Chapter 28: Not Caring (Millie's PoV)

We all just kind of stood there for quite a bit of some time, all at once. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should say. I felt like I was still too upset with Knox right now, to even believe a single word that it was that he had to say to us.
Even if it was that he had in fact not lied as to just what it was that he had said to me. That was the part where it was not the fat that I had in fact got angry none the less. As much as it was the fact that I had in fact got quite a bit defensive about just what it was that he had in fact said about me in the very first place any ways, never the less, at that.
I just kind of stood there, and I kind of stared for just a little bit longer, all at the exact same time as well. No one seemed to say a single word what so ever, all at the exact same time too, at that. It was clear that no one was all too sure as to just what it was that we should believe right now.
A time machine? That seemed like some thing that you read in a book, or perhaps watched in a movie, all at the exact same time too. I kind of just rolled my eyes a little bit to my self, all at once, as I was beginning to start to feel like we were wasting our time here right now.
If it was that he had a time machine so to say... Than could we not just simply go back in time, and could we not just decide to stop the dooms day event that had led to all of this? Why would he want to hide this all from the mayor, and the people in the city.
I was kind of getting some sketchy vibes from this all if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, all at the exact same time too. I just kind of stood there, and I kind of stared for just a slight bit more time, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As I did in fact seem to stand there and stare, that was when some one did in fact begin to start to step up all at once, at that. They did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and they did in fact begin to start to laugh of course, at that. I did in fact begin to start to turn my head over to just who it was that was in fact doing as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too.
To my surprise, it was the introverted big kid, which was Cole. It seemed like he felt like what it was that Knox had in fact said was funny, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that he did not believe a single word as to just what it was that Knox had in fact even just said, all at once.
I kind of tilted my head a little bit over towards Cole, all at the exact same time too, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to look at him right in to his eyes, as I saw that every one else was in fact looking at him right now. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that, none the less.
In the end, I then did in fact just go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to hear him continue to speak back to Knox, all at the exact same time too, at that. It was clear that he still had not noticed that every one was in fact paying their full attention on to just what it was that he was doing right now. I just let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that Cole did in fact have to say back to Knox, all at the exact same time too, never the less, at that.
"Okay McFly! Let me guess, he's got a car too? We all gonna just fit in to that and drive off in to the sun set?" He said back to Knox, all at the exact same time too, at that. I kind of just stood there and stared for a little bit longer, as I did my best to try to not laugh, all at the exact same time too.
I knew that this was not really a joke, and a game, as I knew that the scientist could very well be putting up a trap to kill us all for some reason. For all that it was that I knew, he could in fact just blame it on time travel as to just how it was that had happened. I kind of did in fact believe as to just what it was that Knox had in fact said, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, all at once.
I felt like he was in fact being for real, even if it was that he was in fact an ass hole, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I was sure that was what it was that the scientist had in fact told him, at that. I knew that he had in fact been in this lab long before it was that the rest of us had in fact got here, never the less.
I just kind of shivered, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, at that. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, at that. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to see that Knox did in fact now have his eyes squinted at Cole, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
It was clear to me that he did not like what it was that Cole had said to him, and it had in fact kind of angered him none the less. I saw him squeeze his fists up tight, all at the exact same time too, never the less. It was clear that he was not happy, but I knew that he was too big of a pussy to swing at a guy as big as Cold was, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I also felt like if it was that he did in fact do as such a thing like that, all at once, that it would in fact ruin our chances of getting in, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, at that.
In the end, he just backed down a little bit, at that. That was mainly due to the fact that Cole now had in fact seemed to notice as to the fact that there was a lot of people that were in fact staring at him right now after just what it was that he had even just said to Knox, none the less. It was clear that it had Cole a little bit thrown off, as I knew that he really did not like to step up and speak all that often what so ever, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of wanted to laugh, but I held it all in, all at once. I was kind of interested in Cole if I was not going to lie to my self. He was big, and he was hot, as I felt like I did not want to get on the bad side with him. At least not just yet at the very least.
I kind of let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact just seem to get my mind and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts at that. I knew that of course, that I did in fact in stead need to think on the fact more or less that had to do with us needing to get along, so that it was that we could in fact work together, none the less.
That was of course the most important part of this all, all at the exact same time as well, at that. I felt like it was more important than any thing else, as he had said a lot about chemistry. And so far, if I was not going to lie to my self either. It kind of felt like it was not going to be the case, just due to the fact that we had to deal with Knox being here, none the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that, none the less. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to get my mind, and I then did in fact begin to start to get my eyes off of Cole, all at once. I then in stead, did in fact get my eyes back on Knox, even as much as it was that I felt like I did not want to be looking at him what so ever right now.
