Chapter 11: Never Be Too Safe (Amelia's PoV)

I was quite a bit lost as to just what it was that Upton was even doing right on my front door steps, all at the exact same time too. At first, I was in fact quite a bit freaked out as to the fact that there was in fact a grown man walking up on me like that. How ever, I knew Upton well enough, though we were not friends what so ever, to know that he was not going to do as such a thing that I was in fact worried about some one doing, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, as I still was in fact a little bit lost as to just why it was that he was coming up to me in the middle of the night like this, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. I felt like every one should in fact be in their home right now, and that every one should in fact be asleep, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was going on with Upton right now. It seemed like he had a little bit of a panicked, and a little bit of a worried look on his face, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that some thing was in fact going on with him right now, all at the exact same time too.
I felt like I needed to get to the bottom of it, all at once, as I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to nod to him all of the sudden, to let him know that I was about to speak to him, all at the exact same time too. I could tell that Upton was in fact embarrassed about some thing, and it did not seem like he was trying to do what every single guy tried to do with me, all at the exact same time too.
Upton simply blinked his eyes a few times, as a little bit of a response back to just what it was that I had in fact just done, all at the exact same time too, never the less, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to notice that it was now clear to me, that he was in fact paying attention as to just what it was that I was even about to say to him, all at the exact same time as well, at the very least.
As soon as it was that he had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then did in fact begin to start to let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too. I then did in fact begin to start to speak to him in the end, either which way, never the less. I knew that he was in fact, of course, beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to him, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
"Alright... So why might I ask, are you sneaking up on me in the middle of the night then?" I asked him, all at the exact same time too, as I was now starting to think that he might actually be wanting some thing from me, all at the exact same time too. I really doubt that any one would just walk up on me, right in front of my home, in the middle of the night like that, all at the exact same time too, if I was in fact going to be for real with my self.
I knew that there had to be some sort of rhyme or reason as to just why it was that he was in fact doing as to just what it was that he was doing right now, never the less. I still felt like he was going to do any thing to me, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that I knew him well enough for that. I also felt like I did in fact know that he would have in fact done as such a thing like that already, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit of a heavy sigh, all at the exact, as I then began to start to notice that he had in fact began to start to show quite a bit of an embarrassed look on his face, all at the exact same time too, at that. I was in fact quite a bit lost as to just why that might be the case, as I wondered if he perhaps might have ran out of toilet paper or some thing. Though that also did not make sense as to just why he would do that in the middle of the night to me like that, none the less.
I kind of tilted my head a little bit, all at the exact same time too, as I saw him begin to start to scratch his head all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too, at that. I still was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on with him still, right now, all at the exact same time too, as I did in fact try my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, once again. I just blinked my eyes a few times, all at once.
As I continued to stare at Upton right in to his eyes for just a little bit longer, he then luckily enough for the both of us, all at once, did in fact begin to start to nod to me, all at once. It was now clear to me that he was in fact about to finally speak back to me, all at the exact same time too. I was in fact quite a bit relieved to know that he was in fact finally going to go right on ahead, and he was in fact going to respond back to me, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
I then began to start to go right on ahead, and I did in fact nod right back over to him, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I wanted him to at least feel like he was safe enough to go on ahead and do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I was in fact, of course, paying my full attention as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, never the less.
Once it was that he had in fact seen me do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, that was when he then did in fact go right on ahead, and he did in fact continue to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to look at him right in to his eyes, and I tried to stay as calm as I felt like I possibly could, as I did in fact do as such a thing like that, never the less, at that. I then did in fact begin to start to begin to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, at that.
"Well... I forgot I left my key by my front door... I am kind of locked in to my place for the night... I really don't want to sleep out here in the cold... If you could please let me in to your place for the night... I sleep on the floor... Just any where besides the cold..." He said to me, as I saw him shiver, as it seemed like he was in fact reminded of just how cold it was at right now, all at the exact same time too.
