Chapter 21: It's Perfect (Knox's PoV)

The man was explaining a lot of stuff, that seemed like some sort of fictional story, like science fiction if I was not going to lie to my self. I knew that we still did in fact have some old old movies back in the day, and it reminded me of time travel. He did not want to go straight up and say it to me, as I was sure that he knew that I would not believe it could be possible.
Which of course, I would not, but based off of all of the words that he was saying to me, and all of the stuff that I did not under stand, I felt like it could be possible. Or perhaps, I was just being stupid, and he could just be making up words because he knew I would believe it no matter what. It was not hard to tell that the man was a lot smarter than me, none the less.
Not that it was all too hard to be smarter than me for one thing, but I was in fact quite a bit sure, just based off of the fact that he had been in this lab for so long, that he had made a damn time machine, that he was smarter than every one. It was crazy some of the stuff that he had been saying to me. I simply just had my eyes wide, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should say back to the man.
All I simply was doing, was just nodding to him, to let him know that I was in fact listening. Of course, I was in fact listening, I just was not really comprehending as to just what it was that he was really even saying to me. I felt like he should know that as well, just based off of the distant look that I had in my eyes.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact just begin to start to blink my eyes a few times. I began to start to breath in a hit of a heavy sigh to my self. I was simply just doing my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could.
As I did in fact seem to just stand there and stare for just a bit more time, I then in the end, did in fact begin to start to hear the scientist begin to start to speak to me once again. I noticed that he now had his eyes squinted at me now. It seemed like he either realized that I did not under stand, or he was about to tell me some thing very serious, all at the exact same time too.
I felt like if it was going to be some thing that was serious, than it might be a secret. I kind of got a little bit excited if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I just began to crack a little bit of a smile on my face, all at once. I knew that I should in fact not be thinking that way over a man that was trying to save the world, but I also kind of felt like I could not help it. It kind of sort of was in fact in my nature, never the less, at that.
As I continued to stare at the man right in to his eyes, he simply just continued to speak to me. It was clear that he realized that I was in fact paying attention to him at the very least. Which I was of course, as I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
"Alright... Why don't you help me get some of this set up, and you can tell me some of the stuff you are good at... If there is an open spot, I feel like you have a fair chance of getting in, it was brave of you to come early..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too. Though it seemed like he had his eyes squinted at me, he did in fact crack a little bit of a smile on his face at the end of just what it was that he had even said to me, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to let out a little bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self. It was not due to the fact that the man said that I had a chance of getting in. It was the fact that he had said that it was brave of me what it was that I had done.
I knew that I was not really a guy to be known for doing any thing brave what so ever, so it did in fact kind of make me feel a whole lot better as to just what it was that he had even just said to me, none the less. I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as in the end, I just kind of nodded to him, all at the exact same time too, to let him know that I was in fact willing to go on ahead and help him with what ever it was that he needed help with.
I was not all too sure as to just what it was, and whether or not I was even fit for it, but based off of what he also had said to me about me having a fair chance of getting in now, I felt a bit of some new life seem to come up from out of me, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as in the end, I just kind of shook my head a little bit to my self.
That was of course as soon as it was that the scientist had in fact looked away from me, all at the exact same time too, as I knew for a fact that I would not have the balls to shake my head over towards him, all at the exact same time too, at that. I just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As I stood there, and I did in fact stare at the back side of the man for just a bit more time, all at once, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to head on over to just where it was that he was trying to take me, all at the exact same time too. I did in fact begin to start to lift my self up from where it was that I had in fact even been sitting at on my chair, all at the exact same time too, as I just kind of stood there and stared for just a bit of some time, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was even doing right now, neither the fact that I even knew as to just what it was that I should in fact do.
Besides of course the fact that I should in fact do what ever it was that the scientist did in fact want me to do, none the less. I just kind of did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once. I just kind of let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact get my mind and my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, none the less.