I kind of just stood there, and I did in fact just seem to stare at him for a little bit of some time, at that. I saw, and I did in fact begin to start to notice that all at once. That he of course did in fact have his eyes squinted at Cole right now. It was clear to me that he was not all too happy with him right now.
It made sense to me of course, due to the fact that Cole had in fact been mocking him just now. That was in fact some thing that Knox was quite good at, and I was sure that he could not take as to just what it was that he gave to every one else. That just seemed to be the type of guys that it was that he even was, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, at that.
I just kind of stood there, and I kind of stared for just a little bit more time with a little bit of a blank look on my face at that. Knox was of course not looking over at me what so ever right now, at that. He was in fact speaking back to Cole right now, all at the exact same time too, at that. I did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say back to Cole at that, none the less, even as much as it was that I felt like I really did not want to do as such a thing like that.
"Yeah real funny buddy... No... I am not joking... That is what he is doing here... I saw it with my own eyes... I even remember it..." He said to Cole, all at the exact same time too. I kind of felt like he was being stupid, and I almost wanted to laugh as to just what it was that he had just said.
How ever, I also kind of felt like I could not help but to be a little bit intrigued as to just what it was that he had even just said to Cole, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I was a little bit lost as to just what it was that he kind of felt like he had in fact meant on the fact that he had in fact said as to the fact that he remembered it.
I kind of stood there, and I stared for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time as well, at that. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to tilt my head a little bit over towards him, as I was in fact a little bit interested in just what it was that he had even just said none the less.
I kind of wanted to find out some more about just what it was that he had in fact said about the time travel stuff. It kind of seemed to peak my interest on a  new level of some thing that I would have never thought that A, I would have ever believed in. As well as B, some thing that I would have felt like I would have never cared about what so ever, at that.
I kind of stood there, and I kind of just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, all at once. In the end, I then did in fact just go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to notice Knox begin to start to look away from Cole, all at once. I had a little bit of some fear that he was about to look over towards me, as I felt like I had opened my mouth to speak, and I might have uttered out a word, none the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could once again, at that. I kind of felt like it would be a lot more safe if it was that I was in fact going to keep my self quiet, all at the exact same time too. I did not want him to come after me and attack me again, as it seemed like he really liked to attack my soft spots, all at the exact same time as well.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that, none the less. In the end, I then did in fact just begin to start to look away from Knox, as luckily he was not paying attention to me what so ever right now, at that. Which I was of course relieved to notice that it was in fact not the case what so ever, never the less.
I kind of just stood there, and I kind of just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time at that, all at once. I then did in fact all of the sudden start to realize as to just why it was that Knox had in fact began to start to look away from Cole all at once. That was of course due to the fact that some one else was in fact beginning to start to step up and speak all at once.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that, none the less. In the end, I then did in fact turn my head over to just who it was that I began to start to see speak up, all at once. That was of course the fact that it was probably my least favorite person in the city, even though I did not know her all too well, as it was Amelia, never the less.
I just didn't like her because it simply felt like she got it all easy. Mean while it felt like I had to work hard to try to get a guy, none the less. I kind of felt like it was a stupid out look, and it was bad of me, none the less. I kind of just began to start to shake my head, all at once, as I then did in fact begin to start to get my mind and my focus off of all of those other thoughts, all at once.
In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of Amelia, all at once, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to go on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that she did in fact feel like she even had to say to us, all at the exact same time too, at that, never the less, once again.
"Alright... So if this is all true, than why is he so scared for people to find out?" She said to Knox, all at the exact same time too. I kind of just stood there, and I kind of stared for just a little bit more time, all at once. I saw that his eyes were a little bit wide, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, he just kind of blinked them a few times, all at once, at that.
It was clear that he really had not thought all too deep on to just what it was that she had in fact just even said to him, all at once. I kind of felt like as much as it was that I kind of felt like I did not like her that much. She also did kind of bring up a bit of a fair point never the less, at that.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, as Knox just seemed to stare at her for a bit more time, at that. He had his mouth open as if he was in fact about to go on ahead and speak, all at once. How ever it also kind of felt like he was not all too sure as to just what it was that he should even say back to her, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just stood there, and I kind of stared for a little bit of some time my self, all at once. I breathed in a little bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at the exact same time as well. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, as I told my self that this was not a good time to go on ahead and step in what so ever right now.
I knew that I did not have a single clue as to just what it was that was in fact going on what so ever, all at the exact same time too. I felt like it was in fact best for me to stay as silent as I felt like I possibly could, all at once. In the end, I then did in fact just go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to hear another loud noise from not all too far away.
It got the attention of not just me, but also the rest of every one else that was in fact in the room with me right at this very moment in time too, at that. I kind of did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, at that. I felt like I was a little bit thrown off as it was already, as it kind of scared me to hear the loud screech, all at once, as I jumped back.
