Chapter 6

^3rd Person POV^

Time flies by, when Lumine slowly got back on track to go back to school. "Lumine! Missed you!" Venti ran towards Lumine and hugged her tight. "I-Oh yea !! I'm glad I get to see you too!" Lumine tries to escape Venti's right hug but I guess she couldn't. Aether laughed. "He told me everyday 'hOw Is luMinE? iS sHe AlRigHt?'" Lumine chuckled. "Hey! That's not how I acted!" Venti crossed his arms. The twins giggled.

Suddenly Hu Tao tapped slightly on Aether's shoulder. "Hehe~ hello Aether!" Aether jumped scared around. "O-Oh! Hu Tao! What brings you here?" Aether said nervous, knowing what will happen next. "Well.. since your sister is back.. oh you're sister is cute by the way! Hello Aether's sister! Hehe.." Lumine slightly blushed (not ship) "a-ah! Thank you!" Lumine stuttered. Hu Tao giggled. "Any ways Aether..." Hu Tao waited for Aether to say smt. But Aether was just standing there, not knowing what to say and pretends he doesn't know. Hu Tao tilted her head. "Anything you forgot?" Aether was sweating from the inside. He hate to admit it, but with Venti was such much more fun than with his other friends. "Uh. N-no..?" Aether replied. Hu Tao and Venti Face palmed. "How could you forget?" Hu Tao was a little disappointed. "Since you're sister is back, you're returning to us!" Hu Tao looked sad. "Didn't you promise?" Aether just stood there. He didn't want to go back. Not if Xiao left him back there. "Oh! I'm sorry Hu Tao! I will return to you guys for now. Oh! And Lumine.." Aether slowly walked with Hu Tao to Albedo, Ganyu and Xiao. "Ayaka misses you! You should go and see her!" Aether shouted. Lumine nodded then ran with Venti inside the school. "Hello Aether! Welcome back! We really missed you!" Albedo hugged Aether. "Ah! I missed you too!" He hugged back. "We all watched you from behind what you were doing!" Ganyu mumbled. They all laughed (except for emo Xiao duh)

The rest of the school day was all normal. Aether ignored Xiao as the other week before, played with Venti on the hydro bombs and fixing it, and so other stuff you have to do in school.

After school, Hu Tao decided on something. "How about we all hangout today?" She suggested. "Since we don't really have much in common. We will do spend our time all this time, and have a sleepover at Aether's house!" Hu Tao confirmed. "What?! Why mine?" Aether doesn't really like people entering his house. Especially when there's people he doesn't really know. "Awh come on Aether! I want to see you house so bad!" Aether turned around and crossed his arms. "Pleaseee..? I promise you I will invite you for dinner within a week!" Ganyu promised. "Besides.. I will invite you into a rich restaurant! My family is rich anyway so it won't be a big problem." Ganyu got onto her knees. "Pwease..?"

Aether sighed. "Alright fine.. But don't go to Paimon's room please! She feels anxious around new people!" Aether warned them. "IF. You enter Paimon's room, this is the last time you see the sunlight." The three nodded frightened. "Alright! See you all at 3PM!" The 3 friends left home immediately then there is just Xiao and Aether awkwardly standing there.

Until Aether said "bye." He was about to leave, but Xiao stopped him and held his hand. Aether was looking surprised at his grabbed hand. "Wait." Xiao stuttered. "A-about the situation we're i lied-" he was about to continue but Aether angrily snatched his hand away from Xiao. "I don't want another word with the situation. Neither do I want to talk to you." He groaned walked away. Xiao ran towards him without Aether knowing and hugged him from behind. Aether then stopped and turned flustered. "W-What is that f-for..?" He stumbled. Xiao didn't answer. It took him a little while to speak while hugging Aether. "I'm.." Xiao felt it hard to say the 2 words. He made a fist and said "I-I'm.. sorry." Aether giggled. "Oh sorry. What was that?" He started teasing Xiao again, like back before. Xiao wasn't stupid and noticed it. "Fuck you." He released the hug and showed Aether the finger (😳)

Aether laughed. "I'm kiddinggg!" Aether hugged him back but tighter. "I forgive you. But only once! I'm not giving you another chance!" He played with Xiao's hair playfully. Then the old days have returned. But..

Differently

^Xiao's POV^

Aether has already tripped for the 4th time already. Was he this clumsy? Every time he tripped he said "sorry, my bad." His personality has changed randomly into a shy guy. Like at the start of his first day in Teyvat- High school. Then I noticed that he has said before :

".... i usually don't talk this much.. only when I move to new schools you know? Cause I want to know everything about my friends and this nice school!"

Hmm.. no wonder why . But why at this situation??
Me and Aether split ways while I was thinking about it. When I came home, I saw my father, also a teacher at my school Zhongli preparing me almond tofu. (Oh yea and I know at chapter 1 Zhongli was at a locker 😭 but teachers have lockers in there too okay?!) "welcome home Xiao. Want some? I just made fresh." Zhongli handed me a plate of Almond Tofu. I grabbed it without any expression and sat down on a table. While I was eating, he talked about his day, how Fatui kid was annoying the hell out of him. "I swear to him he can never stop talking and approaching to me." Zhongli place his hand on his forehead. I noticed a strange pattern. "Hey dad.. I think we have a lot in common.." I scratched my head. "Oh? Is that's so. How come?" He questioned. "Well.." I started.
"You have someone, who annoys you everyday. I have someone also to annoy me everyday. You don't run into them, I don't run into them. They do things without your permission, THEY do things without my permission." Zhongli laughed and patted my head. "Oh Xiao.. of course we have a lot in common don't we?" I smiled from the inside but didn't express anything from outside. "Besides, we have the same DNA?" I chuckled a little. I'm glad I can be a little myself with my father all the time. "If you don't mind, what is his name dear child?" Zhongli raised an eyebrow slowly. "Oh him.." I thought of the bright sunshine. "He is like a sunshine." I dreamed. "He is quite annoying, but in 3 weeks, his personality completely changes." I looked up on the roof and imagined how he would be in such a shy personality for the rest of his lives. I sighed. How come suddenly I want him to be with me for the entire life. With none else. Just him. A-And my father of course! "He is a bright sunshine? I see.." Zhongli rubbed his chin. "Is it perhaps Aether (surname) ?" I snapped back in reality. "Wha.." I twitched. My father laughed. "Do not worry Xiao. You know I'm good at keeping secrets. And also. I wouldn't expose my son's crush hm?" I sighed in relief. "Father, I'm glad to have a dad like you." I continued eating my tofu.
