(Esther's Point of View)

I was being restrained still as I watched the horror unfold in front of me.

I've lost so much blood, but I had to stay conscious and make sure Ras made it out alive.

They both shifted and lunged at each other. My father kept going for Ras's legs but Ras kept dodging the attacks. He was waiting for a window.

My father got his face. He was bleeding from the claw marks, but he didn't seem fazed. I watched as my father made a dumb move, opening his neck for attack; and Ras took it.

He leaped and latched onto his neck, shaking and ripping.

He pulled away, ripping out a good portion of meat from his neck.

My father landed with a loud thud. His head hitting the ground so hard that it bounced.

His neck was spirting blood and when I looked at Ras, he still had the meat in his mouth, as he dropped it, I saw the muscle, then I saw what was left of his larynx and his carotid artery.

He was dead.

My father was dead.

I couldn't believe it.

Ras won.

He shifted back into his human form.

My father's attempt at his face missed his eye, it would leave a scar, but it wouldn't interfere with his life.

He ran over to me and as he was running, the guys holding me, ran away. I fell over and as soon as reached me, he removed the cloth that was preventing me from talking. He quickly took off all the ropes and smiled.

"I told you that I'd get you, No one threatens my Baby Girl's life."
