"Ahhh~! Finally finished my latest work!"

A female with shoulder-length light peach hair, wearing a light orange big hat that has holes to let out her cat ears, stretches as she gets up from her chair. She takes a quick glance to look at the book in front of her then smiles.

"This will be my greatest work! Oh yeah..." She mutters then slowly rummages around her body, "Where is it... I know that I still got it on me..."

She stops then slowly takes out a letter from her small bag, "Ah ha! Found you... Now time to go send this to Rhodes Island... Hopefully Kal is doing well there..."

"Arghhh!"

Ashura shouts as he grips his head, the pain assaulting his head worse than usual, then he feels multiple hands all over his body. He vaguely hears Kal'tsit and others but the pain makes it hard to focus on who else is there.

The pain gradually goes away, prompting him to slowly open his eyes and lift his head from his curled position, only to see the multitude of eyes looking at him with concern. He flinches then looks away.

"Ash – Doctor, are you sure you're ok to lead the mission? Or –" Amiya worryingly says as she looks around before feeling a hand on her shoulder. She glances to see Kal'tsit shaking her head.

"Amiya, it is his side effect acting up again. It should go away soon enough... Though we should heal him in case he hurts himself due to the fall."

Ashura sharply turns his head to look at Kal'tsit, prompting her to blink while taking her hand off of Amiya, though he soon softens his eyes as he remembers the excuse he and Kal'tsit made to cover up in case he makes eye contact with a soulmate, or in this case, soulmates, "I'm fine. And... It's embarrassing if I got healed over falling like a small box." He slowly gets up, even though the others, mainly Melantha and Fang, try to stop him and check if there is any injury.

"See? I feel fine now." He spreads his arms, as if to really say that he is fine, yet the others, now Kal'tsit, Nearl, Shining, who entered the room just in time to see him falling, Melantha, and Fang look unsure, prompting him to sigh, "...Alright. Heal me... Please."

Shining lifts her staff then uses her Arts, briefly engulfing him in yellow light then quickly dissipating. He lets out a sigh of relief as he feels the lingering pain from the fall disappearing.

"Thank you... And, um, we kinda need to address the crowd..." He rubs the back of his head as he awkwardly looks around, prompting for the rest to do the same and see that the rest of the operators are looking at them.

Kal'tsit lets out a loud cough to get everybody's attention, "What happened just now was due to a side effect that acted up. Rest assured, that the side effect will not cause any problem during the mission." She narrows her eyes then looks at each of them, as if daring them to ask.

The rest of the operators look unconvinced, yet choose to remain silent, for now. Kal'tsit takes one last look at them then turns her attention back to Ashura, "How many meat soup did you eat before coming here?"

He blinks, while the others raise an eyebrow at the weird and sudden question from Kal'tsit, though he soon widens his eyes as he remembers that is the code phrase meant for how many soulmates, "Ah. Um, I didn't have any."

Kal'tsit nods then turns to look away while Nearl opens her mouth to say something yet closes it as she sees Blaze coming to them, along with Meteorite, Firewatch, the female with butt-length blonde hair and fox ears, the female with neck-length pink hair that is mostly hidden by her blue hood, and the female with shoulder-blade length white hair and wearing a hat that has fox ears sticking out. All of them sport complicated or grave expressions as they stop.

Ashura blinks as he sees the new group coming, then turns to fully face them, "...Hello?" He slightly waves at them, prompting the female with pink hair to look away with her cheeks slightly red while the female with white hair pulls down her hat, a wooly hat that got the letters KEE across and headphones attached, to slightly cover her eyes.

Blaze narrows her eyes at him then scoffs, "That friendly act of yours won't fool me, Doctor." Her fingers twitch, "I suggest for you to drop it."

Melantha steps in between them with a slightly angry look, "B-Blaze! Don't be –"

Ashura puts his hand on her shoulder, prompting her to flinch then glance back to see him looking right at her, "Melantha, it's fine. I most likely deserve it."

Melantha opens her mouth to say something but Blaze lets out a loud scoff, "Hah. Playing the understanding guy card? What next, will you sacrifice her like you did with her?"

Everybody in Ashura side glares at Blaze, some of them even slowly lifting their weapon. Seeing their actions, Ashura quickly responds in order to prevent a bloodbath of team killing.

"Look... Blaze? It looks like you were a part of the operators I took with before? In that case, I know that I don't deserve any forgiveness from you or the others but the previous Doctor had already died."

Seeing the unchanging face of Blaze, he sighs, "...The operation will begin in a few moments. I will prove to you that I am not the same Doctor you once knew."

Blaze's facial expression shows a slight crack, "...Sure. And I hope that you will know what will happen if you fail." She turns around then walks away, slightly shoving the others that came with her away.

Ashura lets out a long sigh then turns to look at the rest, "Are you here to...?" He uses his head to gesture at Blaze.

The pink haired female rapidly shakes her head, "U-um, n-no... We, I mean I, came here because... Doctor fell... And I'm Operator Blue Poison."

He slowly nods, "Ah... Alright. How about you four...?"

Meteorite shrugs, "Same reason as Operator Blue Poison. Call me Operator Meteorite. Oh and she." She points at Firewatch, who boredly looks at them, "Is Operator Firewatch. She is a bit shy."

Firewatch glances at her then rolls her eyes. Then the white haired female nods, "Same with them. Operator Frostleaf and don't worry about me being hostile to you since you never picked me."

The blonde haired female smiles, "Well, I guess that re-introduction is in order. Operator Breeze, a traveling scholar from Toron County. I would say it is a pleasure to meet you but I used to deal with the injured operators of your operations."

Ashura awkwardly chuckles, "...Is that so? I apologize for what I said before."

Breeze shakes her head, "I don't need your apologies. All I need is for you to not repeat your decisions."

He opens his mouth but Kal'tsit cuts him off, "It is time." She takes out her radio, "All operators, enter the vehicles now." Her voice echoes the room, sending all of the operators into a frenzy, along with the ones surrounding him.

He shrugs then follows after Kal'tsit, "...Shut up, Ata. How the hell do you even know what a pentakill means...?" He bewilderedly mutters to himself while keeping pace with Kal'tsit.
