A giant size creature that resembles a fish screams as it falls down to the ground with slash marks littering all over its body.

A pale silver haired woman, wearing a hat, walks up to the creature with her long hair coated in bluish liquid. Her ruby eyes idly scans the body before she brings down her huge claymore into its head, making it twitch before nothing.

"Back to Rhodes Island..." Her blank voice echoes throughout the cave as she walks into the darkness.

Doctor Ashura's Room
Inside Rhodes Island

"...So, correct me if I'm wrong; basically, you were a soul that had been wandering through... Something of vast emptiness, whatever, and that an old man chose you as his entertainment since his last one died. The... "Soulmates" is something he made that would "Spice up" his entertainment and that you are the first one to have picked the number 100... And since Doctor Ashura... Was similar to you and was... Dying, he threw you to this world to possess his body? Am I correct?"

"Well, you forgot about me feeling like I was submerged in something, having no important memory of my previous life, Atalanta here apparently came from a popular game of my previous world, and that the soulmates thing is basically the shitty old man brain washing; casting a spell; whatever the fuck he did to make them fall in love with me... With um... Consequences if I ever reject them..."

"...And it only works if eye contact is established."

"Yep."

Kal'tsit looks at Ashura, then to Atalanta, then to her mug filled with coffee. She downs the drink in one go without spilling a drop and gets up to walk over to a coffee dispenser to get more coffee.

At 0800 hours, Kal'tsit had appeared in front of Ashura's door with the coffee dispenser on hand, saying it is her way of apologizing before shoving it into Ashura's hand and moving to the side. Rhodes Island's workers move past her and him then get to work on repairing all of the damages inside of the room.

After 30 minutes, the room looks good as new with no sign that a fight had ever occurred with Atalanta appearing just as the workers were moving out.

Kal'tsit sits down on the sofa after getting her refill and sets it down on the coffee table. She takes a deep breathe, exhales, then glares at him, though there is no heat in them.

"Please tell me that this is all just a prank. Please," She begs with an earnest look.

"...Sorry?" Ashura awkwardly says as he scratches his beard. Atlanta notices it and points.

"Thou should cut it."

"What? No. I like playing with it, makes me look like those old wizards."

"...Childish."

"Sue me."

Kal'tsit's eyes slowly dim as she gazes at them bickering before grabbing her cup and downing it in one go once again. She roughly puts it down with a clank, which causes them to flinch and stop their bickering to look at her.

"Ok. Ok. Explain to me about the whole personality change thing while I am still able to process." She massages her head while asking.

Ashura clears his throat while subtlety glancing to Atalanta, who responds in kind, then he says, "So, from what the old man said; the soulmates will have their personality, erm, influenced? Or added a line, or something to their personality, that makes them love their soulmate, though the male will be slower than the female and if the person has a higher willpower, then they can resist the effect to a certain extent... I think."
