Chapter 5: Happy Birthday! (Millie's PoV)

Another day, another dollar, I suppose that was what it was that it was called, as I was just getting off of work, and it was not like money was really a thing in the city. It was used for getting cool stuff, but it was not used for getting the basic stuff, such as food, all at the exact same time too. Food was some thing that you got for free, and I was working at a grocery store that did in fact have free food, all at the exact same time as well.
I was not all too sure as to just why it was that I was even working, if I was not going to lie to my self either. I really did not care about getting cool things, as I really only cared about eating, and going around messing with some dudes, and hooking up with them, all at the exact same time as well. Though, that was some thing easy to do, as dudes were easy to manipulate in to having sex, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
Of course, that was due to the fact that they had so much going on with their nerves that made them that way. It was not even fun for me at this point, as I more or less liked to look for the guys that were not quite as easy to do that to, that was more fun to me, if I was in fact going to be for real with my self, all at the exact same time as well. I did not like feasting on easy prey, as that was far too boring to me.
I just began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to get my mind, and to get my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time as well. I began to start to put my work clothes in side of my bag, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. As soon as all of that was done, I then began to start to walk out of the grocery store that was in fact right in front of me, all at the exact same time to.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as soon as it was that I did in fact begin to start to head out of there, all at the exact same time too, as I nearly crashed in to a guy, all at the exact same time too, as soon as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that. Of course the guy that it was that I had in fact crashed in to, was in fact Knox. He was the biggest ass hole in the city of course, as I was about to apologize him, as I knew that it was my fault, but I stopped my self just before it was that I did in fact do as such a thing like that.
I kind of squinted my eyes at the guy, all at the exact same time as well, as if it was my fault, rather than it be my own, as I had been in a hurry to get back home, all at the exact same time too, never the less. Of course, I was in a rush to get back home, as it was my 21st birth day of course, and my parents were going to celebrate it with some food, friends, and some alcohol. Since of course, I was now working all at the exact same time too.
They were the reason that I was working of course, as they had kind of forced me to get a job, all at the exact same time too. That was easy for me to do, all at the exact same time as well, as I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at the exact same time too. I just got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff, all at the exact same time too, as I then began to start to shake my head a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too.
As I stared at Knox for just a few moments, I then all of the sudden began to start to see that Knox began to start to nod to me, all at the exact same time as well. It was clear that he had in fact now noticed that I had nearly walked in to him, all at the exact same time as well, and that he was about go on ahead and speak to me about it, all at the exact same time too. Based off of the maniacal grin on his face, I had to guess that it was not going to be any thing good, what so ever.
Either way, I kind of just began to start to nod back him, all at the exact same time as well, as I knew that it was in fact my own fault, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I kind of just began to go on ahead, and I began to stare at him right in to his eyes. He kind of just did the exact same thing back to me, all at the exact same time as well.
How ever, in the end, he did in fact begin to start to go on ahead, and he began to start to speak to me, all at the exact same time as well. I breathed in quite a bit of a soft sigh to my self, as I at first wondered if he was about to go on ahead apologize to me in stead. Though he was too big of an ass hole to do as such a thing like that I felt like, all at the exact same time too. Either way it was, I did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"Well my bad! Slut!" He said to me, all at the exact same time as well, keeping the same little grin that he had on his face long before now, all at the exact same time too. I was quite a bit shocked by what it was that he had said to me, all at the exact same time too. I know that the only other guy that had said such a word like that to me, all at the exact same time too, just so happened to be my ex boyfriend, all at the exact same time too.
I had actually loved him, but I had been quite a bit of an ass hole my self, and I had in fact cheated on him. He had called my a slut, and then he had kicked me out of my place, which was now the reason that I was back with my parents, none the less. It kind of hurt me to think back on him, all at the exact same time too, as I kind of began to start to squint my eyes over towards Knox, all at the exact same time as well, as soon as it was that he had said that to me, all at the exact same time too.
