The Mzimelas are persistent, that much I'll give them. I received an email stating that they were aware I was out of town and contract negotiations will be on Wednesday ( It's Saturday today).

The drive back is bitter sweet, I worry about gogo, the people around her are not very responsible but she will hear nothing of it.

She doesn't even like visiting her siblings in the Eastern Cape or my aunt who's been begging her to visit in Cape Town.
The past few days have been amazing, sure I've gained weight from all her cooking but it was needed
As it is my car is full of ice cream containers that have everything from ujege/mbhako( traditional bread and dumpling) stamp, imifino(zulu version of spinach and when done right, tastes like love) and sweet potato/ yam.

It's enough to last 2 weeks. Luckily the security guards at my complex are always there to help me eat, because I prefer food fresh

Upon arriving, something feels off with my furniture, nothing is missing but someone was here. No doubt it was Lindzy stealing a top or coat.

Never the less, I move the furniture about as the Feng shui is slightly off and clean again, even though I had done so before leaving.
My OCD is out of hand, but who's gonna stop me?
I go through the 4 page contract again, and the NDA that comes with it.
It states I'll be the executive assistant to the MH Holdings executives ( the Mzimela brothers) and act as an intermediary between their 3 different roles.

Google didn't do justice as I only realise now how big the whole operation is. MH Pty ltd has a conglomerate of businesses under it.

*First are the 2 hotels (one in Jhb and the other in Cpt), 2 supermarkets, and 2 Petrol Stations in Joburg, a Lodge and villas scattered between Mpumalanga and Limpopo. All Headed by Zigi the eldest brother

* 2nd is the construction/property development company that specialises in corporate buildings, Lifestyle estates public infrastructure. They also built the Stations, hotel and stuff. Headed by Phakamile (rude pothead, middle child)

*lastly is the newest venture they've started, the Logistics company with 9 Trucks, 18 private bakkies (delivery vans) and 2 warehouses, headed by Nsizwa

The job description includes, occasionally travelling with them, booking flights and accommodations, being informed on executive decisions/ movements, mitigating between the 3 brothers, the clients, shareholders and the department heads that work for them especially the PR and marketing department.

From what I can conclude, people will report to me and I convey the message to them and vice versa.
The hours are slightly vague as it states I can work from any of the offices or lodges if needed.
Comes with basic Medical and Pension, a Petrol Card, access to a company car, company cellphone, as well as 20 days annual leave.
It is more than I had expected on top of the offer of R40000 before deductions salary.

The fact that I can negotiate even higher is the freaky part, but I'll try my luck and see if they could add another 10K to it. I'll need Lindzy's advice on how to negotiate

My current salary at the insurance company is 18k after deductions and usually I make about 12K driving taxiezy, and the podcast doesn't pay at all.

The NDA seems pretty standard, not that I would know any different. Part of me feels like I should get a lawyer to go through it but what the hell? All I have to do is keep my mouth shut, that's all. That and the fact that there's a social media clause, stating I should never show/mention where I work. It's fine by me, because I'm not good with being a present figure on social media, 10 of my followers are my mother's drinking buddies and the rest are people who know someone that knows me