I felt quite a bit weirded out as to just what it was that he had even said to me at first, if I was in fact not going to lie to my self either, as I was now all of the sudden beginning to start to wonder if I was in fact wrong with my first assumption on the fact that he was not trying to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. I felt it to be a little bit strange to lock the door on your self, and to not bring your keys with you, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I had never done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well. Was he really trying to hook up with me? It was staring to seem like that might in fact be the case, if I was not going to lie to my self either. I felt like I just needed to stay calm how ever, as I felt like it was also kind of wrong of me to assume as such a thing like that, none the less.
Based off of the look that he had, all at the exact same time too, I had to guess that he was being for real with just what it was that he had said to me, none the less. He had said that he would sleep on the floor, which he did not need to bother with that, due to the fact that I had to bed rooms, as they both had beds, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I had to assume that he was being for real with just what it was that he had said to me, all at the exact same time too, never the less, at that.
I also knew that the office was going to be closed late night like tonight, all at the exact same time too. I knew that he was in fact going to have to sleep out side in the cold if not other wise, all at the exact same time too. I knew that I could not be an ass hole and so no to him like that, as I knew that he could get really sick sleeping out in the cold like that, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
I knew that there was no other reason that he would be right out side of my place, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I kind of just let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, as I finally cleared my mind, and I cleared my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, never the less. I then began to start to get my focus back on to Upton, all at the exact same time too.
In the end, I did in fact go right on ahead and nod to him, all at the exact same time as well, to let him know that I was in fact going to go right on ahead and speak to him, all of the sudden, never the less. As I did in fact do as such a thing like that, it was clear that I had in fact made it clear to him, that I was in fact about to speak to him, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. I just tried to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, as it seemed like his eyes were looking in to nothing right now.
How ever, in the end, it did in fact seem like he had in fact noticed as to the fact that he had in fact began to start to see me nod to him, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. As soon as it was that he had in fact kind of woken him self up, all at the exact same time too, I then did in fact begin to start to see him nod back to me, all at the exact same time too. It was now clear to me once again, that he was in fact paying attention as to just what it was that I was even about to say to him, never the less, at that.
I let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, once again, as I did in fact kind of once again, feel quite a bit more safe, once it was that I had in fact noticed him do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. I then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I did in fact begin to start to speak to him all of the sudden. I knew that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say back to him, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
"Well I have a spare bed room... I guess I am going to have to trust you tonight... I don't want to leave you out in the cold..." I said to him, all at the exact same time as well, as I did in fact squint my eyes over towards him, all at once. I did not want to let him have to much all at the exact same time too, as I was in fact being nice enough as it was, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I was sure that he was happy enough with that, all at the exact same time too.
I saw him crack a big happy, and quite a bit of a relieved smile as to just what it was that I had even just said to him, all at the exact same time too. It almost looked like he was about to reach in for a hug with me, all at the exact same time too, until he then did in fact stop him self at the last second, as it was clear that he did in fact realize that it would in fact be a little bit weird if we did in fact do as such a thing like that.
I was not all too sure as to just who else it was that was watching me right now, none the less, as I knew that Knox had been doing as such a thing like that earlier, never the less.
I was not all too worried about Upton, as I knew that I did not know him all too well, but I could not help but to feel a little bit bad, as I was sure that he was more than likely telling me the truth that he had locked him self out of his home. I knew that dudes did in fact have crushes on me all around, but I really did not know him all too well to notice for him. It also just did not make sense that he would wait out side of his place just for me, all at the exact same time too.
If I was really all too worried about it, which I knew that I had every right to be, than I could simply just lock my door to my bed room over the night, and that I would in fact be perfectly fine, and safe if I did. I kind of just began to start to let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to some sort of relief to my self, all at once, as I then once again did in fact begin to start to get my mind, and to get my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts, all at the exact same time too.
