"Ok. So, let me get this straight.... you're telling me that you're living in a time loop?? Like that guy... in that movie with the groundhog??" she says.

"Yes! Exactly... that's exactly what I'm telling you...and let me add, I've told you this for about two weeks now." I say

"Why? Why do you keep telling me? Let's just ignore the fact that there is no way that you're living in a time loop...why do you keep telling me every day?" she asks.

"Because I'm finding that after about 10 years, I'm actually craving human contact. I just want to talk to someone...some days I don't even mention the time loop at all and we just talk about tv shows and books and movies." I say

"OK. Well, this is a coffee shop, so I can see something like that happening.... talking about books, tv shows and movies.... let's get back to the time loop... you say that you're not stuck in it? You can get out any time you want? So...why don't you get out?" she says

"I don't want to. I like it here...I know everything and I have everything that I want. All the books and movies and tv shows to keep me occupied for many, many years....forever actually. I don't need anything else and, get this, my house is completely setup...before the reset...like all the food I need is there...everything is clean and tidy...I'm clean and tidy. I don't have to shower or shave or trim my nails ever again. I don't have to mow the yard. I don't have to wash the dishes or my clothes or pay bills or go to a job to make money to pay bills. Oh and I'm deathly afraid of spiders...so, no spiders in my house or anywhere close. No spiders or any bugs or birds getting in my attic or squirrels getting in my attic. I'm telling you, I had this completely set up before it all started. It's totally perfect!" I say.

"Well, when you spell it out like that, I can see why you like it so much .Makes me kinda want to have the same thing actually. So, how did you set this up? How did you make this happen?" she says

"Oh,I didn't make it happen. No way I could've pulled that off. No. I just happen to know a guy...well, it's not really like that at all, but I can't really explain it, so let's just go with that." I say.

"So, its been ten years?" she asks.

"Yeah...well, as close as I can figure. It might be longer. I've been reading a lot of books. Fantastic stuff like, Wheel of Time and the Foundation series and all of Alan Dean Fosters books and Piers Anthony and rereading books like Heinlein's young adult books before they were even called young adult...the juvenile books...oh those are so good! Have you read any of that stuff? What do you like to read?" I asked

"Wow, that's a lot! I've not read any of those. I'm more into stuff like Ray Bradbury, Neil Gaiman and Twilight....yeah, I read Twilight and Harry Potter." she says

"Oh!!I love Harry Potter! I just reread those again about a week or soago....well, relatively speaking that is...for you it's always today, so your week ago is really different from my week ago." Isay

"Wow! You're really serious aren't you? How can you prove it?? ...make me believe?" she says.
