 Januray 5th

I tried to keep myself distracted from thinking about Harry. I decided if he didn't care about me enough to let me know what the hell is going on than I am not going to put in the effort anymore. Most days I sat in my room, listening to music or playing my guitar but today mum decided I needed to get out of my room.

"Ew Theo!" I chuckled as he mushed his mashed banana through my hair.

"Sorry uncle Ni!" He gigled, clearly not sorry at all.

"It's alright bud" I chuckled and placed him down onto the floor where he continued to colour on the sheet of paper I had given him.

It was my turn to do the babysitting since mum decided it was her turn to enjoy her day at the spa with some friend, well the ladies from her book club.  At first I thought she was joking but it turns out she wasn't and I actually had to babysit Theo whilst she went to the spa. I didn't mind of course. I loved spending time with Theo but I still just didn't have the emotional energy to do anything.

"Uncy Ni" I was taken out of my thoughts by Theo, his bright eyes looking up into mine.

"Yes bud?" I smiled softly, still trying to get the banana out of my hair.

"Go play outside?" He asked, giving me the puppy dog eyes, even though I would've said yes anyway.

"Sure buddy"  I smiled and helped him to put on some shoes.

Theo loved playing outside. He could be running around and around in circles giggling and he'd still find it the most entertaining thing in the world. Maybe one day I could have kids of my own. Just imagine little blonde, well maybe not blonde since I am technically brunette, Niall's running around the house. Maybe little Harry's too if he decided he wanted to even acknowledge my presence.

"Be careful bud!" I called out as he ran around, his arms spread out as he pretended to plane.

"I am!" He called back.

"Brrr" He hummed, trying to make the sounds of a plane.

Chuckling, I pulled out my phone almost instinctively going onto facebook. Faccebook was technically where Harry and I first met when he didn't even know who I was but when we did get to know each other it didn't take long before I guess we both started to develop the feelings for each other.

I looked over to Theo who was now sitting on the grass carefully picking at the flowers happily.

Childhood...so simple...so easy.

"Uncy Ni?" Theo spoke from below me.

"Oh hey bud, what's up?" I smiled and picked him up.

He giggled and brushed some of my hair out of my eyes.

"Can we go watch movie?" His small voice spoke and I couldn't help but say of course.

Soon Theo and I were curled up on the couch, his head resting on my lap as I ran my fingers through his hair gently. He had decided on wanting to watch Toy Stroy even if he had already seen it that many times Greg and I had lost count.

"Buzz light year to the rescue!" Theo giggled, trying his best to copy the character on the screen.

"Good try bud" I chuckled and ruffled his hair.

Theo watched happily but also very quietly as he held his teddy bear, Mr Rodgers , very close to him. I had got him the Teddy bear awhile back and now Greg tells me he can't even sleep with out him.

It was almost at the end of the movie when I noticed Theo's eyelids start to droop and before eventually falling asleep on my lap, soft snores leaving his lips asleep on my lap. I ran my fingers through his hair gently and sighed quietly. My mind automatically starting to think of Harry.

Maybe I was too harsh on him...maybe he was really sick or maybe he just needed some space for some reason. I don't remember actually doing anything wrong but knowing me I probably did. I just missed him a lot.

My thoughts were distracted by the front doorbell ringing. I carefully moved Theo to the side seeing as the last thing I needed was him to wake up and be in a devilish mood. He stirred slightly before he curled up on the couch as he held onto his teddy bear continuing to sleep peacefully.

I started making my way to the door but was soon interrupted by a sharp shooting pain in my foot. Wincing, I looked down and noticed the small yellow lego piece under my foot. I shook my head, trying to shake off the pain and eventually opened the door.

And there he finally was.

Harry Styles himself.

Dressed in baggy tracksuits and a hoodie, his curls a ruffled mess.

Harry looked up at me with sad, tired eyes. A few curls falling onto his forehead messily.

"Niall" He spoke quietly "There's something I should probably tell you"