I then in the end, did in fact begin to start to see him nod to me from the corner of my eyes. That was due to the fact that I was more in my head right now, than focusing in on him, all at the exact same time too. I really did not notice any strange gestures that might signify that he was gonna do any thing to me. I felt like I was in fact safe if that in fact was the case, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
I looked at the dude right in the eyes one last time, just to make sure, as I knew that I was usually good at reading people like that. How ever, based off of the look on his face, I could in fact tell that he was in fact being for real with just what it was that he had even said to me, never the less. I kind of just grunted a bit to my self, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to nod to him, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I did in fact do as such a thing like that, it was clear to the both of us that I had in fact made it clear, and I had in fact made it obvious that I was in fact paying my full attention as to just what it was that he was even about to say to me, never the less, at that.
As I kind of just stood there, and I stared at him for just a little while longer, I then in the end, did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I did in fact begin to start to hear him begin to start to go on ahead and speak to me finally. I did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact even have to say to me, all at the exact same time as well. I let out a bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self, all at once, as soon as it was that he had in fact begin to start to do as such a thing like that.
"Well I appreciate this... I promise I'll give you back some thing in return at some point..." He said to me, all at the exact same time as well, as I could tell that though he did in fact kind of have a look of guilt on his face, as it seemed like he felt bad about the fact that he was wasting my time, and that he was in fact worrying me quite a bit. He did in fact crack a little bit of a smile on his face, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
I was not all too sure as to just what it was that he had said to me, or the strange little smile that he had in his face right now, did in fact begin to start to make me smile back at him, all at the exact same time too. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was even happy with right now, if I was in fact not going to lie to my self either, as I felt like I did in fact need to go on ahead, and I did in fact need to just get my mind, and my focus on just what it was that I knew that I should in fact even be doing right now.
As I did in fact kind of begin to start to continue to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, I then in the end, did in fact begin to start to look away from him all of the sudden. I knew that I just needed to get in side, and get some sleep, as I had a lot in my head right now, that felt like it was suffocating me. It really was in fact wearing me out if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I could in fact say for a fact, never the less.
As I kind of just did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, I then did in fact begin to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once. I kind of just did in fact begin to start to squint my eyes, all at once, I then did in fact begin to start to shake my head a little bit to my self all of the sudden, all at once, at that. I began to start to put the keys in to the door lock, all at the exact same time as well, just as it was that I was trying to do long before all of this, none the less.
It felt a bit weird having a guy in my house, much less to stay the night at that, none the less. Though, I felt like I was too nice of a person to leave him out in the cold, to get potentially really sick, all at the exact same time too. I knew that I could not just let him be stuck out here in the cold over the night, none the less. I was not like my friend Lenore, but I also knew I was not cold like that, all at the exact same time as well, as I knew that I had to help the poor guy.
I kind of just blinked my eyes, as I then began to start to shake my head a bit to my self, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to shake off all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, never the less. As soon as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at once, that was when I then began to start to nod back to him, all at the exact same time too, as I then began to start to open the door for him, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
As I stood there, and I stared in the open room, all at the exact same time too, I kind of shivered all of the sudden, for some odd reason or another. Though I knew that there was in fact a possibility that some thing could in fact happen to me, I really felt like I was safe as it was right now, and that I needed to calm my self down, all at once, never the less. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was even thinking, nor just what it was that was even going on with me right now, in the very first place any ways, never the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to nod a bit to my self, all at once. I saw that Upton did in fact nod back to me, all at the exact same time too, just as soon as it was that I had done that to my self. It was clear that of course, that he was in fact paying his full attention on to just what it was that I was about to say to him, never the less.
I kind of just stood there, and I stared for a slight bit more time, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I did in fact go right on ahead, and I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to all of the sudden breath in a little bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self, all at once. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to speak to him, all at the exact same time too. I knew that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to him in the very first place any ways, at that.
"Well, you can go on ahead and head on in... The bed room is on the far side of the hall way to the right..." I said to him, all at the exact same time too, as I felt like I wanted to make sure that he was in before it was that I did in fact head in my self, all at the exact same time too. It was never too bad to be too safe, as I felt like I needed to have some sort of way out of this situation, all at the exact same time too, if some thing was in fact to go bad, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as I saw him go on ahead, and he luckily did in fact nod back to me, as it was clear that he had no such sort of evil intent in just what it was that he was even doing right now, all at the exact same time too. In the end, I then did in fact begin to start to head on in with him, all at once, as I then closed the door, and I locked in behind me, all at the exact same time too.
