(Alpha Rascal's Point of View)

I dropped her off at the pack hospital, waiting in the waiting room. There was something off about her blood. I couldn't shake it. It smelled like regular blood with a slight hint of sunflowers. It was weird.

"Alpha, you need to see something." It was Dr. Amelia. I stood up and walked with her. We walked into the girl being treated. "Now Alpha. We are sewing up her wounds and as I was starting to was the blood off of her, I noticed something." She took a small, wet sponge and wiped some blood away to reveal blue, purple, green, and yellow. Bruises in variation of healing. She was beaten. She was running from something other than the rogues.

"Alpha, we are giving her pain medication, but I don't know when she will wake up." I nodded and sat down, watching then clean and patch her up. It took them hours.

Once they finished and put her in a gown. I went to inspect her. She didn't have a lot of normal skin. A lot of her skin was bruised with some gashes here and there. She was also incredibly thin, as if she hadn't eaten in quite a while. I don't know why, but this made me quite angry. I've seen women and children beaten until death before, so why did seeing this woman make me feel so different?

(Beta Luke's Point of View)

I watched over the unknown girl, we refer to her as Eve. It's been days since we found her and she still lies in the hospital, unconscious.

I heard her move and my eyes went from my book to her. She winced and her eyes fluttered open. It was a moment of piece before the chaos ensued.

'Eve is awake.'

(Alpha Rascal's Point of View)

I walk into the hospital and here my beta struggling on his words.

I walk into Eve's room and I see Luke attempting to get her to lay back down. She wasn't speaking, but hyperventilating. Luke noticed my presence and looked at me with concerned eyes. I walked in and then she looked at me. Her bright blue eyes. I knew.

"Mine."
