You and Daniel are spending a night out. Out of the craziness of fans attacking him. Out of the paparazzi stalking you two. Out of reality for just a while. Daniel and you have been dating for about three years and have been through thick and thin. You guys are best friends and nothing will change that.
Daniel pulls his silver convertible up on the top of the tallest mountain and turns off the engine. The stars are shining bright. Almost as bright as Daniel's eyes looking at you. He smiles from ear to ear as he places his hand on top of yours. He closes his eyes, raises his head up towards the sky, and sighs.
"It's nice to get away from all the craziness." He whispers. You nod in agreement and look up at the stars.
He pushes his head back down from facing the sky and looks at you. He reaches over the hand rest and kisses you on the cheek.
"You know. This is my favorite thing in the entire world."
You giggle. He's so cute when he gets into his phases of loving nature.
"I know the stars are so bright and it's so peaceful." You reply.
It's silent for moments. You think Daniel dosed off. He did have a long day at the studio and had been stressed all week. But you didn't mind. Just being with him made things all better.
"You know I'm not talking about where we are right?" Daniel laughs.
You're so confused you slap his arm and reply "what?"
"My favorite thing in the entire world is you. Being with you is the best thing in my life." He whispers into your ear.
"These stars up here don't shine half as bright as my girl." He smiles.
You feel a rush of happiness overcome you like a tidal wave and you just sit there in amazement about what an amazing boyfriend you have.
"And. I think. I think I'm in love with you." He whispers.
It's not light enough to see the small tears flowing down his face, but you know they're there.
"I actually. I actually know I'm in love with you." He corrects.
With that you grab his hand and kiss him hard and long.
"I know I love you Daniel Seavey. I always have and always will." You reply.
