Humpty Dumpty

You put me back together, but you didn't do it right.
There are still pieces of me inside of you, I want them back.

I'm all broken and shattered,
Like my glass heart.
But we know it wasn't my fault.

You're the one that put it back together again. But you didn't do it right.

I'm all broken and shattered like the love we used to have. For one another.
But you don't love me. You love another.

All the kings horses, along with their men, couldn't ever put me back together again.
You put me back together. But you didn't do it right.

There's still pieces of me inside of you. Those pieces you took without asking if it were ok first.
We both know you can't give them back.
I still want them back though.

You put me back together.
So why do I still feel broken?, why can't you hold me together the way you used to.
You put me back together, but you didn't do it right.

My glass heart, broken like our bond.
Until she came along, and she picked up the pieces.
She put me back together. And she did it right.
