The Exception (Narry)

January 12th

Harry didn't come to school today. His tumor was giving him terrible headaches so it was best for him to just stay home. Of course I wanted to stay with him but he refused to let me. He told me that I needed to focus on school and my future, but I don't care for either of those at this point in time. I only cared about him and his future.

Anne promised she would keep me informed though and asked if I could collect all the homework and extra tasks he needed. Of course I didn't mind but my day did feel duller without him around.

Walking through the yard felt strange and foreign especially once I got to the front entrance of the school. People who I had never even spoken to me before were staring. I guess the news about Harry had finally made its way around the school. Some of them would give me sympathetic looks but I only shook my head. I don't want sympathy.

I missed my friends...Laura, Louis and Zayn. Laura nad I barely speak anymore and I really miss her but she has Louis now and I have Harry.

"Niall!" and before I had a second to even comprehend to the situation I found myself on the ground and my best friend, who I hadn't seen what felt like forever, had seated herself on top of me.

"Hi!" I grinned happily.

It felt good to be back in her presence..she made me forget for a moment about Harry.

"Oh gosh Niall! Guy's it's Niall, he's finally resurrected from the dead" She wrapped her arms tightly around my neck.

I couldn't help but smile as I wrapped my arms tightly around us. Louis and Zayn had been standing behind her both with huge grins on their faces.

"Boy, is it good to see you" Louis greeted me with a fist pump and Zayn just continued to smile like the shy child he is. "It's been pretty boring around here"

"Oh really?" I chuckled quietly, taking Zayn's hand as he helped me back onto my feet.

"Yeah really, I had to put up with Louis and Laura's lovey dovey shit" Zayn smiled as Laura hit his arm playfully.

"You're just jealous Malik" She poked her tongue out at him.

"Jealous?" Zayn laughed, bending over as he tried to exaggerate his laughter "Oh gosh Loz, you make me laugh"

Laura only rolled her eyes, giving him the finger as she took Louis hand and walked off. I only laughed, shaking my head at them.

"She's a bit of a laugh" Zayn chuckled from beside me, smiling fondly at the girl who was walking away. She turned around and gave him a small wave. He blushed softly, biting his lip as he looked down at the ground smiling slightly.

"Wait, oh gosh, Don't tell me you have a thing for Laura!" I looked at him widening my eyes.

What the actual fuck.

He didn't respond, simply just shrugged his shoulders and headed in another direction. Zayn had a thing for Laura? I just couldn't imagine it..I mean aren't Louis and Laura like the power couple? I didn't think about it much more after that and headed in the direction of my first class room.

"I miss you already." I sighed into the phone, running my hand through my hair as I shut my locker door. "School has been horrible so far, I definitely did not miss this place."

"Aw boo, You're almost all done for the day and then you can come visit me" I could almost picture the wide grin my boyfriend had on his face.

His gorgeous face.

"I guess..just have to get through Science" I groaned causing Harry to chuckle through the phone, my heart practically melting.

"Just think of your sex god boyfriend waiting at home for all of your cuddle and kisses" He replied, my cheeks burning up.

"That will definitely help" I smiled, resting up against the locker.

"I love you Niall" He spoke quietly "more than you could ever imagine"

"I love you too Harry, more than you could ever imagine" I smiled more "I should probably head to class"

He groaned "But I like listening to your voice"

"I know baby, I'll see you soon, okay?"

"Okay, bye Ni" I smiled and hung up the phone, deciding to just suck it up and head to science. I shoved my phone in my pocket only to be greeted by Louis.

"C'mon lover boy, we have science to get too" He smiled and I nodded.

I know it's not that fabulous but I felt that maybe I should give you guys a lil update.

I have decided to keep using Zayn because I mean he's still a person and their friend so..
