February 1st

I looked at myself in the mirror. My blonde hair was styled up neatly and I was clad with a pair of black skinny jeans, a white tee and one of Harry's flannels, which surprisingly really suited me. I smiled softly when Harry's reflection came into view. His long curly hair was pulled back into a bun and he was wore his usual skinny jeans, the ones that I believe are far too tight for him and some patterned shirt that he claims 'is in fashion'. You can't deny though, Harry makes anything look good.

"I love you" He mumbled, resting his chin on my shoulder before gently nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck.

"I love you too" I smiled at the reflection of the two of us in the mirror and if I do say so myself, we looked pretty gosh darn cute.

His warm breath hit my neck as he spoke, "you smell good"

I chuckled quietly, "thank you Harold"

"No, but like honestly Niall you always smell good and it's a real turn on" He muttered, running his hands up and down my sides making me squirm slightly from the sensation it was making me feel.

"We should probably head off soon, yeah?" I asked, pulling away from Harry's grasp.

He sighed, placing his hands in his pockets as he rocked back and forth on his feet. "You know Niall, one day we are going to have to consider or even talk about having sex"

"I know Harry, it's just.." I ran a hand through my hair, sighing quietly "I'm just not ready."

"I understand that Niall but how much time do you need? Because I'm not going to be here much longer and I don't want to have to leave this world without having sex with you" He spoke calmly.

"So, for you to be somewhat happy when your time ends you need to have sex with me?" I frowned, my eyebrows scrunching together slightly, "You wouldn't be happy with just knowing that I loved you very much?"

"Of course I'd be happy Niall" He sighed, taking both my hands in his. "I just want to be the one who makes love to you for the first time. Because I'm not going to be here forever and one day you'll move on and you'll find someone else who makes you just as happy as you are now and helps you to forget about me. You'll fall in love again and eventually you'll make love to that person and that'll hurt because if I'm the one who takes your virginity there will always be that part of you and I that no one else could ever take away"

He took a deep breath before continuing, "I would never use you Niall nor would I ever plan too and If I do die before you and I have sex than I'll still be just as happy and grateful that I had you and your love in my final days"

A single tear rolled down his cheek, "I love you Niall, always have and always will"

"I love you Harry" I replied, leaning up to gently kiss his lips, mumbling quietly "always have and always will"

"Oh my, look at the gorgeous couple" Anne gushed as she greeted both Harry and I with hugs.

"Happy Birthday my love" She smiled, kissing Harry's cheek. "You boys are both on time, everyone else is already gathered in the living room. I'm just going to grab some more snacks but please feel free to make your way in"

"Sure" Harry smiled, beginning to walk to the living room. "You coming?" He asked, looking over his shoulder at me who hadn't moved from where we had first been.

"Yeah, I'll catch up. I'm just going to go see if your mum needs any help" I smiled and he nodded, a cheeky grin on his face.

"Okay love" I watched as he walked away before quickly ducking into the kitchen.

Anne looked up at me, giving me a knowing smile.

"Everything in place?" I asked, looking around at all the hard work Anne had put in to help me pull off the best birthday for Harry.

"Just about" She smiled, carefully icing a batch of fresh cupcakes"He is really going to love this Niall, trust me"

"I really do hope so" I mumbled, fiddling with my fingers nervously as I made my way over to Anne. Looking down at the cake which was chocolate mud cake and for the icing we had it specially done so that there were photos of Harry scattered about as collage from when he was little and from him now. Anne had put a photo of Harry and I right in the middle and it did look very cute.

"Are you two ready?" I was brought back from my train of thought when Louis voice came from behind us. "Harry's wondering what is taking so long"

"Yeah, we are" Anne smiled, handing me the small box with Harry's present that I had gotten him.

"Then let's get this show on the road" Louis grinned as he skipped, yes skipped, back to the other room.

The wind whipped against my cheeks as Harry and I stood side by side on the back deck staring into the dark sky.

"Thank you Niall" He whispered, "thank you for everything"

"It's the least I can do Harry" I smiled softly, placing my hand on top of his which had been resting on the railing.

"It's so beautiful" He smiled, leaning against my arm. "I hate the thought that one day I won't be here anymore to simply watch the stars with you"

I sighed quietly, caressing my thumb gently across the top of his hand. "Stop thinking like that Harry"

"I'm sorry, it's hard sometimes" He mumbled, breathing out deeply.

"I still have to give you your present" I smiled, trying to lighten the mood.

"Oh yeah" He grinned back, "do we want to do that now?"

"I think so" I smiled, reaching into my pocket and pulling out the small and neatly wrapped box. "Happy birthday Harold"

I watched as he carefully and very gently opened it, throwing the wrapping paper to the floor, most likely in hope his mum would come along and pick it up for him later. He carefully reached into the box before pulling out the bracelet I had gotten for him.

"Wow..Niall this is...wow" He gushed, sliding it onto his his wrist. "It's beautiful"

I smiled, "read the inside"

He carefully spun the bracelet around his wrist so he could read the engraving, "to infinity"\

"and beyond." I smiled, showing him my matching bracelet.

"I love you Niall" He grinned as he grabbed me by the waist gently and spun me around.

"I love you too Harry."
