It's bright and early in the morning, I wake up to see Cole isn't in bed and the house is oddly quiet. Usually, when I would wake up in his house there'd be some form of noise either coming from the bathroom, the living room, or the kitchen. I scoot out of bed and get dressed up before I proceed to the living room. I do my morning routine in the bathroom and now I walk to the living room.

I find a little note on the table and pick it up. I read what it says "Good morning baby, if you are awake and wondering where I am; I was called by my boss to get down to work as he wants me to finish my PowerPoint presentation for Monday, I won't be long. If you are hungry, I made waffles that are chilling in the fridge waiting for you to gobble them up. I love you, Cole" I smile at his note and place it back down on the coffee table. I hear my phone buzz in my pocket as I head to the kitchen and check the caller ID, why is Marshall calling me again? I answer the call "Yes" I jump straight to the point without saying good morning to him

"Yo, I just wanted to apologize about last night" I chuckle as I pull the waffles out of the fridge "An apology from you? Never thought I'd see the day where the big bad rapper apologizes" I put the plate of three waffles in the microwave "Just take the fucking apology, I don't go around being a pussy often" Marshall sounds annoyed and I sigh "Fine, I'll take your apology" I nod "Thank you, quick question though" Marshall says "What's up?" I ask him "You going to Naomi's birthday party?" He asks me "Yes I am" I nod "Didn't think you'd agree since I'm gonna be there" Marshall chuckles "Marshall, I'm going there for my niece, to celebrate her 7th birthday" I say "I am too" Marshall says "So how about we stay away from each other at the party because I don't feel like ruining her birthday because we can't get along" I suggest "Love that idea" Marshall laughs

"I'm gonna go now since I'm about to eat breakfast" I tell Marshall as I place my plate of waffles on the table and sit down "What are you having?" He asks me "Waffles" I tell him "Choke on it, bitch" Marshall laughs and I grow silent, like really silent, I can't believe how rude he can be even in the morning "Amanda" I guess he expects me to laugh at what he said. I hang up the phone and erase his number.

Marshalls POV:

She fucking hung up on me, no bitch dares to hang up on me the way she did because they'd be worried I'd fucking ruin them but Amanda just straight up pressed "End Call" button. Is she trying to brew up a fucking storm? because let me tell you they don't call me Angry Blonde for no reason and they certainly don't call me controversial for no reason. When her ass gets back in Detroit I'm gonna be cold as ice to that bitch.

Kim, Hailie, and Alaina are at Kim's mom's house for a few hours and I'm home alone. I get up from my seat and exit my home studio, I walk to my room, I grab a box full of pictures with my friends and family, I still need to buy another photo album to put these away. I sit down on the bed laying the box on my lap and take off the lid, I smile when I see the first picture of me and Deshaun when we were crazy 17-year-olds rap battling each other, Todd had taken the picture in my room, you can clearly see my expression I was taking the battle seriously and Deshaun was trying hard to not burst out laughing.

I put the picture away and pick up the picture of me, mom, and Todd at my 12th birthday. I was blowing out the candles on my birthday cake, I hadn't invited my friends over since mom had only wanted to celebrate it with Todd and also because we were going through financial struggles so we didn't have much food in the fridge to feed more than 4 party guests so it was only us three. I had a small birthday cake that finished within a day.

I see a picture of Amanda and I from her graduation, as you can see in the picture I'm kissing her cheek, holding her so tightly, she has the biggest smile on her face. The picture was taken on the field after she claimed her diploma. Her mom had taken the picture, I remember that day like it was yesterday. Funny, how much time has passed and I still love her like hell and at that time I thought me and her would be together forever.
