Certain Village
Outskirts Yan
"Hmm... Looks like I missed her."
A lone female with long white hair styled in a ponytail with red highlights that matches her horns, sighs as she gazes at the wooden buildings being engulfed in flames that illuminates the surroundings, with black silhouettes on fire littered on the ground. She idly reaches into a pocket of her coat, bringing out a wrapped chocolate bar and a compass.
She unwraps the bar and takes a bite of it as she looks at the compass. She moves the compass left and right before grumbling to herself as she sees the arrow staying in one direction.
"Stupid thing. Won't work when you want it but work when you least expect it."
The female sighs as she finishes off the chocolate in one bite while idly putting the compass back into her pocket. She starts to walk away from the burning buildings without another glance to it.

Doctor Ashura's Room
Inside Rhodes Island
"Finally! I can rest in my own room now!" Ashura, wearing a simple blue t-shirt with black pants, tiredly yells as he collapses on to his bed after a full day of exploring most of Rhodes Island's important facility.
The room is sparse from any decorations of the sort, only having a bed with 2 pillows, closet, and desk near the bed.
"...How did he live like this?" He mutters as he holds the round pillow up to his face.
"Doctor Ashura, are you in there?" A muffled sound comes from the door, making him groan as he lets go of the pillow which lands on his face.
He sighs while getting up from the bed to walk over to the door, opening up to reveal the living room that is sparse of any decoration too, only with the basic furniture of an average family home, while the kitchen is near the entrance with the divider wall between kitchen and living room is horizontally cut, making that the people can see what the cook is cooking.
"Doctor Ashura?" The voice calls again from the entrance while knocking.
"Hold on..." Ashura annoyedly calls out as he shambles to the door, opening it to see Kal'tsit on the other side.
"...Hello?" He blinks, perplexed, as he sees that Kal'tsit has her eyes closed.
"May I come in?" She politely says while directing her face at where she assumes Ashura to be.
"Erm... You're looking past me... But sure... Make yourself at home." Ashura shakes his head before quickly moving to the side in order to avoid colliding with Kal'tsit. He sighs before closing the door, but winces as he hears a thud from behind him.
"Ow..." Kal'tsit rubs her knees as she sits on the floor due to the fact that she didn't notice a claymore sword leaning on to the wall near the hallway. She opens her eyes to see blood starting to ooze out from her wound, making her let out a silent curse.
"You ok there?" Ashura cautiously asks while carefully walking up to her, making her turn to look at him with a glare.
"Say anything about this-" She cuts herself off to close her eyes, "Forget about this accident."
"Ok...? Also, I have my eyes closed too, by the way."
"...I will castrate you if you are lying to me." She cautiously opens her eyes bit by bit, until she fully opens them once she sees that Ashura has kept his words.
"Please don't. You're my boss and all but I will go on a strike if you do."
"...What?"
"Never mind." He sighs while moving past her, almost hitting her leg, making her let out a hiss.
