Chapter 30: Change History (Amelia's PoV)

There we were, as the scientist did in fact seem to open the door for us to head back in to the other room. I kind of shivered as it was that I did in fact see the others in the room that we had in fact been in with them a few moments ago. I was glad to see that they were all okay, as it was as if I was in fact still thinking that this was some sort of trap.
I felt like it was all real, and it was all true, as even as much as I felt like I did in fact not want to believe a single word as to just what it was that Knox had in fact said. I felt like I could not help but to believe that what it was that he had told us, was in fact true. I knew that he had made up things, and he had lied before.
But all of this stuff that I saw all around this lab, as I knew that I did not have a single clue as to just what it was that it all was. I felt like it very well could be some stuff that could in fact be used for time travel. As I knew that as much as it was that every one else wanted to not believe it, I felt like it simply was in fact true, at that.
For once, I had noticed that Knox had in fact had a serious look on his face when it was that he had in fact told us all about what it was that we were in fact even about to be getting our selves in to, at that. I still was a little bit lost, and I was in fact a little bit confused as to just what it was that was so bad about it, at that. As I felt like perhaps the mayor would in fact be all in on what it was that the man was in fact trying to pull off.
Though, I also knew that the mayor did not like, nor did she seem to trust the scientist what so ever, as I also felt like I could not blame her for being that way, at that. No one knew a single thing about the man, as he was asking us a bunch about our strengths and weaknesses. But he was not telling us why it was that he was in fact asking as such a thing like that, never the less, all at once.
Though I suppose it did in fact come back as to the fact that he had told us that he would not fully let us know what it was that was in fact going on, until it was that he knew that we were the ones that he wanted. He wanted us for time travel? It kind of made sense to me, but it also did in fact kind of scare me quite a bit as well, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, never the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly even could do in the mean time, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact just begin to start to let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, at that. I did in fact do my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time as well, at that.
In the end, I then did in fact go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to all of the sudden see the scientist stop him self in front of all of the other kids that were in fact in the room with us, at that. He then just did in fact seem to stand there. And he then did in fact also seem to stare at all of them for just a little bit of some time, at that. It seemed like he was trying to figure out if it was that he could in fact trust them.
I was not all too sure as of yet if it was that I could in fact trust the scientist just yet, as it was that I still was not all too sure as to just what it was that he had planned for us, at that. It was clear that he wanted us to go in to the time machine, and travel back in time for some thing. It still had me a little bit lost as to just what it was that it could even be, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, at that. That was when in the end, he then did in fact begin to start to speak to all of the kids that were in fact with him in the room right now. It was clear that they all were in fact paying their full attention as to just what it was that he was even about to go right on ahead and even say to them, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I did my best to still try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could once again, at that. I then did in fact let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, at that. In the end, the man did in fact just go right on ahead, and he then did in fact just continue to speak to them all, all at once. As it was that he had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at once, that was when I of course did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact feel like he did in fact even have to say to each and every single one of us that were in fact with him in this room right now, at that.
"Alright every one... It is a bit of a surprise to me, but I feel like you all are fit, and you all qualify for being able to join the team. So... I suppose as long as no one has changed your mind, than that means that you are all in..." He said to all of them, all at the exact same time too, as he had a little bit of an excited smile on his face after just what it was that he had in fact even just said, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and to try to keep my self as normal as I felt like I possibly could once again, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to nod to him, all at once, even though I knew that he did not have his head over towards me at all right now, and he was in fact seeming to pay me any sort of attention.
In stead, he was looking at the other 7 kids that were in fact in the room right now, all at once. It was clear that he was waiting for some one to say that they did in fact want to back out all of the sudden, all at once, at that. How ever, a little bit much to my own surprise as well, it was clear that no one did in fact want to do as such a thing like that, never the less.
It was clear to me that each and every single kid that was in fact in the room right now, was in fact all in on just what it was that we were about to go on ahead and do, at that. It was a little bit of some sort of shock to me for just a little bit of some time, all at the exact same time too, at that, as in the end, I just kind of let out another bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, at that, never the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could, at that. I saw that all of the kids did in fact have their eyes wide, as it seemed like they were still thinking on just what it was that we were about to even go and do, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that it did in fact confuse the scientist a bit, as he was not all too sure as to just what it was that was in fact going on right now, never the less.
Of course, he did not realize that it was that Knox had in fact kind of snitched on just what it was that we were in fact doing, and what it was that were in fact our plans, at that. If I was not going to lie to my self either, I was not all too sure as to just why it was that the man was in fact trusting Knox, and just why it was that he wanted Knox to be a part of this, all at once.
