Chapter 19: Ready To Go (Cole's PoV)

I looked at the groups that were all scattered across all of the tables that were in fact all around us. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I had in fact been thinking. With this many people doing the exact same thing as we were, I felt like we did not have a chance of getting in.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as positive as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at the exact same time too. As I stood there, and I did in fact seem to just stare for just a little bit longer, that was when in the end, I did in fact get my mind and my focus off of all of those other thoughts that I had in fact been thinking on long before now.
I began to start to look away, as it was only making me feel a little bit down right now, as to the fact that I saw at least a hundred people that had the exact same idea as we did. I did not feel like we were being creative with what it was that we were doing. But I also did not expect there to be this many people up so early, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact get my mind, and I did in fact get my focus off of all of that other stuff, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I then in stead did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to look over to Lenore and Amelia, all at the exact same time too.
I saw that the both of them were in fact looking over at all of the other people here as well, a I did in fact see that their eyes were in fact wide as well. It was clear that they had not been expecting as such a thing like this either, such as it was that I had not. I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as in the end, I just kind of shook my head a little bit to my self.
I then did in fact just begin to start to blink my eyes a few times, all at once, as I felt like I could not get my eyes off of the beautiful eyes of Amelia, all at the exact same time too. It seemed to get all of my thoughts, and my mind off of every thing else that was in fact going on all around me, all at the exact same time too, as to just what it was that I was even doing right now, none the less.
What it was that we were about to go on ahead and do, seemed to be just a dream for me, all at the exact same time too. It felt like ever since it was that I had been such a young kid, I felt like I could not wait for a day like today, all at the exact same time too. I was scared to ask her out, if I was not going to lie to my self, as I felt like she needed to become better friends with me before it was that I did in fact do as such a thing like that.
I just kind of stood there, and I did in fact seem to stare for just a little bit longer, as in the end, I then did in fact kind of just start to get my mind and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact been thinking on long before now. I did my best to just try to keep my self in check, and in order, as in the end, I then did in fact start to let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As soon as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at once, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to notice that the both of the girls were in fact beginning to start to look right over to me. It was clear that the both of them had noticed me do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. Luckily how ever, they both seemed to be a little bit too lost in their heads right now, to think all too deep in to it, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I just kind of began to start to let out a little bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact eventually begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to nod to the both of them, once again. It was clear to me at the very least, that I was in fact letting the both of them know that I did in fact was about to go on ahead and begin to start to speak to them all of the sudden.
As soon as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at once, I began to start to notice that the both of the girls were in fact beginning to start to nod back to me all of the sudden. It was in fact clear to me right now that the both of them were in fact paying their full attention as to just what it was that I was even about to go right on ahead and say to them, at that.
Now that it was that I had in fact seen the both of them do as such a thing like that, all at once, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to breath in a little bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self, all at the exact same time too. In the end, I then also did in fact begin to start to speak to the both of them, just as it was that I had in fact planned on doing. I knew that of course, that the both of them were in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it wast that I even had to say to the both of them, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
"Yeah... Well... I hope that we can still get in... Perhaps he might see some thing out of us... After all, Lenore you are super nice... Amelia, every one likes you... And I mean... Hey... Look at me..." I said, as I felt like I was also kind of flexing a bit, all at the exact same time too, which was not some thing that I was normally like if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was even doing, and just what it was that I was even thinking right now, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just began to start to blink my eyes a few times, all at once, as I knew that for a fact, I did not have a big ego that I liked to brag about. In fact, I felt the opposite of that, as I was in fact quite a bit of an introvert, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as I then did in fact begin to start to dip my head a little bit low to the ground, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I did in fact seem to just stand there on the table, and I just began to start to stare at the ground for quite a bit of some time, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was even thinking about right now, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I did in fact seem to just stand there, and I did in fact seem to just stare for just a little bit longer, I in the end, did in fact seem to get my mind and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
I just kind of did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once. The truth was of course, was the fact that I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on with my right now, nor was I all too sure as to just what it was that I was even doing right now, all at the exact same time too. I felt like I was being very stupid, all at the exact same time too.