I let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh of some sort of relief to my self, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact get my mind, and I did in fact get my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, never the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, never the less. I then did in fact begin to start to head right over to the hall way, just as it was that I had seen Upton do a few seconds before now, never the less, at that.
As soon as it was that I had in fact seen him do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to poke my head around the hall way, all at once. I just wanted to make sure he was not waiting on me to sneak up on me, all at the exact same time too, never the less. Once again, I felt like I could never be too careful as a woman in a scenario like it was that I was in fact in right now, never the less, at that, as well.
I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self, all of the sudden, once again. As I kind of just stood there, and I did in fact stare there for just a little bit more time, I then all of the sudden did in fact realize that he was in fact not waiting for me in the hall way, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
Once it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to head in to the hall way, all at the exact same time as well. I then began to start to head over to my own bed room, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, at that. I kind of the did in fact get right over to the front door of it, all at the exact same time too.
That was when my heart kid of skipped a beat, as I was not expecting as to just what it was that had happened next, none the less. It was as if I thought that Upton was feeling the same way that I was, all at the exact same time too, which was of course the fact that I felt like I just wanted to get in to bed, and I just wanted to get some sleep, all at the exact same time too. I kind of just did in fact breath in quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, as it was clear that it was not the case.
Upton began to start to speak to me in quite a bit of a loud and a bit of a heavy voice, all at the exact same time too, as it did not seem like he even seemed to notice the bit of a freaked out look that I even had on my face right now, all at the exact same time too. Perhaps he was too tired him self right now, to even notice as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, never the less, once again.
I kind of just stood there, and I did in fact begin to start to shake my head a little bit to my self, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, once again. As I did in fact begin to start to nod back him, all at the exact same time as well. It was clear that once again, I was in fact letting it be known to him, that I was in fact paying my full attention as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, none the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I did in fact begin to start to hear him continue to speak to me all of the sudden. I did in fact do my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact even have to say to me, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
"Well... Good night Amelia... I probably won't see you in the morning... I gotta get up early to get in to my place, then I've got work..." He said to me, all at once, as he blinked his eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too. It seemed like it was even more reassuring that he was in fact not going to try to sneak up in on me, when ever it was that I was in fact asleep, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on with me right now, at that. I kind of just began to start to nod back to him, as a little bit of a response back to him in the end, all at the exact same time as well. It felt a little bit too awkward to wish him a good night back, all at the exact same time too, as we weren't friends, much less relationship partners, all at the exact same time too.
He did not seem to be bothered by it what so ever, nor did he seem to care one bit over as to just what it was that I had in fact done, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to breath in quite a bit of a soft sigh of some relief to my self, all at once, as he then began to start to see him turn his head away from me, all at once.
Once it was that he had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, that was when he then closed the door to the guest room, all at the exact same time too. I kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit of a heavy sigh of some sort of relief to my self, all at once, this time, once again. I then began to start to do the exact same thing that it was that I had just seen him do, all at the exact same time too, as I did in fact begin to start to close the door to my room, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
Just as I had done as such a thing like that, and I felt safe to go to bed, and go to sleep, that was when it then all of the sudden came back to me, all at once, as to the fact that I had in fact been planning on, of course, to go right on ahead, and I was in fact trying to lock the door to my room. Even if it was that I felt like I was safe, I also could not help but to remember some thing that my father had once told me, never the less.
That was of course the fact that he had said the most manipulative people were the ones that did not act like they were, none the less. I felt like I could never be too safe, if I was not going to lie to my self either, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I did in fact walk over to it, a of the sudden. Just as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, never the less, that was when I then all of the sudden lock the door, all at once, once again.
I breathed in quite a bit of another bit of a heavy sigh of some relief to my self, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to speak to my self, all at the exact same time too. It was like I could not use my thoughts in my own head right now to calm my self down, at that. It seemed like I had to say it out loud to my self, to try to keep my self calm, never the less.
"C'mon Amelia... You can never be too safe..."
