She wasn't sure she heard him right, why didn't her dad mention this to any of them?. She was going crazy and she didn't know how to react to the news but Morris continued.

"What he understood was very little than what he didn't. Josie couldn't take your soul unless you offered it to her so her initial plan was to torture you by killing everyone you loved until you had no choice than to give it to her." He paused for a moment as if to let what he had said sink in her mind before continuing. "But since your father has willingly given his to her, Josie now owns your father."

"Owns him?, How?"

"She can take control over his body anytime she pleases, making him do her bidding, and she's forever in his mind, corrupting his thoughts."

"So what can I do to save my dad?" Alexa was close to tears at this point and she couldn't hide it.

"Your options aren't much. Get her to give up your father's soul for yours....or kill her."

She sat in her room, thinking about what Morris told her. His last words replayed over and over in her brain, threatening to drive her mad.

"Josie has tied herself to you so killing her would be difficult, and if you aren't careful, you'd lose your life too."

She didn't know what she was supposed to do, she couldn't tell anyone because she didn't want any of them to worry more than it was necessary.

Deciding that worrying wasn't going to solve anything, she got her jacket and headed to the station to see Morris. She was going to end this now, no matter what happens. She couldn't let innocent people die because of one woman's greed.

Luckily for her, Gale wasn't at the station when she arrived. He had left earlier to attend to an emergency call.

She sat patiently waiting for Morris to be brought in, when he saw her, he smiled slightly. "You're back."

"How do I end this?"

"I don't know." He said simply and didn't look at her.

"What do you mean?, You told me you knew how to stop her."

"Do you think I'm going to betray my mistress?, I am forever loyal to Josie no matter what she does."

"What??" Morris's strange behavior confused Alexa. The last time they spoke, he told her he knew how she could stop Josie, and he said he'd be willing to help her."Please Mr Morris."

"I told you I will help you on the condition that you guarantee my freedom." Morris could sense desperation in Alexa's voice and he was determined to use it to his benefit.

"I told you that wasn't up to me." She was starting to get frustrated.

"Then there's nothing I can do to help you. I'll be going back to my cell now."

"Wait!," He paused but didn't sit back down. "if I can guarantee you your freedom, then will you help me?"

"You have my word."

Alexa considered his words for a moment before she slowly replied. "I promise you that I'll protect you and make sure you leave this place-" he smiled and sat in front of her"-if I'm able to end all this."

He frowned for a brief moment looking directly at her. "very well."

"Hey dad, can we talk?" She stood by the doorframe and waited for him to respond.
