"Does anyone have a phone?"

Everyone was searching the desks and drawers. On-jo looked at me. "Do you still have your phone?"

I shook my head. "No. Ms. Park took it away."

Zombies banged against the sliding doors. Joon-yeong and Gyeong-su kept it in place.

"Here, I found one!" I-sak yelled in triumph.

We gathered around her except for the two door boys.

"Whose is it?" Na-yeon asked.

"This is Yeong-ju's desk." I said. I've seen her a couple of times, but we weren't friends. Just classmates.

I-sak swiped on the phone, making it buzz. "Shit, it's locked."

Na-yeon hit her arm. "Do something!"

I pinched my wrist in order to stop myself from killing the complaining girl. I wasn't very fond of Na-yeon. "What do you want her to do? It's locked."

"Maybe it's her birthday." On-jo suggested.

"When is that?"

"I don't know."

I pursed my lips. "Well shit. It's nice knowing you...some of you."

"Stop being dramatic. She's over there. Give it." Cheong-san pointed toward the window on the door. The zombified Yeong-ju was snarling with some of her buddies.

He walked over to her and placed the phone in front of her.

I sarcastically smiled. "Oh yeah, that'll work. Are you fucking stupid?"

"It's worth a shot, dipshit!" Cheong-san said back.

"You have to get closer." Su-hyeok told him.

The boy was about to walk closer before On-jo stood up. "For emergency calls, you don't have to do that. Just call 112."

Cheong-san did as On-jo said and dialed the emergency. "Hello? This is Hyosan High School. A ton of zombies showed up at lunch and are eating people."

I facepalmed. There was no way they'd believe that shit. "Don't say zombies." I stepped in.

"Try to make it seem like it's not a prank." On-jo also said.

"Did you happen to see the movie 'Train to Busan'?" Cheong-san asked the operator. It seemed like the other line didn't seem to think we were serious, because the next line Cheong-san said was. "This isn't a joke!"

The boy groaned as the phone hung up and I let a frustrated sigh.

Everything left my mind when I heard a scream. Everyone turned, including the zombies who were running in that direction, away from the classroom.

"Woah, what's going on?"

"Where are they going?" Gyeong-su opened the door to look out.

Su pulled him back. "What are you doing, moron? Close it."

"Okay, okay! Fine!" He turned to Cheong-san. "Did the police believe you? What if they think it's a prank and they won't come?"

Na-yeon gulped. "Well then try again! And tell them to hurry up!"

I get that she's scared but with that attitude, I look at my knife and back at her. I mean, nobody likes her right? It wouldn't hurt if I just insert this in her throat. Then again we're in a fucking zombie apocalypse.
