Need To Know Basis

-Dagger's POV-

"Well, all that you need to know is that you will have to see the Specials. They will let you know everything, but right now you are on a need to know basis. All you need to know is that: you can not let anyone know, you must NOT feed on humans...yet, and you need to learn to control you Elements. The Specials will teach you to control your elements, and how to hunt effectively, if you chose to feed on humans. Other than that, people must not know. You need to realize that now that you know whaty you are, you are a child of the night. Once you feed on a human, if chosen to, the sun will weaken you. It won't kill you like in the movies. We are not sterotypical vampires. We are Raised."

She looked at me with those gray eyes. They show her mood, but contain to many secrets. Know that she knows, she will learn how to keep her head up in this world, knowing that she will never die. Once she turns 17, ageing ends for her.

-Midnight's POV-

All this knowledge was almost to much to bear, but if I am a vampire, or an Untouched Soul, than I think I'll have time to cope.

"When will we see the Specials?" That was the only thing I wanted to know. When.

"We will have to send a Messenger. We can't just get up and leave, we will be thrown out and our voice will not be heard until a formal greeting from the Specials. Everything has rules, but you will soon learn."

"What's a Messenger?"

"A Messenger is like the mailman of the vampire world...well not the vampire world, we are the world between the seams. Not just vampires,there are other species. He will take the letter or message to the Specials, and they will send a formal greeting back. Like David Rawl at school. He is a Messenger, he will be the one to deliver it."

David Rawl, I knew he left to often but he always said that his parents took him on trips. I never thought he was a Messenger, much less a vampire. Turns out the world between the seams was just out of my sight, but surrounded me.