As I had began to start to speak to Amelia over the last few days, she had in fact said a few things to her friend, such as the fact that she had said she did not like a man that seemed to brag a lot, and she did in fact not like a man that was going to treat her like trash. Of course, I was neither of those things, as I felt like she was saying it to Lenore, as it was clear that she was trying to also make sure that I could in fact hear as to just what it was that she was even saying to her friend, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact seem to just start to stand there, and I did in fact seem to stare for just a little bit longer. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, at that. I just kind of did in fact stare down at the ground for just a bit more time, as in the end, I just began to start to shake my head a little bit to my self.
All of the sudden, as it felt like I was going to be staring down at the ground in silence for ever, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to notice that one of the girls had in fact began to start to speak all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too, at that. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to lift my head up to the both of the girls, all at the exact same time too.
Of course, it just so happened to be Lenore that was in fact the one that was in fact beginning to start to speak to the both of us, all at once. Of course as well, there was nothing wrong with her, and I did in fact like her, all at the exact same time too. How ever, I also kind of felt like I wanted to hear the voice of Amelia right now, as I was a little bit worried that she might all of the sudden not like me any more.
I hoped that was not the case what so ever, as I just kind of wiggled around a little bit in my chair on the table, all at the exact same time too, as I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could for at the very least the time being. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to get my mind, and I began to start to get my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now.
I just kind of stood there, and I just kind of stared for just a bit more time, as in the end, I just then did in fact begin to start to squeeze it quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once. I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that Lenore did in fact seem to have to say to back to me, after quite a bit of some time of silence, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"Yeah... I hope so too... But I feel like we can, you are right... We have a lot of things that the scientist might find could be good... As long as this is some thing that is good..." She said to me, all at the exact same time too, as I felt like she did in fact have a bit of a fair, as well as a valid point on just what it was that she had in fact even said to me, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact seem to just stand there, and I did in fact seem to just stare for a bit more time. I did my best to just try to act as normal as I felt like I possibly could. I still was not all too sure as to just what it was that the scientist did in fact have planned for us, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I still was not all too sure as to just how it was that we were in fact going to be able to save the world, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I felt like I just needed to calm my self down, as I felt like I was not any sort of super hero what so ever, so I felt like I should not try to pretend to be one, all at the exact same time too. I felt like I just needed to stay as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as in the end, I just did in fact kind of start to shake my head a little bit to my self, all at the exact same time too.
I then did in fact start to get my mind, and I then did in fact start to get my focus back on just why it was that we were here, all at the exact same time too, none the less. We were for one thing going to talk about just what it was that we were even going to do, but the first that I did in fact feel like we needed to do first, was to go on ahead and eat some break fast, all at the exact same time too.
I knew that we would not make it all too far through out this day if we were not all too well fed, all at the exact same time too. I knew that I had in fact made some good old biscuits with eggs, all at the exact same time too. I knew that of course, that they would love it, as I had in fact loved the recipe that it was that my mother had in fact used to make for me when ever it was that I had in fact been a little kid, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to reach my hand in to my bag that I had brought with me, all at the exact same time too. I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to pull out the biscuits, all at the exact same time too, as I then did in fact begin to start to toss it on the table for the both of the girls to notice it, all at the exact same time too.
At first, the both of them did in fact not seem to notice as to just what it was that I had done, as it did in fact seem like the both of them were in fact still a little bit lost in their heads, all at the exact same time too, at that. How ever, in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to notice that first, Amelia of course did in fact turn her head over to the biscuits that were in fact on the table, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too. For once, I then did in fact begin to start to see a little bit of a smile begin to start to pop up on the face of Amelia, all at the exact same time too, which did in fact make me feel a whole lot better about this all, all at the exact same time too. It just felt a little bit off that it was that she had in fact not been smiling, all at the exact same time too.
I felt like things were going to go great now that it was that she was in fact beginning to smile all of the sudden, as in the end, not all too much longer after all of that, all at the exact same time as well, that was when she then did in fact begin to start to begin to start to speak to me, all at the exact same time too. I too did in fact kind of crack a little bit of some sort of smile on my own face, all at the exact same time too, as soon as it was that she had in fact begin to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact start to get my mind, and I then did in fact begin to start to get my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I just kind of them began to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in begin to start to listen as to just what it was that she even had to say to me, all at the exact same time too.
"Oh wow! You didn't tell me you were a cook! I thought you were going to bring some thing basic!" She said to me, all at the exact same time too, as I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too. In the end, I then did in fact kind of start to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I could, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to nod back to her, all at the exact same time too. It felt like I had gone to switch from me having a big ego, to now all of the sudden trying to act like I was in fact a bit humble, all at the exact same time too.
