y/n y/l/nI-sak stood in between On-jo and I. I think she was the most terrified compared to us. I don't blame her.
We stood, our eyes watching as the whole world began to change. We watched as the whole field of zombies ran toward a normal student. I-sak gasped and turned her head on my shoulder as they began biting the poor boy.
"Holy shit." She whispered, on the verge of tears.
I turn my body and wrap her in my arms, rubbing her back. "Hey, I-sak it's okay."
On-jo soon followed in my footsteps. My heart dropped when I reached her hand. It was extremely cold.
On-jo seemed to notice too. The brunette let go and took her hand, "I-sak....why is your hand so cold?"
"Huh?"
On-jo pressed I-sak's palm on her cheek. "It's really..."
We froze when blood started pouring out from her nose. "I-sak..." i started to say as the girl frantically wiped the blood from her nose.
"What's wrong? Are you—" I didn't get to finish when the girl started panicking.
"Really—I wasn't bitten. I mean it! I really wasn't bitten."
The students started murmuring, looking our way. Na-yeon stood up. "What's going on? Did you get bitten?"
"I said I wasn't!" I-sak yelled at her. She ran to the mirror.
My eyes widened at her appearance. She was paler then usual, her eyes we're beginning to look blood-shot, and blood smeared and rolled off her nose.
That is not a sight I'd wanna see when I look at myself.
The girl in front of the mirror touched her face before slowly walking toward us. I stayed in my spot. I knew if I backed up, it would hurt the girl and I couldn't do that knowing she's hurt.
"I-sak...." On-jo whispered. A pool of tears formed in her eyes as she attempt to hug her friend, only for her to pull away.
"I'm not. I'm not one of them." She denied.
Even though me and I-sak weren't as close, I still thought and looked at her as a friend. I just couldn't possibly imagine how On-jo would feel.
I don't know how I would've felt if I had to lose On-jo or Cheong-san—believe it or not. The brunette successfully gave I-sak a hug.
"What are you doing?! Get out of here!" Na-yeon demanded.
I-sak pulled away from On-jo and looked at everyone else. "No. I told you I'm not one! Come on," she begged, "I'm alright!"
I tried to pull On-jo away but the girl kept trying to wriggle out of my grip.
"On-jo?" I-sak called out. However, she fell onto her knees and collapsed right after, face first.
"Hurry up, do something!"
The lying girl began to bend and twist, the sound of bones crunching grossed me out yet satisfying—a little.
"Hurry up she's turning into a zombie!"
All of a sudden, she stopped. The room was silent. I was confused. I moved a little closer but stopped when I-sak slowly rose, her eyes boring into mine.
"Oh, fuck me."
I-sak charged at me. I dodged pushing her onto a table.
"Y/n stop!" On-jo cried.
