February 6th
"Tag! You're it!" Theo giggled as he tapped his hand against Harry's leg before turning and running as fast as his little legs could take him in the opposite direction.
His hair blew around in the wind as continued to giggled loudly as he ran weaving in and out throughout the people in his best attempt to get away from Harry who was chasing after him.
"Oh no!" Harry gasped dramatically before pretending to fall over only a little bit behind Theo. Theo giggled loudly making his way over to Harry and poked out his tongue at him.
"You're a bit clumsy" Theo giggled.
Harry held a hand to his heart, pretending to be hurt by what the little boy had said to him.
"Aw no!" Theo gasped quickly, throwing his arms around Harry. "I'm sorry Uncle Harry"
"It's okay Theo" Harry chuckled softly, hugging the small boy back.
I smiled brightly at the two who were quite happy with keeping each other entertained. Theo absolutely adored Harry and wouldn't rather spend his time with anyone else but him. It was quite cute if you asked me.
I looked around the backyard at all the people who had gathered here for a family lunch. There was honestly about thirty people scattered about the yard and that wasn't even my whole family.
I had invited Harry along so I wouldn't be alone and he happily agreed to come as soon as I told him Theo was going to be there.
"He's actually quite quick" Harry chuckled, seating himself down next to me.
"Oh really? Or are you just getting old?" I smirked, winking.
He gasped, holding a hand to his heart "Niall, how could you be so mean?"
"It's in my nature baby" I winked, leaning over to press a gentle kiss to his cheek.
"Theo is such a gem" He smiled softly, "so much like a smaller version of you. It's actually adorable. You're gonna have the cutest kids"
I watched as his expression turned slightly sadder than it had been as his head tilted to look at the ground.
"Hey" I spoke, taking his hand in mine and giving it a squeeze "You're still here and you're not going anywhere. We are going to have the cutest kids ever"
His smile brightened slightly, "we are, aren't we?"
"That we are" I chuckled.
"I like the name Niall" He smirked, leaning back on the grass.
I pulled a disgusted face at him, "Harry we are not naming our kid Niall"
"Aw, why not" He pouted.
"Because, no." He huffed and crossed his arms over his chest, "and plus babe we aren't even gonna have kids anytime soon" I laughed lightly.
"I know but it's just fun choosing names" He shrugged, smiling softly at me "What names do you like?"
I shrugged, "I dunno"
I was guessing from this conversation that Harry had thought a lot more about having children then I did. He even thinks about names, something I never even considered.
"Oh, alright" He smiled slightly. "I'm kind of hungry, I'll be back"
He stood up after giving me a soft kiss on the cheek before disappearing into the crowd of people to find something to eat.
I sighed quietly. I really hoped I hadn't offended him.

After everyone had left Harry had decided to leave as well. He wanted to spend some time with Anne and Gemma before Gemma left to go travelling again.
He promised he wasn't upset at me and kissed me goodnight before heading home. I knew he was genuine when he said he wasn't upset.
It was almost 10:30pm now and everyone else was in bed apart from me who found out that all 3 of The Back to The Future movies were on tonight and I couldn't miss it for anything.
I was halfway through the second movie when my phone began to buzz on the coffee table in front of me. Scrambling around on the couch to find the remote, I finally found it and pressed pause on the TV. Before picking up my phone and the name flashing on the screen surprised me.
"Hello" I answered.
"Niall, oh gosh, I didn't think you were actually going to pick up?"
"Why wouldn't I?" I asked confused.
"Because the last time we spoke, it felt as if you weren't going to talk to me again any time soon"
"Well, that's not true" I shifted on the couch.
They sighed through the phone, "Niall, I need to see you."
"When?"
"Well, funny story I'm actually on you're front porch" They mumbled.
"Oh okay, I guess I'll be right out" I sighed, hanging up the phone and making my way to the front door.
I pulled on my slippers and my hoodie before checking myself over once in the mirror before running my fingers through my hair and pushing it upwards. I took a deep breath before opening the door.
"Hi Louis"
"Niall" He breathed out, looking me up and down.
"You wanted to speak?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I miss you. I miss our friendship Ni. I know I fucked things up but you were honestly like my best friend and all I've been thinking about these past couple of days is how much I miss my best friend and how much I really want him back in my life because Niall I really miss having someone I trust more than anyone else. I miss our conversations and the way I could throw my arm around you protectively in a friendship kind of way and I know I fucked thi-"
"Louis" I mumbled causing him to shut up, "I miss you too"
"You do?" He asked looking up from the floor, his eyes filled with hope.
I smiled softly at the boy, "of course I missed you"
"Oh wow! Niall!" He threw his arms around me, practically tackling me into a hug.
I laughed, wrapping my arms back around him "I missed you too Lou, I missed you too"
I nuzzled my face in his neck as he held me close to him. He rocked us back and forth slightly at a calming pace and this was all I had really needed lately, just a moment of calmness. No fighting, no crying, no worrying just calm.
It was just me, him and the moon.
Oooo see what I did there *wink wink*
