-Midnight's POV-
When I woke up, everything was a little clearer. I don't think I've ever seen the world in this perspective. I felt my head, and my nose. Everything was healed, it shouldn't have healed that fast. I rolled over, and could tell by the layout that I was in Dagger's house. He wasn't in the room, probably didn't even know I was awake. I sat up, I felt more energized then I have in a long time. I got up and climbed out the window. Whatever he did, he still wasn't forgiven, he hasn't explained to me why he ran away. He's hiding something, and I don't like that. The one friend I have, and they decide to keep secrets from me.
I rolled out of the bed, ignoring the fact that I was in shorts and a tank top and it was raining, and climbed out the window. I wasn't a long fall, but it should've hurt at least a little bit. The ground was wet from the rain water, and I sloshed through mud and puddles. I walked back home. It was that kind of time where, even me, wanted to be home.
I opened the door, and saw my dad passed out with his head down on the table, and my mother no where. Guess she had a "job" to do.
I walked up to my room, and changed my clothes. Today is just the kind of sweatpants and lazy day.
As the day went by, I found myself writing on my walls, and writing in my journal, and just writing. I began to wonder what exactly happened that I healed so fast, and the pain in my neck, and why he always looked like he wanted to keep a distance from me. Time for research.