As I did in fact seem to just stare for just a little bit more time, I then in the end did in fact see the scientist stop at a big machine, all at the exact same time too, none the less. As soon as it was that he had in fact stopped there, he just seemed to stare at the machine for a bit of some time, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I just was a bit lost as to just what it was that he was in fact doing right now for quite a bit of some time if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I even possibly could in the mean time, all at the exact same time too.
As I stood there for just a bit more time, I then in the end did in fact begin to start to speak up to the scientist, all at the exact same time too, to try to get his attention on to me all of the sudden, so he could in fact explain as to just what it was that he even wanted me to do right now, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once.
The scientist of course did not turn his head over to me at all, what so ever, to let me know that he was in fact paying attention as to just what it was that I even had to say to him right now, none the less. I was not all too sure as to just why that might even be the case if I was not going to lie to my self. Perhaps he was a little bit lost in his head right now, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I felt like it did not matter to me all too much, if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I kind of just let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self all at once, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm and as cool as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time. In the end, I just then did in fact continue to speak to the man either way. I did not care if it was that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to him in the very first place any ways, at that.
"So... What is it that you want me to do, and what do you want to know from me?" I asked the man, all at the exact same time too, as that was what it was that he had told me we were in fact coming over to do, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. As I kind of just stood there, and I kind of stared for just a little bit more time, all at once, I then in the end, did in fact kind of just begin to start to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As I did in fact just kind of stare at the back side of the man for just a little bit more time, he then in the end, did in fact luckily enough for me did in fact begin to start to turn his head over to me, all at the exact same time too, at that, none the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to stand there and stare for just a little bit longer.
I just kind of did in fact stay the same, and I did in fact stay normal, as the man did in fact kind of stare me right in to my eyes for quite a bit of some time, as it did not seem like he was all too sure as to just what it was that he should even say to me at first, all at the exact same time too. I was in fact a little bit lost by it at first, if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, at that.
I then did in fact begin to just start to stare for just a little bit more time, right back in to the eyes of the man, as I did my best to try to keep my self as strong as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as I was not all too sure if this was some sort of a part of the test or not, if I was in fact not going to lie to my self either. I just kind of stood there, and I did in fact kind of stare for just a little bit more time, as the man then did in fact finally begin to start to nod back to me, all at the exact same time too.
It seemed like he was in fact letting me know that at the very least, that he was in fact going to go right on ahead, and he was in fact going to begin to start to speak back to me all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too. As I did in fact just kind of stand there, and I did in fact kind of stare for just a bit more time, I too did in fact nod back to the man, to let him know that I was in fact beginning to start to pay my full attention as to just what ever it was that he was even about to go right on ahead and even say to me, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
As soon as it was that he had in fact seen me do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, that was when he then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and he began to start to continue with just what it was that he was planning on doing long before now, none the less. I let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that the man even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, all at the exact same time too.
"Alright... I need you to tell me when the blue bar goes up to 50 on that meter... It needs to be spot on, so you are going to have to tell me when to lower it, and when to higher it..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too, as I then did in fact begin to start to see him all of the sudden begin to start to point to some thing on the machine that we were in fact standing right beside, all at the exact same time too.
As soon as it was that I had in fact seen him do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, that was when he then did in fact begin to start to go over to a switch, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to head on over to just where it was that he had in fact pointed me over to, all at the exact same time too, not all too much longer before now, none the less, at that.
As I did in fact kind of stare for just a little bit of some time, I then began to start to realize as to just what it was that he had been talking about, all at the exact same time as well. I just was a bit surprised to just see as to just how advanced it was that the thing that he had in fact told me to tell him about, all at the exact same time as well. I had thought it to be some sort of scale, or some thing of that matter.
How ever, it was in fact a bit of some thing like a TV screen, which we did not have many of those in the city what so ever, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I saw that it just so happened to be having a red bar, that I saw was all the way at 100% as it said on the meter. The blue bar as empty at 0% as I could in fact see it as a bit of an out line right now, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
As it was that I had in fact began to start to notice that he had not began to start to do as to just what it was that he was in fact planning to go on ahead and do, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to turn my head over to the man, all at the exact same time too, none the less, at that. As soon as it was that I had in fact began to start to do as such a thing, all at the exact same time too, that was when I heard a loud noise, and I felt a little bit of some static shock, all at the exact same time too, that did in fact make me jump back quite a bit, all at the exact same time too, which did in fact kind of bring out the big of some inner pussy in me, all at the exact same time too.
