Chapter 2: Bad Idea (Lenore's PoV)

I looked over at my friend Amelia, as she had a big smile on her face as she stared at Cole, as he simply just walked away from us. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was in fact even going on with my friend at all, right at this very moment in time either. Surely she did not have a crush on that guy, right?
Cole was weird, even though I did not know how that well, as big as he was, he sure did not like to show it off. When ever it was that some thing bad was to happen, he was always the first guy to go and hide. I kind of felt like it was stupid that Amelia wanted to bring him with us, as I kind of felt like he would simply only slow us down.
I kind of just let out a bit of a soft sigh, as I wondered if my friend just thought that he would protect us, if it was that the scientist was to go crazy on us. I really doubted that he would, and if I was not going to lie to my self either, I felt like he would be the first one to run away. I kind of just rolled my eyes over to my friend, all at the exact same time too.
I knew that she did not have a crush on Cole for sure, as I knew for a fact that she was a good friend, and she would have in fact told me if that was in fact the case, none the less. I knew that Amelia was for sure not just in to guys due to their looks at all, as much as it was that I did in fact know that Cole was in fact insanely good looking. I felt like I needed to relax, and I needed to calm down, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
This was not like me at all, what so ever, as I kind of felt like I was being way too overly protective of my best friend right now, for no such sort of reason what so ever. I felt like if she was to like him, than that would be her own decision. It was not like me to step in and try to stop her from liking who ever it was that she was going to like, never the less.
How ever, I still felt like I could not help but to be a little bit confused as to just what it was that it was all about. I felt like I could not help but to question my friend, all at the exact same time too, none the less. As I stood there, and I stared for a little bit longer, I knew that it was all going to be fine, and I knew that it was going to be okay.
I could not help but to feel bad for Cole, as if I had to guess, than my friend Amelia might have simply just done that to make him feel a little bit better. I knew that it was not due to the fact that she felt like she needed protection what so ever, at all, all at the exact same time too. I felt like it was more just due to the fact that my friend was trying to be nice, and that she wanted to have some time with some people.
I knew that was in my nature, all at the exact same time as well, so I knew for a fact that I could not blame Amelia for being the way that she was being right now, all at the exact same time as well. I kind of just let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self all of the sudden, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, once again.
I then all of the sudden began to start to nod to my friend, all at the exact same time too, as soon as it was that she had in fact turned her head away from Cole, none the less. She now had her eyes on me, as I did my best to try to stay as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time. I saw that Amelia had a little bit of a smile on her face right now, which I was not all too sure as to just why that was in fact even the case right now, if I was not going to lie to my self either.
In the end, Amelia then all of the sudden began to start to go right on ahead, and she began to start to nod back to me, all at once. It had in fact made me feel quite a bit better at the very least, to now know that she was in fact paying attention to me right at this very moment in time too. I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit of a heavy sigh of some relief to my self all of the sudden, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those other thoughts that I had even been thinking on long before now, once again.
I then in stead did in fact get my mind, and I got my focus on the fact that I knew that I was planning on speaking to my friend, all at the exact same time too. I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. I knew that she was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to her in the very first place any ways, at that, so there was not really all too much that I needed to be worried about right now.
"What are you thinking with him? I mean I get it that he is good looking but come on..." I said to her, as I kind of rolled my eyes a bit over towards her once again, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was still even going on with my good friend at all right now, as it felt like she was acting quite a bit strange. I did my best to try to stay as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, as I tried to act like I was not all too bothered by it what so ever.
How ever, I kind of felt like I could not help but to feel like it was in fact throwing me off a bit, none the less. I just kind of stared at her with a little bit of a blank look on my own face for quite a bit of some time, all at once, as Amelia then all of the sudden began to crack a bit of a smile on her face, all at the exact same time too. She then all of the sudden began to start to turn her head back over in the direction that Cole had just gone off to.
