Hagumi opened the door to her room. There are a lot of stuffed toys around and a comfortable bed on the side. She beckoned the two to sit down on the floor as Hagumi crawled over to one of her drawers and pulled out a small notebook. "This is my brother's journal." Y/n carefully takes it from her hands and flipped it through the pages.

"Mom and Dad used to fight a lot back then," Hagumi's copper eyes downcasted to the wooden floor, dragging her finger in circles as she explained their situation from the past. "We were still children who doesn't even have any idea what's going on between them. They started living separately, Karuto was with Mom and I was with Dad. We left them first, not realizing that they also followed and left Kamome without a word."

"It took seven years for them to get together again. When they did, they started fighting once more. I tried to keep in a happy persona while my brother did his best to protect me in anyway possible. I can see that he's tired but I didn't expect him to do it..." The orange haired girl starts to tear up from remembering how her big brother died, it took a huge toll in her life, so she has to live for the rest of her life as an only child.

Y/n understood what she had been through. She also lost her sibling back then, suffered for three years until she was able to live like any other day. Y/n pulled Hagumi into a hug as the orange haired girl cried on her shoulder. "Shhh, it's alright Hagumi-chan..." She comforted her by rubbing circles behind her back. "You're not alone..."

"I too, lost my sibling, except she got into an accident. We couldn't save her since it was already too late, I guess we're both the same." Y/n pulls away from the hug and cups Hagumi's face to wipe her tear-stained cheeks. "I may be still grieving for her, but she will always have a special place in my heart and I will never forget her."

"Your brother will always have a special place in your heart in which you wouldn't forget him despite him being gone." If only Hagumi knew that her brother turned into a supernatural, disguised himself as a student to torment those who are around Y/n just to have her back so he can permanently turn back into a human but in the end he disappeared, forever.

"After Nii-chan's death, my parents suddenly stopped fighting, then they decided to open up a croquette shop since he loves to eat them, as a way for us to honor his death. They decided to barricade his door, but I managed to get some stuffs from his room before they did." Hagumi grabbed a flash drive and inserted it in her laptop. "I downloaded Nii-chan's files and data from his phone."

Y/n viewed his pictures from Hagumi's laptop, she scrunched her face at his pictures from years ago before he died. He looked the same just like when he came to Kamome as a disguised student; brown hair with blonde tips and coffee colored eyes. He looked really happy in these pictures, getting achievements left and right from his school. "Your brother is a nice writer." She said, motioning towards the poems that he made from his journal. "They're so deep, I can't write stuffs like this because I write fanfictions."