Knox began to start to laugh all of the sudden, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden began to start to see him begin to start to walk away from me, all at the exact same time too, as he was laughing all the way whilst doing as such a thing. Mean while, I could not help but to feel a little bit of some pain in my heart, all at the exact same time as well, as to just what it was that he had in fact said to me, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self to stay as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as I was in fact tempted to go on ahead and chase after him, all at the exact same time too, and kind of knock the bitch out of him, all at the exact same time too. How ever, by the time that I had even thought of that, he was long gone at that point, all at the exact same time too. I just kind of grunted quite a bit heavily to my self in stead, all at the exact same time too.
I then all of the sudden began to start to speak to my self quite a bit softly, all at the exact same time as well, as I was not all too sure as to just what else it was that I should do, none the less. I did not want to make a big scene out of it, as I was sure that was exactly what it was that he had wanted. I just in stead began to start to walk out of the store, all at the exact same time as well, none the less, as I whispered a bit to my self, whilst I did so.
"What a fucking piece of shit... No wonder that guy has no friends..." I said to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I kind of felt a little bit bad as to just what it was that I had in fact just said to my self, all at the exact same time too. Whilst it was that I did in fact like messing with guys, all at the exact same time too, that did not mean that I was not an ass hole my self, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just dipped my head a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I shuffled my bag around my bag for just a few moments time, all at the exact same time too, never the less, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now. I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I then all of the sudden began to just start to continue to go with just what it was that I had in fact been doing long before now, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
As soon as it was that I had begun to start to do that, that was when I then all of the sudden began to start to see some thing from not all too far away, that did in fact seem to catch my attention on to it, all at the exact same time too. It was of course, Amelia, who I kind of hated to my dearest heart, all at the exact same time too. She had it a lot easier than it was that I did with getting guys, all at the exact same time too. I was in fact quite a bit jealous about her, all at the exact same time as well.
Guys just automatically seemed to be attracted to her, of course due to the fact that she was so good looking, all at the exact same time too. I kind of hated that, all at the exact same time as well, as I knew that guys did not like me do to my looks. They liked me due to my words, and also based off of the fact that I would in fact hook up with them, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts, all at the exact same time too. I hated being around Amelia, all at the exact same time too, as this time it felt like I might not have much of any other choice, never the less. She was directly in my path over to go back home, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, at that.
I began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self all at once, as I felt like I could just simply go on ahead, and take some other much longer route to go back home, if I was really all that worried about it. I felt like I was not going to be that toxic about it how ever, as I knew I was going to have to own up to it. I just wanted to get back home as soon as I possibly could, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
If it meant that I had to walk by Amelia and her little friend that she was with right now, than I suppose, so be it. I did not care all too much, as I doubt that they were going to notice me, and I really doubted that Amelia was going to go out of her way to speak to me, all at the exact same time as well. I just kind of shook my head quite a bit to my self, all at once, as I did in fact go right on ahead, and I did in fact begin to walk past the both of them, all at the exact same time too.
As I began to start to pass the both of them, all at the exact same time as well, I could in fact not help but to catch a little bit of a glimpse as to just what it was that the both of them were in fact even speaking about, all at the exact same time too. I breathed in quite a bit of a soft sigh to my self, as I really did not want to hear as to just what it was that they had to say, if I was not going to lie to my self either.
How ever, I could not help but to feel like I did in fact want to hear at least a little bit as to just what it was that my arch nemesis had to say, all at the exact same time too. You never knew, I could in fact perhaps use it against her, all at the exact same time too. I kind of just felt quite a bit about thinking about those types of thoughts, all at the exact same time too. I simply just began to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to pay attention as to just what it was that Amelia even had to say to her good friend, in the very first place any ways, none the less.
I kind of just slowed my self down, all at the exact same time too, as soon as it was that I was in fact passing them, all at the exact same time too, just so that I could over hear it all, all at the exact same time too. I let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, just because I was worried about getting noticed. I then began to start to listen as to just what it was that Amelia even had to say to her friend Lenore, all at the exact same time too.
"What are you thinking about these posters that have been all around town? Are you in on it?" She said to her friend Lenore, all at the exact same time as well. I kind of breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once. I almost wanted to laugh, or let out a bit of a snicker as to just what it was that she had just said. I knew exactly what it was that she was even talking about, all at the exact same time too.