I was quite a bit lost as to just what it was that was even going on with her still, all at the exact same time too, as I kind of just let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could still. I stared at her for just a little bit longer, as in the end, she did in fact turn her head back over to me all of the sudden.
She still had the same smile that she had on her face not all too much longer before now, all at the exact same time too, as I still was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on with that right now. How ever, in the end, she did in fact go right on ahead, and she did in fact nod back to me, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that she finally was in fact about to speak back to me, as in a little bit of a response back to me.
It still felt quite a bit strange to me, as to all that was even going on right now, if I was not going to lie to my self either, but in the end how ever, I did in fact nod back to her. I was not all too sure as to just what else it really was that I should even be doing at all, what so ever right now. I just let her simply know that I was in fact paying attention once again, as to just what it was that she was about to go right on ahead and say back to me all of the sudden, none the less.
Amelia kind of looked at me with quite a bit of a blank look on her face, all at the exact same time as well, as if she was not all too sure as to just what it was that she should even say back to me, all at the exact same time too. I kind of let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self once again, as I did my best to try to calm my self down. In the end, Amelia did in fact go right on ahead, and she did in fact begin to start to speak to me all at once. I did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to listen as to just what it was that she even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"Well... I just felt bad for him... That is not like you to not feel bad for some one..." She said to me, as she tilted her head a bit over towards me, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that she was kind of mocking me right now, which did in fact annoy me quite a bit if I was not going to lie to my self either, none the less. Though I also knew that she did in fact bring up quite a bit of a fair point on just what it was that she had even just said to me, all at the exact same time too.
I knew that it was not like me to not care for Cole, but I kind of felt like Cole was strange, and I felt like I could not help but to think weird things about the guy. I still was a little bit worried for the fact that my friend might actually have a crush on the guy. How ever, I also felt like there was nothing that I could do about that what so ever, as I knew that in the end, it was in fact her own decision to do what ever it was that she did in fact want to do, all at the exact same time as well.
I still kind of felt a little bit off about it, and I was not all too sure as to just why that was. Cole just seemed to be acting a bit weird around the both of us, and it kind of just threw me off. Perhaps she was right, and I needed to calm my self down, never the less. I was sure that all was going to be fine, and I needed to be more worried about the scientist right now, than it was that I needed to be worried about Cole right now.
I kind of just blinked my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, once again. I let out another bit of a soft sigh to my self once again, all at once, as I did my best to try to get my mind, and to try to get my focus off of all of those other thoughts. I knew that I was not the smartest girl in the city, and it probably was not the best idea for me to be thinking the way that I was right now, none the less.
I kind of just got my mind, and I got my focus back on to Amelia, all at the exact same time as well, as I saw her looking at her nails right now, as if she was some sort of prep girl, all at the exact same time too, which did in fact confuse me quite a bit, if I was not going to lie to my self either. I tilted my head a little bit over towards her all at the exact same time too, just as it was that she had done before.
In the end, I then all of the sudden did in fact decide that I was in fact going to go right on ahead, and that I was in fact going to go on and speak back to her, all at the exact same time as well. I began to start to begin to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. I stared at my friend in the mean time, as she then all of the sudden began to start to lift her head up and over to me, all at the exact same time as well.
I still was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on with her at all right now, but I felt like it was best for me to just not be all too worried about her at all right now, as I kind of just got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of that, and I got my mind and my focus on the fact that had to do with what it was that I was about to go on ahead and say to her. She just seemed to stare at me for quite a bit of some time, all at the exact same time too, as she just had quite a bit of a blank look on her own face, as if she did not have a single clue as to just what it was that was going on right now.
I kind of just let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too. It was a sigh loud enough for her to notice, all at the exact same time as well. It was clear that she had in fact noticed it, none the less, as she then all of the sudden did in fact finally go right on ahead, and she began to start to nod back to me, all at the exact same time too, to let me know that she was in fact paying attention as to just what it was that I was about to go right on ahead and say to her, all at the exact same time too.
