When I woke up, Wu-jin was talking about a way out.

"...I really think that that's the only way out" He says.

Mi-jin quickly shakes her head.  "No. It drops into that basement on that side, and there are exposed steel bars. No way we can jump."

Ha-ri nods to her left side.  "That side faces the school, so there's no point trying it."

I was lost and confused.

I rub my eyes and let them continue talking about a way out.

I look to the side to see how far we've gone and I gotta say, I'm hella fucking proud.

Soon, we'll get out and everything will be okay. I watch a bird fly overhead.

Man I'm jealous.

"Then we should just wait for now," Mi-jin says.

"And then what?" Ha-ri asks.

I tilt my head at Cheong-san who noticed my confusion. "They're trying to find a way out, but there's zombies everywhere."

"Maybe if it rains again, they won't be able to hear us."

"Who knows when it's gonna rain?"

"Don't worry" Mi-jin says and sits down more comfortably. "It'll rain soon, you'll see,"

Then she looks up at the sky, closing her eyes as if waiting for the rain to come. I look up to see the clear blue sky with nothing but fluffy clouds.

"It's way too clear," Dae-su says.

I feel Nam-ra tugging on my sleeve. She had a bandage around her head, covering one of her eyes, that she had put on when Mi-jin and Ha-ri returned.

"Hear that?" She asks

"What?" I ask her.

She turns her head to me. "They're saying to take cover."

"They? Who's they??"

She stays silent, probably listening.  Then she turns to me and the others in a panic. "We need to take cover. There will be explosions"

My hand slides into Cheong-san's in instinct. He let's me, signalling me he was there by slightly squeezing my hand and caressing it with his thumb.

"What do you mean, explosions?" Hyo-ryeong asks.

"Are you sure about that?" Su-hyeok turns to her.

"We're fucked," I mumbled.

Nam-ra furrows her eyebrows again.  "Hyosan Intersection, Future College..."  Her eyes widened.  "And our school will be blown up."

I honestly didn't care much for our school since it was the first to hit with the zombie disease, but it's the fact they're blowing my whole town and city.

Why aren't they sending people to look for survivors?? Why had no-one saved us??

I tried to close up the noise and focus on something new. I tried to convince myself that Nam-ra probably heard wrong, but it's no use.

It'd make sense they'd blow it.

It just hurts to know that it's the truth.

"Is the army going to launch missiles at us?" Wu-jin asked.

"When?" Dae-su piped in.