Of course, she was talking about the posters that I had seen the crazy scientist put up this morning, as well as the flyers. Surely, I knew that Amelia was at least some what smart, that she was not going to fall for some thing as stupid as that, right? Every single person in this city knew to not trust that man...
I thought that Amelia would be smarter than that, as I kind of just rolled my eyes and snorted a bit loudly to my self, all at once. It was so loud that it did in fact get the attention of the girls, all at the exact same time as well, as I kind of just blinked my eyes a few times, all at once, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I possibly could. I could see both of the girls staring at me from the corner of my eyes, as I did my best to ignore them, and try to act like I was not laughing at them.
I really did not want to start a confrontation with them, if I was not going to lie to my self either, all at the exact same time too. I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could. I could clearly see that Amelia was in fact squinting her eyes at me from not too far away, as of course, that was due to the fact that she knew that it was that I did in fact hate her, all at the exact same time as well.
I kind of just breathed in a bit of a soft sigh to my self, as I just kind of sped up my walking, all at the exact same time too, acting like nothing had in fact happened what so ever, all at the exact same time as well. As I walked past them, I then got my eyes off of them, and I got my eyes more or less on the fact that I was in fact just starting to walk back to my home, all at the exact same time too, as I did in fact hope that I would be there soon.
It was a strange day, and it felt like every one was acting strange. I was quite a bit interested in the poster, now that it was that I had clearly seen more than just 1 person that was interested in it them selves, all at the exact same time as well. I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that I had in fact been thinking on long before now, never the less.
I kind of just stood there, and I more or less stared for quite a bit of some time, all at the exact same time as well, as I felt like I was slowing my self down again, just as it was that I had done a few moments ago, when I had kind of been spying in on the conversation that both Amelia and Lenore had been having with one another, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as I then all of the sudden blinked my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I then began to start to cross the road that was in front of me, all at the exact same time too, as I once again nearly walked in to another guy, all at the exact same time too. I blinked my eyes a few times, as I felt like this time I did in fact need to stay calm. This time, the guy that I did in fact run in to, was in fact, Cole, who was one of the biggest, and perhaps strongest guys in the city, all at the exact same time too.
Not only that, but he was also quite a bit good looking, all at the exact same time as well. But the fact of the thoughts of just what it was that had happened not all too much longer ago, when it was that I had in fact ran in to Knox, all at the exact same time as well, did in fact come back to my mind, all at the exact same time too. I was worried that Cole was going to be the same way that it was that Knox was, about how it was that they did in fact think about me, all at the exact same time too.
Though, I doubted that was the fact, if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I knew that Cole was actually a fairly nice guy, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I began to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to speak to him, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. It seemed like he had been too lost to even notice that the both of us had in fact nearly ran in to one another, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I was a little bit lost due to that, as well, if I was in fact not going to lie to my self either. I kind of just tilted my head a bit over towards the young man, all at the exact same time as well. In the end, he did in fact turn his head over to me, all at the exact same time as well, which did in fact make me feel quite a bit better, never the less. I let out a bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden did in fact see him begin to start to nod to me, all at the exact same time too.
It was clear that he had in fact noticed as to the fact that I was in fact speaking to him right now, all at the exact same time as well. I was glad that he did in fact notice that, as it did in fact make me feel quite a bit better, if I was not going to lie to my self either. I had in fact been feeling quite a bit low on my self, all at the exact same time too, after just what it was that Knox had in fact said to me not all too much longer before now, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as I just began to start to breath in quite a bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too. I then began to start to go on ahead, and I began to start to continue to speak to Cole, all at the exact same time as well. I knew that thankfully, and luckily enough for me, all at the exact same time too, that he was in fact listening as to just what it was that I did in fact even have to say to him in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"I am sorry Cole... I didn't mean to run in to you like that!" I said to him, all at the exact same time too, as I kind of just tried to keep the calmest look on my face as I possibly could, after just what it was that I had in fact said to him, all at the exact same time too. Now this guy, this was the type of man that I would in fact love to get a piece of, as I was not all too sure as to just why it was that I had never really tried, if I was not going to lie to my self either, never the less.