That did in fact once again make me feel quite a little bit better, as I just kind of began to start to calm my self down all of the sudden. In the end, too, I did in fact go right on ahead, and I did begin to start to do as such a thing, on the fact that I did in fact begin to start to speak to her, all at once. She did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to her in the very first place any ways, none the less, as I was in fact quite sure of that at the very least.
"Well... I mean... If you want to do that, than I suppose that you are right..." I said back to her, as I was not really all too sure as to just what it was that I should say back to her in the very first place any ways. As much as I wanted to just go there with her alone, I kind of felt like we were not going to be alone no matter what it was that was in fact going to be the case, none the less.
As I stood there, and I stared for just a little bit longer, I then all of the sudden began to start to nod a bit to my self all of the sudden, all at the exact same time as well, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at the exact same time too.
I knew that as much as it was that not very many people trusted the scientist that we were about to meet, all at the exact same time too. I still knew that there was people that still had hope, and that there was still people that did in fact have faith that there might in fact be some sort of way that the world could in fact be saved, and that we could get in back, none the less.
I was not all too sure as to just what it was that the scientist had planned, and why it was that he needed young adults to go in and help him with all of that, but I felt like at the very least, that I could not live with my self, if it was that I did not try, all at the exact same time as well. I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact been thinking on long before now.
I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to see my friend began to start to look at me right in to my eyes, all at the exact same time too. It got my mind, and it got my focus off of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact been thinking on long before now, for at least the time being, all at the exact same time too. I then all of the sidemen just began to start to see her begin to start to nod to me, all at once.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I looked at her right in to her eyes, as it was clear that she was about to go on ahead and speak to me. I was about to let her know that I still was paying attention to her, when she then just began to start to go on ahead and start to speak to me either way. As I stood there, and I stared at her with quite a bit of a blank look on my face still, I did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that she even had to say to me, in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"Well... I think we both need some time to think on it... I am going to go back home and get some sleep... I am fairly tired..." She said to me, as I blinked my eyes a few times, all at once, after just what it was that she had in fact even said to me, all at the exact same time too, once again. I just kind of was not all too sure as to just what it was that she had meant by it, and just what it was that she was even getting at, all at the exact same time as well.
I stared at her for just a little bit longer, as she then all of the sudden just did in fact nod to me all at once. She then all of the sudden began to start to turn her head away from me, all at the exact same time too, and she then began to start to walk away from me. It was clear that she was in fact going right on ahead, and she was in fact heading back home, which was of course fairly close to Cole, as I kind of squinted my eyes over towards her, as I saw her go over in that direction.
I was worried that she was about to do some stuff with Cole. I felt like I needed to just stay calm, as I felt like I should trust Amelia to not do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well, as I kind of just got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to open my mouth as if I was going to speak to her.
How ever, I knew that she was far too far away to even be able to hear as to just what it was that I even had to say to her at this point, all at the exact same time too. I was quite a bit disappointed in all of this, if I was not going to lie to my self, once again, as I kind of just dipped by head quite a bit low to the ground all of the sudden, all at once, never the less.
I knew that me and her had some plans in just what it was that we were in fact going to do today. How ever, all of those plans had in fact got side tracked, all at the exact same time too, as soon as it was that we had in fact seen the posters that had in fact been all around the town, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I kind of just shook my head a bit to my self, as I was sure that it was too late for us to go shopping right now, any ways, once again. I just kind of dipped my head a little bit low to the ground, all at the exact same time as well. Amelia was too far away at this point, and I could not see her any more, all at the exact same time as well.
I just kind of began to start to turn my head in the opposite direction that it was that my friend had in fact gone over to, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I kind of just stared at over in the direction that I knew that I needed to go for just a little bit longer, which was of course my home. I looked at it with a bit of a blank look on my face, all at once, as I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to head right on over to where I needed to be.
