-Midnight's POV-

The next few days were terrible. I watched, and waited, and wrote notes. I hate doing work but it was worth trying to figure out what had happened. I wanted to know everything about him. Why he was different. How he knew where I was. More importantly, what he was. There was so many questions, so many answers I wanted, I just don't even know how to explain it.

The next few days at school sucked. They just plained out sucked.

"Where's you boyfriend, or did he smart up and leave." Stefanie would call to me when I walked into school alone.

I learned to just ignore her, and just go on my way. I went back to my normal routine, I sat at the tree, I spent all my time alone, I traveled to the brooke.

A few days had gone by, and I was just about to leave home to walk to school, when I saw that familiar black car parked in the driveway. I ran upstairs and sat on my bed and cried. He was back.

As I set upstairs and cried, the window came open. I looked up because I was going to close it,  and there he was...standing at the foot of my bed.

"Look Midnight, I'm sorry, let me explain...there is so much for me to explain. I can't stop hiding this from you. But you have to promise me that you will never ever tell anybody, no matter how mad I make you at times, or how upset you get. Not even when the weight is to much to bear. But you have to know."

I crossed my legs and looked up with unforgiving eyes.

"This better be good." I said, practically whispered.

"Midnight, I'm....I'm a vampire."

I was stunned, that's not what you hear from someone all the time. That's not normal.

"So that's why you left. I want to know everything, no more secrets."
