Let me ask you a question'dear'
Am I just a puppet to you.
Am I just a joke?
They ways you men speak about me, honestly you deserve to choke.
I am not a toy.
I am not a baby machine.
I know you're just a boy.
But by god must you be so mean?!
The body that I own,
Yes the body that I OWN
Will always belong to me.
I'm a woman not a pawn.
You don't know the pain I suffer.
The pain we suffer on the daily.
You've never been raped and then forced to carry and raise a parasite.
I didn't realise the womb I was born with, in actuality belonged to you?
At the end of the day, it should be my choice. Not yours, it's my body.
It's my body.
It's my choice.
Why must an unborn life mean more to you than my own.
Author's Note:My heart goes out to anyone and everyone affected by the law against abortion that was passed in the US. I sincerely hope the best for everyone who may now be forced to carry a baby they don't want/can't afford and to anyone who may be punished for getting rid of an unborn clump of cells, you are not a criminal. You are as valid and should be respected the way every single woman should be.