As soon as it was that I had in fact looked over in the direction that it was that I had in fact heard the noise come from, all at once. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to realize as to just what it was that was in fact even going on right at this very moment in time too, at that. It was clear to me that the other group of people that had in fact left to talk to the scientist, were in fact now coming back in to this room, as it was clear that they were in fact done speaking, none the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, as I was not all too sure as to just why it was that I felt like I was in fact a little bit surprised by it. It almost kind of felt like I was thinking he was in fact doing some thing with them in the other room, at that. As I felt like they were going to come out of there as dead corpses, at that.
I kind of shook my head a little bit to my self, all at once. I kind of felt like my mind was in fact a little bit too warped right now, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for a little bit more time.
That was when I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to breathe in a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, to try to calm my self down, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of the scientist, all at once. It was clear that he was in fact going right on ahead, and he was in fact speaking to all of us that were in this room right now, at that.
I just kind of stood there and stared at him with a little bit of a blank look on my face, at that. I was glad that he was not looking over at me at all right now, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was thinking. Nor was I all too sure as to just what it was that I was feeling right at this very moment in time too, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, all at once. That was when he then did in fact begin to start to continue to speak to us, now that it was that he knew he had all of our attentions on to him, at that. I of course my self, did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact even have to say to us all, in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"Alright so who wants to be the next group to step up in this?" He said, as it almost kind of felt like he had a little bit of a bored look on his face, all at the exact same time too. I kind of gulped a little bit to my self, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could at that, never the less.
I was not all too sure as to just why it was that I was worried about the first group that had gone in. But I simply just felt like I was, as I felt a little bit bad that it did not seem like the scientist had in fact taken them all too seriously, none the less. I kind of felt like I needed to step up my game, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either.
I knew that Upton was a good talker, and if he was not talking his way in to getting them in, than I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I could really do then. I just kind of stood there, and I kind of stared for a little bit more time, at that. I then in the end, did in fact just seem to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts, once again.
As I did in fact just seem to stand there and stare for a bit more time, at that, none the less. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to hear the familiar voice of my best friend, Zander, as it was that he was now all of the sudden beginning to start to step up and speak, all at once. I kind of blinked my eyes a few times once again, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to turn my head over to him, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stare at him right in to his eyes, I noticed that he was not looking over at me what so ever. It was clear to me that right at this very moment in time too. That it was of course the fact that he did in fact have his eyes on the scientist, all at the exact same time too.
I was a little bit lost as to just what it was that he was in fact even doing at first, at that. That was until I then did in fact go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to all of the sudden begin to start to realize as to just what it was that he was doing. My eyes were in fact quite a bit wide, all at once, as I was not all too sure as to just why it was that I did in fact feel like it was that I was in fact a little bit afraid as to just what it was that was in fact even going on right now.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for a little bit more time, all at once. That was when he then did in fact begin to start to continue to go right on ahead, and he began to start to continue to speak to the man, all at the exact same time too, at that. I of course did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact feel like he did in fact even have to say to the scientist, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
"Yes... My group would like to go next..." He said to the scientist, all at the exact same time too. I was a little bit lost as to just what it was that he was in fact doing, all at the exact same time too, at that. I just kind of stood there, and I kind of stared for just a little bit more time, at that.
As it was that I had in fact began to start to think on just what it was that Zander had just said, and he had just done none the less. I began to start to realize that he was going to soon, and I felt like he was being stupid. I felt like we were in fact now going in to this blind, none the less.
I felt like Zander should in fact know better than to do as to just what it was that he was in fact even doing right at this very moment in time too, at that, none the less. I felt like I would much rather have the other group go first of course. So that it was that we might be able to get some sort of information out of the first group as to just what it was that the scientist had in fact said, all at the exact same time too.
I felt like I should stop Zander, and make him think twice about this all, all at the exact same time too. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to realize, all at once. That of course, it was in fact too late at this point to try to stop as to just what it was that was in fact already happening, never the less, at that.
I kind of just stood there, and I seemed to stare for just a little bit of some time, as I saw that just like the first group, the scientist was in fact heading over in to the other room. I did my best to try to do as to just what it was that I felt like I could possibly do, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I knew that I was good at reading men, as I looked over to Westley, all at the exact same time too. I had a little bit of some hope that the look on his face might be able to tell me some thing, all at the exact same time too. How ever, I saw nothing on his face, all at the exact same time as well, as it seemed like he simply just seemed to hold a blank look on there, at that.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could at that. I did not want to make it seem like I was staring at him, as I knew that I was not. As I then did in fact quickly begin to start to turn my head away from him all at once, all at the exact same time as well.