As it was that I had in fact began to start to think on that, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to open my mouth, all at once. I felt like I was the most safe out of every one that was in fact in this room right now, so I felt like I should air out what it was that every one was in fact thinking right now to the man, at that.
I then did in fact begin to start to begin to speak to the man, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact see him kind of start to turn his head over to me, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that he was in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that was even going on right now, and as to just what it was that I was even doing right at this very moment in time too. How ever, I did not care all too much, as it was simply clear to me that right now, that he was in fact paying his full attention on to just what it was that I was about to go on ahead and say to him, at that.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once. I then let out a little bit of a soft sigh to m my self, all at once. I knew that of course, at that, that I was used to having to do this kind of stuff, all at the exact same time too. I then did in fact begin to start to speak up to the man, all at once, at that. I knew that of course, that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I did in fact even have to say to him, all at the exact same time as well, at that, never the less.
"I just have one question... Why do you want Knox in this group? He is known to be the biggest ass hole in the city... Is that not going to ruin the chemistry that you said we needed to have?" I said to him, all at the exact same time as well, as I expected him to be a little bit surprised by just what it was that I had in fact even just said to him, all at the exact same time too.
I felt like Knox had not made it a point as to the fact that he had told the man that he was in fact an ass hole, all at the exact same time too. I kind of felt like he was in fact just trying to play it cool and smooth with the guy, all at the exact same time too, at that. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as cool as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, at that. The scientist then did in fact begin to start to crack a little bit of a smile on his face all at once, for some odd reason or another. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on right at this very moment in time too, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, never the less.
I did my best to try to act as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could once again, at that. The scientist then did in fact just go right on ahead, and he then did in fact begin to start to shake his head a little bit over towards me, for some odd reason or another, never the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as cool as I felt like I possibly could, at that, never the less.
In the end, I then did in fact just begin to start to stand there, and I then did in fact begin to start to look away from that all, all at once. In the end, I just kind of began to start to stare over towards Knox, all at the exact same time too, as I expected him to have a bit of a smile on his face. That was how it was that he always seemed to act like when ever it was that he felt like he had in fact won, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that he had in fact kind of won, at that.
How ever, I saw that very much to my surprise, at that. He did in fact seem to have his head a little bit low to the ground, at that. He seemed to feel a little bit guilty as to the fact that I had in fact brought that up, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to squint my eyes a little bit over towards him for just a bit more time, at that, never the less.
That was when in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of the scientist, as it was that he had in fact began to start to seem to speak back up to me, all at once. I still was in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that was in fact even going on right now, if it was that I was in fact going to be for real with my self, at that.
In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact blink my eyes a few times at that. I then did in fact just go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to nod back to the man, all at once, at that. I did in fact let him know that I was in fact paying my full attention as to just what ever it was that he felt like he was even about to go on ahead and say to me, at that.
I was still not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on right now, if I was not going to lie to my self either, at that. How ever, either way it was, the scientist did in fact continue to start to speak to me, at that. I of course did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact even have to say back to me, all at once.
"Well... Yes... I know that he is, and that is what you need... You need to get angry from time to time, and you need that extra little push... You need to take this seriously..." He said, as he then did in fact begin to start to squint his eyes at me in the end, all at once. As it was that he had in fact kind of began to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too.
That was when I then of course did in fact begin to start to dip my head a little bit low to the ground, all at once. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should do, or just what it was that I should in fact say back to the man, all at the exact same time too. I just kind of stayed as calm, and I stayed as normal as I felt like I could do as such a thing, all at once.
I kind of began to start to look away from the scientist, all at the exact same time too. I just began to start to dip my head a little bit low to the ground, all at once. I kind of felt like the scientist, as strange as it was to say, might in fact be right, especially if what it was that Knox had told us was true, and we were in fact going to be traveling through time, at that.
I knew that this was not a joke, and he was going to piss us off enough to take this more seriously, all at the exact same time too. And depending on the circumstances, I felt like we might need him to ruffle a few people's feathers, none the less, at that. I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could once again.
In the end, I then did in fact just begin to start to get my mind, and I then did in fact begin to start to get my focus on the fact that I could see out of the corner of my eyes, that Knox did in fact have his head lifted up. It was clear to me that he did in fact feel a whole lot better after just what it was that the scientist had in fact said about him, all at the exact same time too.