Perhaps that was due to the fact that he was either always at the gym, or he was back at home, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. I kind of just let out quite a bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to act as normal, and as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I then all of the sudden cracked a little bit of a smile on my face, all at the exact same time as well, as I was kind of just doing my best to try to seduce him, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
It did not seem to be working all too well how ever, surprisingly enough to me, all at the exact same time too, as he just kind of had quite a bit of a blank look on his face, all at the exact same time as well. It was clear that the look on my face was not going to work on him at all, what so ever. Perhaps that was why it was that I had never tried to get with this guy ever before, as he was in fact quite a bit of a strange guy, if I was not going to lie to my self, never the less.
I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I just did my best to try to get my mind, and to try to get my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff, once again, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, as I just then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to get my mind, and my focus more or less on the thoughts that had to do with the fact that he seemed like he was quite a bit lost in his head right now.
It was clear that he was thinking about some thing, and I was not all too sure as to just what it was that he was thinking about right now, all at the exact same time too. Flirting with me seemed to be the last thing that was in his head, and I kind of wondered if he was gay, if I was not going to lie to my self. I had not seen him much, none the less, but I for sure knew that I had never seen him with some other woman ever before, all at the exact same time too, as I was sure that some woman would want to love to have a taste of him.
One of those women of course, just so happened to be me, all at the exact same time as well, as I was in fact quite a bit disappointed to see that he was not interested in that what so ever, all at the exact same time too. It seemed like his eyes, and his mind was back on some thing that was in fact all together completely different than all of the rest of that other stuff, all at the exact same time too. He just seemed to be looking out at some thing right now, all at the exact same time too.
As he kind of just stood there and stared out at some thing for just a little bit longer, in the end, he did in fact eventually begin to start to turn his head back over to me, luckily enough for me, all at the exact same time too, as I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit of a soft sigh of some relief to my self all of the sudden, as I did my best to try to get my mind, and to try to get my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that I had been thinking on long before now.
I was kind of just giving up on the fact at this point, of doing any thing with this man what so ever, all at the exact same time too. I kind of felt like I should just move on at this point, as I knew that I did in fact need to get back home, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that all of my friends, and also all of my family was in fact back there waiting for me, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
As I kind of just stood there, and I stared for a little bit more time, I then all of the sudden began to start to notice that finally, Cole was in fact finally beginning to start to speak to me. Though, either way, I really did not have my hopes all too high at this point, if I was not going to lie to my self either, all at the exact same time as well. I kind of had in fact just given up on doing any thing with this guy, all at the exact same time too.
As I stood there, and I stared at Cole right in to his eyes for just a bit more time, all at the exact same time as well, that was when I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to nod back to him, all at the exact same time too, to let him know that I was in fact paying attention as to just what it was that he was in fact about to go right on ahead and say to me. Though I did in fact feel like it did not matter all too much at this point, never the less.
Cole just kind of stared at me right in to my eyes for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time as well, as in the end, he then did in fact go right on ahead, and he began to start to blink his eyes a few times. He was in fact quite a bit of a strange guy, if I was in fact going to be for real with my self. I breathed in quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff once again, all at the exact same time too.
Cole then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to continue to speak back to me, all at the exact same time as well, as I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to finally say back to me as a bit of a response, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
"You are fine... But I got some where to be Millie... You have a good day..." He said to me, all at the exact same time as well, as I kind of blinked my eyes a few times back over towards him my self, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that he did not know me well enough to know that it was in fact my birth day right now, all at the exact same time too. How ever, I did in fact feel quite a bit better on the fact that he at least knew my name, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self all at once, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden nodded back to him, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that he did in fact have his mind, and he did in fact have his focus on some thing much different than all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact been thinking on my self, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just rolled my eyes a bit to my self, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden just kind of did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to walk away from Cole, as he more or less just stood there in the middle of the street, and he seemed to be looking out in the middle of no where right now, all at the exact same time too. I just let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self, as I did my best to ignore all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time too.