Luckily the scientist did not seem to be all too worried about that what so ever right now, as he just seemed to be continuing to do as to just what it was that he had even been trying to do long before now, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. As I just kind of stood there, and I did in fact begin to start to stare at the man for just a little bit more time, that was when I then began to start to hear some more noise from right behind me, all at the exact same time too.
I quickly did in fact turn my head a bit over to it, all at the exact same time too, to see as to just what it was that was even going on right now, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. As it was that I had in fact kind of turned my head over to it, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then began to start to see, and I then began to start to notice that all of the sudden, that the blue bar was starting to go up, very slowly, but it was in fact going up, as I saw that it was in fact at .3% and it was just barely increasing from there, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just looked at it for a little bit more time, as it then went up by another .1% as I then began to start to remember as to just what it was that the man had even said to me just a few moments before now, none the less, as I then began to start to remember that he had wanted it at 50%. I also knew that if I was going to continue to let it go up this slow, than we would be here for several hours, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I began to start to step up, and I began to start to realize as to just what it was that I should do, and as to just what it was that I should in fact say all of the sudden, all at the exact same time as well, none the less, as I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to speak up to the scientist, all at the exact same time too. I did not turn my head over to him how ever, as I knew that I needed to keep my eye on the bar, all at the exact same time too.
I was sure that the scientist was in fact beginning to pay attention to me any ways, as he had told me that I needed to tell him when it was that the bar needed to go up, and just when it was that it needed to go down, all at the exact same time too, none the less. As I then did in fact begin to start to continue to speak to him, I knew that he was of course beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to him, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
"It's going to have to go up a lot faster... Unless we won't to stay here all day... It's only at .4% right now..." I said to him, as I was never good at reading at all, but I knew what basic numbers were at the very least. I kind of felt like I was actually doing a good job at helping with some thing for once in my life. It felt like I should not be acting this way, but it actually kind of felt a bit nice if I was not going to lie to my self either.
I kind of also felt like I was being an ass hole to the guy on just what it was that I had even just said, and I was not even doing it on purpose what so ever, all at the exact same time too. I guess it was really in my nature, as it felt like there was no such sort of way of stopping it what so ever, all at the exact same time too. I kind of hated my self for it if I was not going to lie to my self either.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact seem to just start to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff, all at once. It seemed like luckily enough for me, the man did not seem to be thinking in on all too much of just what it was that I had said to him.
Perhaps I was simply just over reacting as to just what it was that I was even doing right now. I did my best to try to just act as normal as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact start to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now. I then did in fact just start to stare right back over at the bar, all at once.
As soon as it was that I had in fact began to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, I then did in fact begin to start to notice that the bar was in fact beginning to start to speed up on its rare, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as it seemed like I had only been looking away for just a few moments, but it was in fact already at 13% now.
As I kind of just stared at it for a few moments, as I saw it going up at quite a bit of a fast rate, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of the scientist, from not all too far away from me, on the other side of the room, all at the exact same time too, as he then did in fact begin to start to speak back up to me once again.
I did my best to try to act as normal as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as I did my best to try to not think on just what it was that he was even doing right now. I let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I just kind of stared at the bar with no sort of thoughts or emotions going on in my head, all at the exact same time too. I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that the scientist even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
"Alright... You let me know when we need to stop it then... Is it going fast enough now?" He said to me, all at the exact same time too. I already saw that it was at 28% and I felt like I did not want to turn my head over to him and speak to him this time, all at the exact same time too, as I felt like I might miss it when ever it was that it was in fact to go past 50%, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I simply just put my hand up, and I put a thumbs up as a little bit of a response back to the man, all at the exact same time too, to let him know that it was in fact doing good, and that it was in fact doing okay with just what it was that it was in fact doing right now, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as I was not all too sure if he had even seen me, and he had even noticed me do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, if I was in fact going to be for real with my self as well.