As soon as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at once, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to notice all at once. That of course, my 2 good friends Zander and Valarie we're in fact going in to the other room with the scientist, all at once, at that. I felt like it would in fact be the best idea, and be in my best interests to follow them, all at the exact same time too.
I quickly did in fact begin to start to jog to catch up to them, all at the exact same time too. I kind of felt like I was lucky that the scientist had not noticed that what so ever. He luckily turned his head back around to us, all at once, just as soon as it was that I had in fact caught up to Zander, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. That was when I then did in fact just go right on ahead, and I then did in all of the sudden start to head on over to the other room, at that. As it was that all 3 of us had in fact gone in to the door way, at that.
That was when I then did in fact hear the loud screech, all at once, of the door closing right behind us. I was a little bit lost as to just how it was that it had in fact happened at first, all at the exact same time too. I knew that no one had in fact gone close enough to it to close the door, all at once.
That was when I then did in fact notice that the scientist did in fact just so happen to have his hand on some thing, all at the exact same time too, at that, none the less. As it was that I had in fact began to to start to notice as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to notice that he had some thing in his hand, all at once.
He quickly did in fact seem to put it in his pocket right away, all at the exact same time too. I did in fact begin to start to tilt my head over to him, all at the exact same time too, never the less, at that. As soon as it was that I had in fact began to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
That was when I then did in fact begin to start to notice that the scientist did in fact begin to start to have his eyes squinted at me, all at once. I was in fact  a little bit lost by it at first if it was that I was not going to lie to my self what so ever, as well. That was until it was that of course, that I then did in fact begin to start to hear his voice, at that, as it was that he then did in fact begin to start to step up and speak to me, all at the exact same time too.
It was clear that it was only to me, all at the exact same time too, never the less, at that. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to nod over to the man, all at once. I let him know that of course, that I was in fact paying my full attention on to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even did in fact have to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
As he did in fact just so happen to see me do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. That was when he then did in fact begin to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well. I breathed in a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, to try to calm my self down, at that, none the less. I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact even have to say to me in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"So young lady... Would you like to be the first one to talk?" He said to me, at first. I was in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that he did in fact even have to say to me, at that. I once again did in fact begin to start to tilt my head a little bit over towards him once again, at that. He did not seem to either care, or he just did not seem to notice that I was in fact lost what so ever as to just what it was that he was in fact even getting at right now. He just in stead did in fact seem to continue to do as to just what it was that he was even doing long before now, at that. That was of course the fact that he did in fact just so happen to continue to speak to me at the very least, at that. I kind of let out another bit of a soft sigh to my self once again, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact even feel like he did in fact even have to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, at that. "I just need to know your name, and what your good, and what it is that you are bad at... Keep it short... Keep it simple..."
I blinked my eyes a few times, all at once, as soon as it was that he had in fact even just said as to just what it was that he had even said to me, all at the exact same time too. I did in fact have my eyes a little bit wide, all at the exact same time too. It seemed like I was in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that he was in fact even getting at in the very first place any ways, once again, at that.
I just kind of seemed to stare at him with a little bit of a blank look on to my eyes for a little bit of some time, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for a little bit more time, all at the exact same time too, at that. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to see him roll his eyes at me, as if it was that I had in fact just done some thing stupid, all at the exact same time too.
I was a little bit lost as to just how that was in fact the case, and as to just how that was in fact the case, all at the exact same time too, at that. I knew that I had not done any thing, or said any thing back to him just yet what so ever. As I was in fact simply just trying to think on just what it was that was in fact going on right now, at that.
That was when it then came back to me, all at once. It then did in fact begin to start to hit me, all at the exact same time too, as to just why it was that the man was in fact being the way that he was being right now. I began to start to realize that it was my own stupid fault for not realizing it sooner, all at the exact same time too.
Of course, that was due to the fact as to just what it was that he had even just said to me, all at once. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for a little bit more time, all at the exact same time too, at that. That was when I then did in fact all of the sudden start to breathe in a little bit of a heavy sigh to my self, at that.
I then in the end, did in fact begin to start to get my mind, and my focus back on to reality, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, at that, none the less. And I then did in fact begin to start to nod back to the man, all at once. It was clear that I was letting him know that I was about to speak to him, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just began to start to do as such a thing like that, none the less. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to notice that of course, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. That he was in fact beginning to start to nod back to me, all at once. It was clear that he was in fact letting me know that he was in fact paying his full attention on to me, all at the exact same time too.
I let out a little bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self, all at once, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to speak to him, all at the exact same time as well. I knew that of course, that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to him, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"Um... Yeah... My name is Millie... And I guess... I'm good at flirting... I can easily seduce guys, and get them to do things... My weakness... I guess is just not caring..."
