I guess this is it. I'm back on campus.

Brandon helps me carry my baggage and I take a sigh of relief when I'm back in my dorm.

He puts down my baggage and I thank him.

"Did you miss it?" he asks.

"Yeah, more than I thought I would."

Brandon doesn't know what really happened to me, he thinks I had a car accident.

He smirks. "Do you think it would be to too soon to invite you to a party?"

Here it comes. Parties are never missing with these people.

"I'm actually going out to movies with my friends," I say.

He puts his hand on his chest, acting offended. "Am I not your friend?"

"It's a girl's night only, sorry, Don."

"Just call me Brandon. Don reminds me of Dominic."

"Ugh, terrifying to think of Dominic, right?" I joke.

He smiles. "See you around, 'Ronica."

I chuckle as he dances out of my room.

"You are missing out," he sings as I look at him in the hall.

"I'm not!" I yell.

"Come on, we will have food too," he sings.

I laugh as I close the door, but not soon after Nicole enters.

She immediately runs to hug me until I can't breathe.

"Oh my God, I'm so glad you are back! We will have so much fun-" she pauses. "Unless you don't want to... you know... maybe it's too soon."

"Shut up," I say jokingly. "I can't wait to see that movie."

"It's a romantic comedy. Irène's going to ruin it. Why does she have to come?!" she sighs.

I unzip my baggage and I organize everything in the closet again. Let's hope it's the last time for this semester. I can't believe summer is only three months away and my birthday is next week.

I am turning nineteen years old.

"Don't worry about her. I think she's changed," I say, unsure.

"Changed? I know something about people changing. They only get worse."

I sigh. "Okay. But she is better with Shanice."

"Nah, they both have dynamic personalities. It's just a matter of time before they ruin each other."

"Okay, first year psychology student," I joke.

"Everyone always makes fun of my degree," she smiles. "But for real, it's common sense. They won't last."

I shrug. "I think they are very happy together."

I reflect back to the kind of couple Cyprian and Nicole would have been. They would have worked out if it wasn't for him being a creep.

"You just don't like Irène," I say before I even think.

"Because she is a fake bitch!" she yells.

I roll my eyes. It's true that Irène is spoiled and rude but she isn't fake, she will say it as it is without holding back.

Sometimes I think Nicole hasn't moved on from what Irène did just because she believes things would have went a different way with James. I feel like she truly believed he had a weak moment.
