    Its been a week since they found out that Alexa was in coma and she might not wake up. Their dad was discharged two days ago and since then he had been focused on making their mom happy. Chris and Dave were in charge of answering the cops whenever they needed their attention.

Recently, a woman was arrested for trying to break into their old house. When she was being questioned, she said Josie asked her to do it. "She said she left something that belonged to her in the house and it was really important to her."

"What thing are we talking about here?"

"She wouldn't tell me. She just told me to check in the attic, that I'd find it in a black box."

"Take her away."

"Yes sir."

"Oh and get me officer gale."

"Yes sir."

(Later)

"You called for me sir?"

"Yes. You're the officer handling the Hathaway's case, right?"

"Yes sir."

"Good. I want you and your partner to go to the Hathaway's residence. That woman claims that Josie's belonging is in the attic, in a black box. I'd like you to retrieve it."

"Okay. Right away sir."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Did you find it?"
"Yes sir. Just as she said, a black box in the attic."
"Did you open it?"
"No sir. It's locked."
"Well, how do we get what's inside?!!" His face became red with rage.
"Well sir, I've called for one of the Hathaway siblings and he should be here soon. He might know something about it."
"Good. Bring him to my office when he gets here."
"Yes sir."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Is something wrong?" David asked as he got to officer Gale's office.

"Not really. Remember the woman that was arrested for trying to break into your apartment?"

"Yeah?"

"She said to check in your attic for a black box that Josie supposedly left there."

"Yeah, and...?"

"We did, and we found it."

"I still don't see what this has to do me."

"Well, the box was locked so I wanted to know if...."

"If I had the keys to Josie's box?"

"Well, something like that."

"I don't have it. I mean, how would I?"

"True, my boss would still like to see you though."

"Okay then, Lead the way."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Sir."
"Come in."
"Yes sir. Sir, this is David."
"Nice to meet you. I've heard about the tragedies your family has been facing and I can assure you that the perpetrators would be put to justice."
"Thank you sir."
"Now, I presume officer gale here has told you about the black box."
"Yes sir, but I'm afraid I know nothing about it. But, I might know something that could help."