It did not seem to make all too much sense to me right now, if I was not going to lie to my self either, all at the exact same time too. How ever, luckily enough for me, all at the exact same time too, neither one of the girls did in fact seem to care all too much, all at the exact same time as well. It seemed like the both of them were in fact starting to just go right on ahead, and beginning to start to bite in to their biscuits, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to try to just stay as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to get my mind, and I then did in fact start to get my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time too, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to speak back to Amelia, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as soon as it was that I had in fact began to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, all at once. I just kind of stood there, and I did in fact seem to start to see Amelia begin to start to nod back to me, all at once. It was in fact quite a bit clear to me right now, that she was in fact letting me know that she was in fact paying attention to me at the very least, still.
I did in fact start to feel quite a bit better as soon as it was that I had in fact began to start to do as such a thing, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to speak to her all at once. I knew that both of her, and as well as Lenore, as I had not forgotten about her either, were both beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say back to the both of them, all at the exact same time too.
"Well... Thank you I suppose... I tried my best... It was my mother that taught me how to make these when I was younger and she wasn't at home..." I said to the both of them, all at the exact same time too, as I was not all too sure as to just why it was that I had in fact even said that in the very first place any ways. I was sure that the both of them did not care one bit about the little story that I had in fact told them, none the less, at that.
The girls both seemed to gobble it up quite a bit quick, which did in fact make me feel a whole lot better if I was not going to lie to my self either. I kind of cracked a big smile on my face, as I just kept on going on ahead, and I just began to start to breath in a bit of a soft sigh to my self. I felt a lot better about all of this all of the sudden, for some odd reason or another.
I knew I was not the smartest guy in the world what so ever, but I also kind of felt like there was one thing that I could say about this all. Even if it was that we were not let in to the science thing, than at the very least, I had in fact got a whole lot closer to Amelia. I felt like I could in fact build upon that relationship that the both of us had in fact kind of formed with one another, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact seem to just shake my head a little bit to my self, all at the exact same time too. I did in fact begin to start to look over to Lenore, all at the exact same time as well, all at once. That was of course due to the fact that she was now the one that seemed like she was going to step up and speak.
It did in fact kind of feel a little bit strange to me, if I was not going to lie to my self either, as to just what it was that was going on right now. Were the both of them trying to pull some sort of prank on me right now? It was usually Lenore that was the nice one, and not all that talkative, but now it seemed like they had switched up from that. It did have me in a little bit of a loop if I was going to be for real with my self.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact been thinking on long before now, none the less. I seemed to just stand there, and I did in fact seem to stare for just a little bit longer.
How ever, in the end, I then did in fact eventually begin to start to nod to Lenore, all at the exact same time too. I wanted her to know that for a fact, that I was in fact paying my full attention to her right now. I was in fact doing as such a thing like that of course, none the less, as I felt like there was nothing what so ever that I did in fact need to be worried about right now.
I just did in fact seem to stare at her right in to her eyes, as in the end, she then did in fact seem to just start to continue to speak to me, once again. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that Lenore had to say to me, or rather to the both of us right at this very moment in time too, never the less.
"Alright... So what do you want to know about this scientist? I have heard a lot about him, but today... It seems like every one wants to trust him..." She said to me, all at once. I kind of just had my eyes a little bit wide, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should do, or just what it was that I should even say back to her in the very first place any ways, none the less.
I was quite a bit lost by it if I was in fact going to be for real with my self. It was as if she was speaking to me as if she knew all about the scientist, and she knew all about these plans. I knew that was not the case what so ever, as I was sure that she had simply mis phrased as to just what it was that sge had even just said to me, never the less.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, as I did my best to just try to not think all too much on that, all at the exact same time too. I then did in fact begin to start to look over to Amelia, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I was sure that Lenore had meant as to just what it was that she had even said over to her best friend, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
After all, all of this was in fact her plan, at that. I felt like I had simply just joined in because I wanted to get my self closer to Amelia. I was not all too sure as to just why it was that Amelia had wanted in on this. Of course, besides the fact that she wanted to save the world, as it was that she had in fact said time and time again.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too. As I did in fact seem to just stand there on the chair on the table for quite a bit of some time, and I did in fact seem to stare for a little bit longer, I then did in fact begin to start to regret this a little bit, all at once. I knew that I wanted to get closer to her, but I also kind of felt like I had in fact might have made a little bit of a mistake on the fact that I had in fact wanted to go in on this, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to just try to calm my self down once again, as in the end, I then did in fact seem to get my mind, and I did in fact seem to get my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact been thinking on once again, none the less. In the end, I then did in fact eventually get a little bit of some help on that, all at the exact same time too.
