It's just before 3am when we arrive, hard to tell how pretty the villa is but I've seen enough pictures to know Lindzy is going to lose his mind in the morning when he sees it properly.
The Bentley that Phakamile drove earlier is also here, it's quiet when we get in but the lights and fireplace are still on

Nsizwa shows us to our rooms and Lindzy is on the far end at the opposite wing.
I'm not comfortable with that, as Nsizwa leaves the suitcases in my supposed room asking Lindzy to follow him.
Lindzy and I insist it's okay we'll share because that's what we do naturally

"That won't be necessary, there's more than enough room but you can keep Zenande if you like", Phakamile's husky raspy voice sounds deeper than normal catching all of us by surprise

Oh so it's not just me he does this to, Lindzy is instantly nervous and awkward but Nsizwa is more bored than anything.

Lindzy rushes to take the grey suitcase and walks out without a single word, what the hell, we were meant to catch up.
How does he manage to scare everyone without doing or saying anything threatening.
Nsizwa follows Lindzy out with a simple

'Goodnight'

"Do you need anything" Phakamile asks after they leave as I'm tucking Peanut in and taking his jacket off

Clearly the job description includes being a nanny.
I tell this man no and he goes on to say, he is right next door, and that there's water in the mini bar that I hadn't even noticed.
He seems earnest, stating that I should let him know if I need anything else. From Scary Intimidating boss man to genuine polite human in a split second. Lord give me strength when dealing with this man

Dealing with extremely wealthy people is awkward, there's no frame of reference to compare the experience with.
Is this behaviour really normal, I feel controlled but somehow don't mind, just this room alone is bigger than my 2 bedrooms combined.
Everything is neatly folded and the sliding doors lead to a jacuzzi overlooking the nature reserve, which I'm too tired to see or appreciate.
I make Peanut pee before going to bed, his lovely small smile is worth it when he realises that it's me and I hold him as I sleep.

"Mana"

"Hi baby"

"Hi" I can barely hear him as we snuggle and let sleep have us.

Lindzy is living his best life, he woke up at 5:00 and went for the game drive with Peanut, Mkhulu, bab'Mzimela and Danso, all I did was get Peanut ready then Lindzy took over the nanny duties.

They went for breakfast and then the spa and since I woke up after 11 all that was left to do was take pictures with the new cubs.
Nsizwa's meeting with the emirates went well and he may secure the deal so I spend the day working and coordinating everything that he may need from the reports sent from different departments.

It's really beautiful out here, I'm by the pool side over looking the dam.
There are 6 other private villas scattered around but I can't see them with the trees around.
The Lodge is slightly visible on top of the hill but I haven't had the time to see it as well, mostly because I woke up to an empty Villa and don't want to walk all the way there.
I found a closed tray with a variety of breakfast foods when I woke up, so at least I'm fed in my loneliness
So far I've only seen a herd of elephants drinking water but they did mention the best time to see the animals is early morning or in the evening.

"You do know, you're not here to work right?" The rasp husk never fails to take me by surprise

I thought I was alone in the villa, he places a bottle of water on my sunbed, he has a whisky glass in hand, Bathong I also want liquor
