The sound of several footsteps shuffling from one point to another along with the safety being clicked off several guns echoed in the warehouse and the familiarity of it all made Jungkook feel somewhat centered and normal. Last night was a strange experience for Jungkook and he wasn't sure how to proceed forward.

When he had woken up this morning Autumn was wrapped around him safely tucked underneath his chin as he held her close to his chest. He laid back allowing himself the pleasure to really look at Autumn, her face was a light brown riddled with freckles, she had the cutest button nose and her lips were pink and full.

Jungkook found himself focusing on her slightly parted lips as she slept and before he knew what he was doing Jungkook was leaning down towards her lips his eyes drifting shut. He got close enough to the point that he could feel the breath coming out of her parted lips but then he stopped suddenly realizing what he was doing, his eyes snapped open and he pulled back from her.

At a complete loss of words and disbelief, Jungkook carefully detangled himself from Autumn and made sure she was carefully laid out on the couch before standing to his feet. When he turned Esther was standing there watching him and the older woman had a look on her face along with a smile. Not wanting to answer any of her questions or entertain any of her ideas Jungkook quickly walked past her and went up to his room.

After he had showered and gotten dressed Jungkook had come back downstairs but Autumn was no longer on the couch, he was grateful that he didn't have to see her yet and quickly left the house with Thomas. Now they were at the warehouse and Jungkook watched his men as they looked over their new shipment of guns.

Jungkook had to give it to the IRAs, they knew their weapons and only dealt with the good stuff which meant good business for Jungkook and his men. Several crates lined the room in the warehouse most of them already packaged and ready to be sold off to their individual buyers, whatever remained he would figure out on his own.

As they sealed off another crate Thomas walked towards them with a look on his face that Jungkook couldn't read.

"What is it?" Jungkook asked as soon as Thomas was in front of him, Thomas pulled Jungkook off to the side away from the other men before he spoke.

"Nikolai's on, he wants to talk to you." Thomas said in a serious tone and Jungkook wondered what the Russian Mob boss wanted from him this time. Lightly tapping Thomas's shoulder Jungkook nodded in understanding before leaving him behind to handle the rest of the crates while he walked over to the office they had made for him in the warehouse and locked the door.

Thomas had left the laptop open and when Jungkook took his seat behind the desk he was greeted with the sight of Nikolai Petrov on the other side of the screen a glass of whiskey in hand.

"Don Petrov, what can I do for you?" Jungkook asked getting straight to the point, if there was one thing he knew about the Russian Mob boss it's that Nikolai Petrov doesn't like to beat around the bush.

"How's business going, I hear the IRA just sent in a new shipment?" Nikolai asked from the other side taking a sip of his whiskey.

"It's as good as it can get with this economy." Jungkook said lightly with a shrug and Nikolai gave a short bark of laughter.

"We are the economy boy, if we want the business to yield then it will." Nikolai said and Jungkook had to agree on that one. "I know you have your own set of dealers but I need you to make an exception for me." Nikolai continued finally getting to the point and Jungkook sat up in his chair.

"What can I do for you?" Jungkook asked.

"I'm going to need some of the ammunition the IRA sent, I'll pay the price just like the others, but I need it sent as quickly as possible. There's a little war growing on the turf of the Turkish empire and our men need to be armed." Nikolai said in explanation a frown taking over his face and it was clear that the Russian Mob boss was not happy about the situation.

"Of course Don, I'll have them delivered as soon as possible." Jungkook assured and Nikolai nodded in appreciation.

"Good but that's not why I wanted to speak with you." The other man said and Jungkook titled his head in confusion. "I need you to deliver the next batch of Children of the Conclave." Nikolai ordered and Jungkook physically stiffened in his seats.

Children of the Conclave were children raised by the Conclave, basically Nicolai, into soldiers to fight wars and do the bidding of the Conclave. All of the children that the Conclave trained were stolen, unwanted, and abandoned, once the Conclave deemed them worthy to be soldiers, Nikolai would get rid of any trace they left in the world.

They had no name, no identity, no prints that the FBI or anyone could track, the Children of the Conclave were nonexistent, the perfect weapon to use and easily disposable if they were ever caught because no one would ever know who they were or where they came from.

"Excuse me?" Jungkook asked taken aback by Nikolai's orders.

"There's been a bit of a change in the hierarchy and until I have that sorted out I need you to handle the transportation of the children, they've already been selected and are ready for shipment. This cannot be delayed and there's no one else I trust to handle this but you." Nikolai said.

From the moment Jungkook had become Don of the Chicago Mafia empire, he had noticed that Nikolai had taken a sort of preference to him. Maybe it was because Nikolai and his father had been good friends back in the day but the Russian Mob boss had been somewhat instrumental in helping Jungkook grow his father's empire and for that Jungkook was grateful to him.

"I'll take care of it." Jungkook said with assurance and that was all that Nikolai needed to hear, with a strong nod from him the call was ended and Jungkook slumped back into his chair with a sigh.

"What did he want?" Thomas's voice bounced inside the room as Jungkook heard the door open and shut.

"He wants us to carry out the shipment of the children." Jungkook said running a hand through his blond hair.

"The children?" Thomas asked in confusion but then a second later his eyes widened in realization and he looked down in surprise at Jungkook. "You mean the conclave's army?" He asked just to make sure and Jungkook nodded.

"JK, that Russian bastard has never let anyone handle those children before, so why now and why us?" Thomas asked taking a seat on the other side of the table.

"I don't know and I honestly don't care, he gave us the job and we're going to do it." Jungkook said. "Not a single hair on any of those children will be touched and not a god damn thing is going to happen to them until they get to Russia."

"You got it." Thomas assured him knowing very well that Nikolai would literally obliterate them all from the world if anything were to happen to those children. They sat in silence for a moment until Jungkook's phone ringing pierced through the silence and he looked down to see a restricted number calling him. Curious Jungkook picked up the phone and answered the call.

"Mr. Herondale." Yu Jin's voice came through the other line and Jungkook straightened locking eyes with Thomas that arched a brow in question. "Have you been outside today? It's the perfect weather to go outside and take a walk, would you like to join me?"

"Of course." Jungkook replied and he could hear her small laugh over the line.

"Perfect, I'll see you then." She said and then the line was cut off.

"That was Yu Jin, she wants to meet." Jungkook explained answering Thomas's silent question as he stood to his feet.

"You're going, on your own?" Thomas asked and Jungkook nodded sliding on his jacket. "We never walk alone JK, you know that." Thomas reprimanded and Jungkook smiled.

"Make sure she doesn't see you." Jungkook said agreeing for him to tag along, there was no way Thomas would let him go out on his own. As they made to leave the office a thought suddenly occurred to Jungkook and he paused in his tracks making Thomas stop along with him.

"Something wrong?" Thomas asked.

"You go ahead, I'll meet you outside." Jungkook said and Thomas nodded patting his back before leaving the office. Reaching for his phone Jungkook dialed a number, listening as the phone rang while that thought continued to spin around in his head.

"Boss?" Derek's voice came through on the second ring and Jungkook released a heavy breath.

"Derek I need you to look into something for me."
