-Dagger's POV-
Ahh, new school again...god, it will never end. One last check in the mirror, damn my eyes catch me every time, bright green. One good flip of the hair, that sends my black hair over to the side.
"Freak"
"Loser"
"Cutter"
What the hell is going on. I casually get out of my car, and then I freeze. The most beautiful girl is walking to a tree. She must be the one that all the insults are aimed at. A gorgeous girl like that can't sit all by herself.
"Hey sexy, you new here?" A blonde girl calls to me. She's not ugly, but she's definatly not my type.
No, my type is sitting all by herself by a tree.
"Is this seat taken?"
-Midnight's POV-
I was caught off gaurd, mumbling to myself. I look up to see who the questioner was...I mean, who would want to talk to me? But as I gaze at the face talking to me, I am in awestruck...why would someone so beautiful want to talk to me. Those eyes are...are hypnotizing...a reziliant green.
"Uhh...no...uhhh...sure let me move my stuff."
"Thanks, I'm Dagger, I'm new here."
"I could tell...somebody with a name like that you just don't forget....uh...my name's Midnight."
"Midnight....you can't say much about names, your's isn't common either. So, why are you sitting over here...all by yourself?"
"The question is, why isn't somebody yelling a name at me? Sitting by myself, that's nothing different...going without riticule,...that's a whole nother story."
"So your who all those names were directed to, i figured as much, a girl, who dresses in black must be a cutter, right."
"Ya, I guess, it doesn't bother me much anymore, no friends is kinda my thing."
"No friends? What are you talking about? You've got me."
Now I was stumped, why would somebody new want to be my friend?
"No, your fresh meat, the girls are going to love you. Don't let being my friend out of pity ruin your life here."
I was taken surprised when he put his arms on the tree, pinning me to it, with his face just and inch or two away. I could smell his breathe, it was sweet, and his eyes were even more captivating.
"Who said it was out of pity?"
His voice just wanted to make me melt. I pushed him to the side, and found it was surprisingly tough...but I managed.
"Don't bother"
It took all my will not to turn around and run back to him, but I can't ruin his life.
"Wait!"
I kept on walking, and instead of walking to class, I walked right into the woods, and to my secret spot where I knew he couldn't find me if he tried..