That was of course due to the fact that I now all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of Amelia, as she then did in fact seem to start to want to speak up once again, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I could at that, as I did my best to hide a little bit of a smile on my face, all at once. I just kind of stood there for a little bit longer, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was doing right now, none the less.
I kind of felt like I was being the 3rd wheel right now, if I was not going to lie to my self either. It felt a little bit strange, but I was in fact fine with it as well, if I was in fact going to be for real with my self once again, as I kind of felt like I did not want to have to be the one that was going to have to step up and he the leader out of all of the girls, all at the exact same time too, none the less, at that.
I just kind of stood there, and I did in fact seem to stare for just a little bit longer, as I then began to start to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, as I did in fact relax my self all of the sudden, all at once. I then in the end, did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that Amelia even had to say back to her friend, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
"I think we are fine honestly... I just wanted to get here early just to see how many people were going to be here too... I didn't expect it to be this many with how many people seemed to be scared and seemed to be against it, and after what the mayor had said..." She said back to Lenore, all at the exact same time too, as I kind of felt like she did in fact also have a bit of a fair point on just what it was that she had even just said, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
It was clear to me that Amelia was in fact a lot smarter than I was, once again, as I felt like I had simply just come here to do what it was that they wanted to do. I had not really thought all too much on just what it was that I was going to do my self during this time, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I did in fact seem to just stand there, and I did in fact begin to start to nod back to Amelia, all at the exact same time too, as I saw that she was now beginning to start to look back at me, all at once.
She had a little bit of a twinkle in her eyes if I was not going to lie to my self either, as she had such a nice smile on her face, all at the exact same time too. I knew that I did not just like her because she was hot... I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was going on with me right now, nor was I all too sure as to just what it was that I was even doing right now, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I felt like I did in fact need to calm my self down right now, all at the exact same time too.
I did in fact seem to just start to look away from Amelia for at least the time being, all at once, as I hoped that she did not think any thing of it, all at the exact same time too. I was starting to think that she might like me as well, but I also kind of felt like I was over thinking all of this right now, none the less, at that. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, once again.
I just seemed to stare down at the ground below me, for a bit of some time, as I then began to start to tap my foot on the ground, due to the fact that I felt like I was going under a lot of stress, as well as a lot of anxiety, all at the exact same time too. I felt like I really could not help as to just what it was that I was even doing right now, in the very first place any ways, never the less, at that.
I just seemed to stare for a little bit longer, until in the end, I then did in fact seem to grow a pair, all at the exact same time too. I then did in fact begin to start to look over to Amelia, all at the exact same time too. She seemed to be having a little bit of a blank look on her face right now, as it was clear that she was not all too sure as to just what it was that was going on right now.
Perhaps I was looking a bit stupid, and I did not realize it. I hoped that was not the case, if I was not going to lie to my self either, none the less. I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the end, all at once. I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then began to start to speak to the both of the girls, all at once.
I sure hoped that the both of them were still paying attention to me right now, as I did not want to look like an idiot right now, all at the exact same time too, never the less. For all that it was that I knew, I light have already knocked that out of the park, as I just felt like I needed to stay calm, just as it was that I felt like I needed to do a few moments before now, all at the exact same time as well.
As I did in fact seem to just stare at Amelia and Lenore for just a little bit longer, I then began to start to continue to speak to the both of them. The both of them did in fact have their eyes widened, all at the exact same time too, as it seemed like it was in fact clear to me right now, that the both of them were in fact beginning to start to pay attention as to just what it was that I even had to say to the both of them right now.
I just seemed to stand there and stare for a little bit longer, for some stupid reason or another that I was not quite sure of. I kind of let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to continue to speak to them, all at once. I knew that I had a blank look on my own face right now, but I really did not care all that much if I was in fact going to be for real with my self. All that mattered was the fact that the both of them were of course beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to them, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
"Alright then... It seems like you are all ready to go!"
