For a long time, Jungkook had been suspicious of his uncle's dealings, there were a lot of things that didn't make sense to him. But right now staring at these documents Jungkook was even more confused than before.
"What the hell is all of this supposed to mean?" Jungkook asked looking over the pictures and files that Miran had brought to him.
"I didn't know Ezekiel did trades back in Russia." Atlas said, he too like Jungkook was both confused and surprised.
"Neither did I. We've always known that Ezekiel has wanted to make his drug trade go globally, he also wants to be at the top of the enterprise, I just didn't know he had already started making moves to ensure that it happened." Miran explained.
"About three weeks ago he came to me with the idea of making Sleet go global, I told him that if he brought it to the table and convinced the other Dons I'd support him and get Nikolai in line as well." Jungkook informed them.
It had been three weeks since Ezekiel had come to him with that idea, three weeks since Autumn had returned to Russia, and Jungkook hadn't heard a word from or about her. The thought was disturbing not knowing how she was doing and what she was doing, Jungkook had gotten used to seeing her every day and watching her every movement and emotion that the sudden change left him reeling.
But this was a good thing, now that Autumn was gone he could focus on ruining Ezekiel, and once Jungkook had settled the score with his uncle he'd go back for her. When that time comes not even Nikolai and the whole of Russia would keep him away from her.
"That whole idea of his is completely unrealistic." Atlas said with a shake of his head.
"Maybe but if he has Nikolai behind him it's not completely impossible. If Nikolai gives a go on it then the other Dons will follow behind." Jungkook said and they nodded along in agreement. "But here's the thing, Ezekiel wants to be at the top with me and Yu-Jin, there's no way in hell Nikolai will play underboss to the likes of him."
"Exactly, Nikolai will never agree to be second place and if Ezekiel wants to be at the top then he'll have to be the new head of the Conclave." Atlas said.
"And that means war amongst the Dons because there's no way Nikolai will stand for it." Miran said as well and this whole thing felt as if they were just going in circles.
"What I want to know is how, when and who Ezekiel started trading with in Russia. Something about this just doesn't feel right?" Jungkook asked looking at the two men but unfortunately, there were no answers waiting for him there.
A knock sounded at the door and after Jungkook gave permission to enter the door opened and Evelyn walked in. Taking off her glasses Evelyn winked at all three men before walking across the room and taking a seat on the couch; she had her hair in a bun as if she had just woken up, had on a pair of booted heels with a black leather jacket.
"What sort of trouble are you three trying to get in?" Evelyn asked with a smile sitting sideways so she had a perfect view of all three men.
"The kind that you wouldn't be interested in." Jungkook answered.
"You're trouble itself on its own I think I'd be down for anything." Evelyn said with a smirk as she sent another wink his way and Jungkook just gave a small shake of his head.
"Why are you here sweetheart?" Atlas asked with a smile making Evelyn release a dramatic sigh.
"I'm on my way to Russia with guns and men in arms, Nikolai called for extra support." Evelyn announced and all three men straightened in their seats.
"You're going to Russia?" Jungkook asked the sound of his voice incredulous, and Evelyn gave a nod.
"The rebellion has hit a whole new level, Don. Whoever it is that's trying to take Petrov's throne is coming in hot and the fucker is not backing down." Evelyn said and all Jungkook could think about was Autumn.
