit by whatever the beam was that Lex shot out of his suit. Honestly, Kara isn't sure what to do right now. Kara knows that she could just charge at Lex and Lillian with her powers, but that would give away to them, and the world, that she is Supergirl, and Kara isn't sure if she wants to do that. Kara knows that if the world were to know that she, Kara Danvers, is Supergirl, then not only would people try all sorts of legal means to come after her company, for her technically not being a real US citizen, but also her Supergirl enemies might target her family to get to her. But Kara's other choice is to give up Lena, but she certainly isn't going to do that.

"I don't get it....." Kara eventually decides to say, "You.... seem to have these suits.... Which are clearly capable of inflicting some serious damage..... So why do you need your sister? ..... Surely you have figured out some way to hurt the Kryptonians rather than using dogs as disposable things in hopes to kill Superman, and now Supergirl."

Lex chuckles, manically.

"This is no longer about just that." Lillian says, "We cannot allow Lena to think she can get away with all she has done. Their needs to be consequences for her actions, and all the trouble she has put us both through."

"Yes." Lex agrees, "Plus, she could still be a useful tool in helping us create more weapons to use against the Kryptonians."

Kara now laughs.

"And you think after today, after you have now exposed yourself to the world as being criminals, that you will get away with everything?" Kara asks, "Your time is up. We don't even need that data on your servers anymore. You have committed acts of terrorism. You are both going to prison, no matter what happens here."

Lex now laughs again, dryly.

"That's where you are wrong." Lex says, "I have learnt that as long as you pay the right people off, you are untouchable. Then even if I wasn't, once I deal with the Kryptonians, no one will have the power to stop me."
