Niall

I felt shy and completely out of place. I mean looks wise I guess I kind of did look as if I was mean't to be here, thanks to Laura of course. But besides that I did not fit in. All the boys here were like Harry, naturally good looking and confident and the girls, whilst most of them were dressed inappropriately, they still fit in more then I did.

"I'm just gonna get us some drinks, you right here?" Harry whispered in my ear so I was able to hear him over the loud music. I only nodded in response, knowing that there was no real point in trying to reply a simple yes.

Harry gave my hand a slight squeeze before he disappeared into the crowd leaving me to stand in the corner by myself. I tapped my foot along to the beat slightly. I loved music, it was actually a passion of mine to sing and play some guitar, not that I was any good at it..I was actually really shit. My mum always said if I had a dream, I should chase it but I don't know there's nothing really to chase for I guess.

It had been a few minutes since Harry had left and I was starting to think he had forgotten about me for someone better. He could definitely do better, he could have anyone he wanted without even trying.

And well I'm a nobody.

"Niall right?" I looked up from the ground to the girl standing in front of me. She had pretty long blonde, wavy hair and she was one of the few dressed appropriately.

"Uh yeah" I nodded shyly.

"I'm Abigail" She smiled widely "I'm friends with Harry"

"Oh" I replied quietly.

"He talks about you a lot, so I thought it was my responsibility to come over here and introduce myself" She was so confident...I loved it.

"Oh really?" I smiled genuinely.

"Aw! You're adorable" She pretended to pinch my cheeks before taking one of my hands. "Come meet the rest of the gang!"

Before I could protest and tell her that I was a very socially awkward person, I found myself being dragged over to a small group of people, laughing and having a few drinks.

"Guys! Look who it is! Niall Horan in the flesh!" Abigail announced as they all turned their heads to look in our direction.

"Wow Niall, nice to finally meet you mate" A short boy with brunette feathered hair smiled politely at me.

"Nice to meet you too, um-"

"The names Louis, Louis Tomlinson" He grinned. He was beautiful. He had this smile that could light up anyone's day and his eyes were beautiful. But no one compared to Harry.

"I'm Nia-"

"No need for introductions, Harry has told us all about you" Louis winked, emphasizing on the you. It made me feel very self-conscious.

"Oh" I blushed softly.

"Are you going to join us Niall?" A new voice came from a boy with jet black hair that had also been styled into a quiff.

"Join you?" I furrowed my eyebrows confused.

"Yeah, in a game of truth or dare" He shrugged simply.

I hated truth or dare with a burning passion. It was a game people played and thought it was the best thing ever. That and spin the bottle. Spin the bottle was even worse.

"I guess" I mumbled and took a seat on the floor next to Abigail.

"Great" Louis clasped his hands together "Shall we start then?" Everyone nodded their heads in response.

"Oh! Oh!" Abigail raised her hand in excitement "Me first!"

"Alright" Louis chuckled, smiling at her. I wonder if there was something going on between them.

"Niall truth or dare?" Abigail asked, smirking slightly.

"Dare" I shrugged simply. I hated truth's, no reason I just did.

"I dare y-" Abigail started but was cut off when my hand was taken and I had been pulled to my feet.

"Sorry guys but I'm stealing him away" I smiled at Harry's familiar voice.

"It's alright just don't have too much fun" Louis giggled, sending Harry a wink and once again that stupid little blush made its way onto my cheeks.

"Whatever lou" Harry chuckled as he pulled me away quickly from the group, our fingers laced togehter.

Harry and I sat on the edge of the treehouse we had found out the back of whoevers house this is. It was quite relaxing just sitting there and watching the stars with Harry.

"Your friends are nice" I said quietly, swinging my legs back and forth.

"They're a bit of a handful" Harry chuckled quietly to himself.

"Why are you doing this?" I mumbled.

"Doing what?" He asked, confusion clear in his voice.

"Hanging out with me, like out of the blue you just started hanging out with me"

"Oh" He sat with his eyebrows furrowed, looking straight ahead.

"Yeah" I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly.

"Well I guess it's just I like talking to you because when I am, I feel that for at least a few minutes or hours or days I can forget about the whole 'popular' boy charade and I can just be myself" He spoke simply, flashing me a cheeky grin.

Harry Styles genuinely liked hanging out with me and I genuinely liked him.
