It's been 2 weeks since the awards, Nsizwa and I had a short conversation and he explained he had nothing to do with it. I believe him and he didn't have to explain or apologize for anything

He mentioned that he and Phakamile handled Nathi and that he won't bother me ever again.
I refuse to believe they had something to do with his accident but even if they did, he's still alive so it's fine.

Zigi also apologised with a cute gift card that had R5000 grocery voucher to the family supermarket
It's Phakamile that I haven't spoken to, even though he still has my car and I'm driving the R8 now.
He has been working out the office since the awards, and it feels like he's ignoring me, the calls and emails are always work related.

"What's going on with you?" Zigi asks and I see Phakamile also giving me a questioning stare, how do I even explain myself.
Sure in my defence, this cake was only meant for Nsizwa to have but now Peanut is half way done with

"Nothing, sanibona", I greet and hear a murmur of responses here or there

"Are you feeling okay, you look weird"- Zigi asks

"I feel funny too" Mkhulu says holding his head.

Mkhulu and I have gotten close in the past few months
somehow I now drive Peanut to school every morning and drop him off after, after care so I speak and see Mkhulu daily now.
We really hit it off.
I never knew any of my grandfathers and lost my father young, so just his mere presence is nice to have and he's just amazing to be around he's like a little kid but somehow very wise.

I haven't seen Phakamile in 2 full weeks and here he is now, staring me down as I've drugged his grandfather and nephew.
What shit luck.

"I'll get you water and painkillers Khulu", I say as I rush to the kitchen, the sauce is burning, who switched it back on?
There isn't enough food for 4 people let alone the 5 that's now looking at me funny.

Unfortunately Nsizwa's house is open plan, and I see them looking at me when I cover my head mattering 'oh my god' 'what have I done'

"Did something happen while you were out?" Phakamile asks as he types something into his phone

"No I'm just a little hot, it's hot isn't it" I say switching the stove off and going to the toilet to think, forgetting to give the old man water

Peanut is still staring at his iPad, it's like he doesn't know I'm here.

When Nsizwa got into his accident on Monday (he was drifting with the forklift, lost control of it and crashed into a shipping container( I know, I was just as dissapointed when I found out)

Worst of all it was after hours and the stuff had left, he had to crawl to his phone to call for help
I wasn't sure what to get him, every time I went to see him at the hospital, he seems like a typical guy.
I knew flowers weren't going to work because when I went to the hospital on Tuesday, there were flowers everywhere, he even asked that I take some home

He has all the money in the world so what could I possibly get him.
He has been home for 2 days now and the idea came to me last night when I got high after work.
I used the just add milk/eggs already 'mixed' baking flour (because I can't bake from scratch)
It's Saturday and I had nothing better to do, so I baked the cake with 50 grams of weed.

It's a fairly small cake with 6 more cupcakes. The plan was to visit for an hour or 2 then go hang out with Noxolo for dinner.
When I got here, he claimed he hadn't had a home cooked meal in a while and asked that I make him pap with any type of meat.
