Chapter 21

(Esther's Point of View)

I woke up with Rascal gone. 

Something felt off however. 

My mouth was covered with a hand and it went dark again.

I woke up to being tied to a chair. I began to struggle but it was no use.

'Rascal!'

I felt him wince. 

'Esther? What's wrong? Do you need help?'

'Ras, I don't know where I am, I'm tied to a chair in an empty room.'

'Esther, baby. I'll find you. I love you.'

(Rascal's Point of View)

I went to my bedroom, I found a struggle, the bed was a mess and scratches everywhere. 

I quickly assembled a team to find her. 

As I was briefing them, I felt a burning pain on my neck.

It took me a minute to make sense of the pain.

It was my mark.

Whoever it was, was torturing Esther.

(Alpha Cohen's Point of View)

I finally got the bitch. 

Finally i'll get my moneys worth.

That stupid alpha thought he could threaten me?!

Fuck no.

(Esther's Point of View)

I had to talk to Ras one more time before they injected me. 

'Ras! It's Alpha Cohen! He's going to inject me with wolfsbane. I'm sorry. I love you.'

(Rascal's Point of View)

I fucking knew it was that SOB.

It was time to get her back.

(Esther's Point of View)

It's been days since I last mind linked Ras. I miss him so much. They've been injecting me with wolfsbane every few hours. 

Every time they inject me, I feel the burning through my veins, with that and the beatings, I've been in and out of consciousness.

(Nate's Point of View)

We are close. Everyday I suffer from not only being away from Esther, but I feel her pain. She's being tortured.

We finally got a location and were on our way.

There was an abandoned looking house on the edge of Alpha Cohen's land. 

We stormed it.

It was full of blood.

It was all Esther's.

I was seeing red. Her scent was faint, meaning she was moved. 

But the blood loss.

They had to be cutting her frequently. 

I saw a note by some of the blood and read it.

I have moved her obviously so you have a little time to think about it.

I was livid, but I was also at a loss. I didn't want Esther to be in anymore pain. But it's my title. But also without her, i'm nothing. If I lose her, I'll be a shell of a man.