A part of me wanted to be a little bit angry about it all, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, either which way. How ever, in the end, I kind of just let out a little bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, as I then did in fact just kind of do my best to try to get my mind, and I did in fact try to get my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now.
As it was that it did in fact seem to just stay silent in the room for just a little bit longer, at that, that was when I then did in fact hear a voice, all at the exact same time too, as it was that it was a girl that had in fact decided to step up and speak finally. I felt a little bit better as to the fact that it was in fact a girl, as I was tired of all of the masculinity that was in the air right now, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, never the less.
I kind of simply just seemed to stand there and I did in fact seem to just stare at the girl who it was that was in fact beginning to start to speak, at that, none the less. It was of course, much to my surprise, one of the most intro verted girls in the city, all at the exact same time too. That was of course the girl friend of my good friend Westley, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that I did not know all too much about Meghan what so ever.
I was a little bit interested in just what it was that she was in fact about to go on ahead and even say to the man, all at once, at that. I just kind of tilted my head a little bit over towards her, all at once, as I just kind of looked at her right in to her eyes. I expected her to be a little bit scared to be speaking right now, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either. How ever, I was in fact a little bit surprised to realize that it was in fact not the case what so ever right now.
It seemed like she was acting strong, and she was in fact acting brave right now, at that. It almost did in fact seem like she did in fact want to go on ahead and start to step up and speak, all at the exact same time as well. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and I did my best to try to keep my self as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once.
As it was that I had in fact began to start to do as such a thing like that, never the less, all at once. That was when I then did in fact begin to start to continue to hear her voice, all at the exact same time as well, as it was that she did in fact begin to start to continue to speak to the man, at that. I of course did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that she felt like she did in fact even need to say to the man, at that.
"So... Is it true that what it is that Knox told us, is that we are going to be doing time travel?" She said to the scientist, all at the exact same time too, at that. It seemed like a little bit of a reverse snitch on Knox, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of felt like I could not help but to have a little bit of a smirk on my face as to just what it was that she had in fact even just said. I saw that Knox did in fact once again seem to have his head a little bit low to the ground, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that he was in fact a little bit embarrassed on just what it was that she had in fact just said about him, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I did my best to just try to keep my self as calm, and I did my best to try to keep my self as normal as I felt like I possibly could, at that. I saw that of course, the scientist clearly was not all that amused by just what it was that Knox had in fact told us, at that. I saw that he now did in fact seem like he did in fact have his head tilted over towards Knox, all at once, as well as the fact that he did in fact have his eyes squinted a little bit over towards him, at that.
It was clear that he was not all too happy at all as to just what it was that he had in fact heard, all at the exact same time too. I felt like, that simply was do the fact that he knew that Knox had told us the truth, and he had in fact told us his secrets, all at the exact same time too, as I felt like he would not be all too upset about it, if it was that he had in fact been lying, all at the exact same time as well.
I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as sturdy as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, at that. As it was that I had in fact began to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, once again. That was when in the end, all at the exact same time as well, at that, he then did in fact begin to start to look back over at Meghan, all at once, at that.
It was clear that he was not at all upset with her right now, as it was clear that he was only angry with Knox right now at that. If you wanted to call that anger, as it seemed like he was simply just disappointed on just what it was that Knox had in fact said to us all, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once.
In the end, the scientist did in fact just go right on ahead, and he then did in fact begin to start to nod back to Meghan, all at once. He had his eyes squinted at her still, but I felt like that was simply just due to the fact that he still was not all too happy with Knox right now, at that. Meghan did not seem to be all too bothered by it what so ever, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, at that.
She simply just kind of seemed to stare at the scientist for just a little bit more time at that, never the less, as in the end, he then did in fact begin to start to nod to her, all at the exact same time too, as it was clear to me at the very least, that he was in fact letting her know that he was in fact about to go right on ahead, and he was about to go on ahead and speak to her, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
Meghan seemed to blink her eyes a few times over towards the man, all at once, at that. In the end how ever, she then did in fact begin to start to nod back over towards him, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that she was in fact letting him know that right at this very moment in time too, that she was in fact paying her fullest attention on to just what ever it was that he was in fact about to go on ahead and even say to her, never the less.
As it was that he had in fact began to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when I then did in fact let out quite a bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once. He then did in fact continue to just start to speak back to her, all at the exact same time as well, at that. I of course my self, did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say back to her, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, at that.
"Well... Some thing along those lines yes... You will be sent back to the past, and I will be trying to get you to change history..."