I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to continue with just what it was that I had in fact been doing long before now, all at the exact same time as well, which of course just so happened to be the fact that I knew that I did in fact need to get back home, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. I then began to start to go on ahead and do as such a thing like that, as I knew that it was not all too far away, as it was just on the other side of the block.
I kind of just began to start to breath in a bit of a heavy sigh out loud to my self, all at once, as I then began to start to speak up to my self, all at the exact same time as well, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I then began to start to speak to my self, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, just to try to clear out my mind, of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
"Such weird day..." I said to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on right now in the very first place any ways today. It felt like it had been like this ever since it was that I had in fact even woken up this morning, all at the exact same time too. Some thing had just seemed to be a little bit off in the air, as it felt like some thing was a bit wrong, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, at that.
I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to just blink my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too, as I got my mind, and I got my focus on the fact that I knew that I simply just needed to get back home. I just could not wait to go and party, if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I knew that it was in fact going to be the time of my life, all at the exact same time too.
I just kind of stood there, and I stared down the street, all at the exact same time as well, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was even doing right now, if I was in fact going to be for real with my self, all at the exact same time too. I was walking down the street, and I had nearly missed the place that it was that I lived at with my parents, all at the exact same time too. I quickly began to start to turn my head over to that, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
As I stood there, and I kind of just stared at my place with quite a bit of a blank look on my face, all at the exact same time as well, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to go over to just where it was that my place was even at in the very first place any ways, all at the exact same time too. As soon as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing, all at the exact same time as well.
I then began to start to notice that there was quite a bit of some sound in side of the place, as it was clear that every one was already there, and they were trying to surprise me with that, all at the exact same time too. I kind of just began to start to roll my eyes, all at the exact same time as well, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should do, or just what it was that was even going on right now, in the very first place any ways, never the less, at that, once again.
It was clear that they were too busy doing what ever it was that they were doing right now, to even notice that I was in fact coming back home from work, all at the exact same time too. I also had come back a little bit late as well, not by much, but still. Of course, that was due to the fact that I had a few run ins with some people who were obviously not considered my friend, or else they would in fact be at this party, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
I kind of just breathed in quite a bit to my self, as I felt like they should have been ready for this, but it was okay, and I was just glad that they were all here, none the less. I cracked a bit of a smile on my face all at once, all at the exact same time too, at the thought of all of that. I then began to start to knock on the door very hard, all at the exact same time as well, which did in fact get every one to shut up in side of the house, all at the exact same time too, once again.
I kind of rolled my eyes, as I heard a few whispers from in side of the place, all at the exact same time too. Then one person did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and they began to start to head over to the front door, as it was clear to me that they were about to go on ahead and open it for me, all at the exact same time too. They stood at the front door for a little bit of some time, as I then all of the sudden heard the door unlock, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
Just as soon as the door was in fact unlocked, all at the exact same time as well, that was when I then all of the sudden began to start to see the front door of my place begin to start to open, all at the exact same time too. I cracked a bit of a smile on my face, as soon as I saw that it was the face of my best friend, Zander, all at the exact same time too. He cracked a big smile on his face, and he then all of the sudden gave me a big hug as soon as he saw that it was me at the front door.
I hugged him back, as we held on to each other for quite a bit of some time, all at the exact same time too. I knew that Zander had a crush on me, as I sadly did not feel the same way, but he was still my best friend either way. I kind of held on to him for quite a bit of some more time, all at the exact same time as well, as in the end, I then all of the sudden began to start to see him move back, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
As soon as he did, all at the exact same time as well, that was when I then began to start to see him open his mouth, as he did in fact begin to start to speak to me, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I breathed in quite a bit heavy to my self, all at once, as I then all of the sudden heard every one begin to start to speak in perfect harmony, all at the exact same time as well. It was so beautiful it almost brought a few tears to my eyes, none the less, as I did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that they all even had to say to me in the very first place any ways.
"Millie! Happy birthday!"
