She looked unsure but evidently nodded after the sweet smile she got from Brie. 'Thank you baby.'

I gave her a quick kiss on the head and ran off to get ready. I did notice what looked like Rose on the way though, and I couldn't help the small excitement that built in me, knowing they'd meet soon.

Now:
After Liz- Mama ran off I was a bit unsure of what to do. I really had to go to the bathroom and the lady, Brie, I think was gonna take me. She looked nice and I kinda recognized her from earlier but I still wasn't too excited for her to be replacing Lizzie.

I think most people would say I've developed some form of separation anxiety or is it sedative anxiety. I'm not sure but it was something like that. Anyways, as much as they're probably right, I'd like to think of it more as finally feeling comfortable in my home. Huh, that's kinda weird to think about. I guess I do have a home now and more importantly I have a mommy well kinda.

After Scarly and I'd talk earlier I thought about what I'd like to call Lizzie. I mean she is technically my mother. I came to the conclusion that when the time comes I'll call her my Mama. I'm just not sure when I'll be ready. It's scary to have someone to look after you after feeling alone your whole life and I wasn't prepared to have someone as incredible as Mama so dealing that deal in a way and committing to my new life, if I even had a life before, I'd a little frightening.

I guess I didn't realize that Brie had walked us to the bathrooms but she let go of my hand and started to lean down to my level.

'Alright, sweetheart, the bathroom is right through that door. You don't need my help do you?' She asked.

Although I would normally have Lizzie help me, mainly because I can't reach the since, I didn't feel like asking for help from someone I just met. Even if they're friends with Lizzie and Scarly, I don't know if I can trust them. Plus, it's embarrassing. I mean I'm eight, I can do this. Right?

I shook my head and she asked if I wanted her to stay outside for me to which I declined again. So, instead, she guided my attention to an area not crazy far away where some people stood talking and working. She explained that she'd be just over there and when I finished to come over and we'd go see Mama working. I nodded my head not really paying my complete attention to her words but went into the bathroom nonetheless.

The bathroom was a simple single stall bathroom, so I locked the door and went on to do my business before cleaning myself up and heading to the sink. I was happy to find a step stool so I pushed it over and stepped up, washing my hands thoroughly, before jumping off and pushing it back with my foot. I dried my hands off and turned the handle of the door walking back out.

I looked up expecting to see Brie in the distance as she had explained to my slightly zoned out state. However I was horrified to realize that there were now a lot more people than I remembered and things were being moved all over the place. I tried looking at the spot I was pointed towards earlier but instead I found a rack of what seemed to be costumes conveniently located in the way.

I couldn't help the panic that began to bubble in my stomach as I turned in all directions searching for something familiar and evidently coming up with nothing. I quickly came to the conclusion that you would have to move from my stance right outside the bathrooms.

Slowly, I took a few steps away moving closer and closer to all the chaos of people rushing around with all sorts of stuff. I didn't make it far before everything started.
