Niall
Come monday Laura still wasn't talking to me and by the friday she was actually keeping up with her little 'im just going to ignore Niall and pretend he doesn't exist for the rest of my life' game. I didn't really care it just gave me more time to concentrate on my studies especially at this time of the year when we would be graduating in a few weeks and for most of us get ready for university.
Harry had actually talked to me on facebook again, it was on wednesday night. I had come home from work at the local supermarket, tired as hell when I got a notification from facebook letting me know Harry had messaged me once again. My heart might of skipped a beat when I read the simple message. Even though we didn't talk about much and he would occasionally ask for help with the homework questions for English, he still was the one to message me first. I felt like the young school girl in movies who always has a crush on the popular, hot and surprisingly nice guy which they end up having some sort of romantic connection.
In my case though I had this feeling Harry was just using me for my brains or was just trying to be nice to me for not knowing who I was originally. Either way he was still talking to me and thats the only thing I've been wanting more than life itself for the past two years.
"Okay, I can't do this anymore" Laura sighed as she sat down in the seat beside me at the round table in the corner of the library. I shifted my eyes from the book in front of me to her, a small smile tugging at the corner of my lips.
"Can't do what anymore?" I asked, clearly playing dumb. She rolled her eyes and pulled out one of her work books from her bag, dumping it on the table.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about" She replied. "Its too hard not talking to you"
"I know" I pretend to flick my non-existent long hair.
'Harry has long hair' I thought. I constantly found myself thinking about him, its like it was a natural instinct of mine to constantly think about him. I found myself thinking about him all the time that I was zoning out in classes to think about how utterly perfect he was. His perfect brown, curly hair and his green eyes that lit up when he smiled that cute little dimply smile.
"Niall hello?" I shook my head slightly snapping myself out of my daydream only to find that my forehead was stinging slightly.
"Did you hit me?" I asked frowning, rubbing where the pain was.
"Yes I did" She rolled her eyes "I've been talking to you for five minutes whilst you have just sat there drooling on your papers"
"Oh, sorry" I blushed suddenly feeling embarrassed.
"Don't tell me you were thinking about Harry again" She shook her head, smirking lightly.
"Maybe" I looked down, tapping my pencil on the table.
After a few moments of silence between us both, well besides the noise coming from me tapping the table with my pencil.
"Speak of the devil" She muttered, looking over in the direction of the front door which was now occupied by Harry and a few of his friends.
Harry lead the group to a table a few down from us, sitting down with all of them following his lead. I picked up the book in front of me and put my head down slightly, trying to hide away.
"Dude what are you doing?" Laura raised an eyebrow from behind her glasses.
"Um hiding away from the world" I replied as if it was obvious.
"You mean hiding away from Harry Styles?" She smirked slightly.
"No!" I replied, rather loudly as I slammed my book on the table. Almost everyone in the room turned around to us. I felt the familiar blush starting to creep onto my cheeks as a few people snickered and turned back to what they were doing whilst others just shrugged it off and ignored the situation. My eyes fell on Harry who was looking in my direction, a smirk present on his face. Holy fuck balls he was perfect. I felt myself blushing more as I quickly turned away asking Laura quietly if we could leave, she happily agreed and we made our way out of the library.
"He was so checking you out!" She whisper-yelled as soon as we were in a safe distance from where Harry was.
"What-" I frowned "No he wasn't"
"Are you delusional? He was definitely checking you out!" She exclaimed, doing weird hand movements in the progress.
"Oh yeah I'm sure" Sarcasm basically rolling off my tongue as I spoke.
"Bloody hell Nia-" But before she could finish she was cut off by someone else calling my name.
We both turned around to find Harry standing before us. He looked flawless in his ripped skinny jeans, plain white t-shirt with a red flannel shirt thrown over it and a snapback which held back most of his loose curls.
"Hey Niall" He smiled, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Oh, Hi Harry" I smiled in return. "How are you?"
"Good Good" He replied quickly, smiling slightly. "I actually came over here to ask if you wanted to hang out tonight maybe?"
"Oh" I looked to Laura who was smiling excitedly at me, nodding her head multiple times "Sure, I guess"
"Awesome" He smiled, looking somewhat relieved?
"What are we gonna do?" I asked quietly.
"I was just thinking we could just hang out at my house, get a few pizzas, play some video games and what not" He shrugged simply.
"Sounds like a plan" I smiled.
"Well I guess I'll see you tonight?" He smiled, a cute, little dimply smile.
"Yeah I guess you will" I smiled and turned around to Laura as we parted ways.