I kind of felt like it did not matter all too much to me any ways, as I just kind of stared down at the bar for just a little bit more time, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact kind of just sort of start to get my mind, and my focus more or less on the fact that had to do with me needing to go on ahead and stare at it. It was now at 46% and I knew that I was in fact going to have to warn him to stop at any moment, all at the exact same time too.
I felt like perhaps I should simply let him know that he should slow down at the very least right now, all at the exact same time too, as I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to speak up to him, all at the exact same time too. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was in fact going to happen once it was that he was in fact going to get past 50%, if I was not going to lie to my self either, I felt like he would have told me if it was going to explode of some thing.
I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then began to start to yell to him before it was too late, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I was starting to get a little bit freaked out about it all, if I was not going to lie to my self either. I knew that he could in fact hear, and that he was in fact beginning to start to go right on ahead and begin to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say him in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"Stop! Now!" I yelled to him, all at the exact same time too, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, all at once. I saw the bar slowly still going up for just a few moments, even though I had heard him shut the thing off, all at the exact same time too.
For a few moments, I felt like he still had it running just a little bit slowly, all at the exact same time too. I saw the number slowly rising, all at the exact same time too, as my heart just seemed to stop, all at the exact same time too. Perhaps I was just over thinking all of this, and perhaps he just was not taking what it was that I had even said to him all too seriously, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I stared at the number, all at the exact same time too, as it then all of the sudden did in fact seem to stop all of the sudden. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too. I blinked my eyes a few times, as I looked at the numbers that were in fact on the screen directly in front of me right at this very moment in time as well, none the less.
My jaw just seemed to drop, all at the exact same time too, as I was not all too sure if he was messing with me, or if he had just designed it that way, and he just wanted to make me feel useful. I was just a bit surprised to see the numbers exactly the same on both sides of the screen, all at the exact same time too, as I just seemed to stare at the screen that was in fact right in front of me for quite a bit of some time, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as I seemed to stare at the screen for just a bit more time, that was of course until I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of the man from the other side of the room, as he once again began to start to continue to speak to me, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
This time, I did in fact feel like it was in fact safe to go right on ahead and turn my head over to him, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. As I did in fact seem to stare at him for a little bit longer, all at once, I then did in fact just seem to stare at him right in to his eyes, all at once. I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
"Does it need to go up or down?" He said to me, all at the exact same time too, as his eyes were completely wide, all at the exact same time too. So were mine of course, as it was clear that he had not planned it to be this way. It almost seemed like it was in fact destined to go the way that it was in fact going right now, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I stared for just a little bit more time, as I did my best to try to just keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once. As I did in fact just seem to stare for a bit more time, I then did in fact begin to start to shake my head back over to him. I saw that right away, he kind of tilted his head at first, as it was in fact clear that he was in fact quite a bit lost as to just what it was that I was even getting at right at this very moment in time too, none the less.
As he stared at me for just a bit more time, he then also did in fact begin to start to squint his eyes over towards me all of the sudden, as if I was being a little bit suspicious. I was not all too sure as to just why that was in fact the case. How ever, I was not really all too worried about it all that much if I was not going to lie to my self either, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact sort of kind of just get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that had to do with that all, all at the exact same time too. I just kind of began to start to dip my head back on over to the screen that was in fact right in front of my face right now, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
As I did in fact seem to just stare at it for just a little bit more of some time, I then in the end, did in fact begin to start to breath in quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, none the less. As I did in fact stand there and stare for just a little bit more time, I then in the end, did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to speak back to the scientist, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as I felt like I was one that did not really believe in miracles. But it felt like the odds of this happening were about 1 in a million, never the less. I did my best act normal, as I just continued to speak to him, all at the exact same time too. I knew that of course, he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to him in the very first place any ways, at that.
"Uh... It's perfect..."
