Steve chased me out the house and to the park. I hid behind a tree so that way he couldn't find me. I was really tired from running.

"Where are you!?!?! Amber?!!!!? I'm going home!!!!" Steve yelled. I could heard the guys laughing. Even johnny. Aww he's so cute when he laughs. Then Steve left the park and started walking back to the Curtis house.

Thank god he's gone, now I can walk home in peace! I'm a block away from the curtis house, and a blue mustang follows me. "HEY GREASER!" they yelled, I turn around. They look at me with scared expressions. "Y-your the girl that beat up Randy!" The guy who was driving said. He had blonde hair and green eyes with white tannish skin, but now they were all as white as a ghost when they saw me. "Yeah and I'll hurt you the same way I hurt them if u don't get goin' or I'll skin ya alive!" I yelled at them. I started walkin' to their car and pulled out a switch blade, closer and closer I walked towards their car. They started go get worried. "DONT JUST STARE AT HER! DRIVE! RUN! DO SOMETHIN'!!!" the guy in the passengers seat yelled at the driver. The driver stepped on the gas and sped away.

"Ha! Wusses! You can't even fight a girl!" I yelled at them as they drove away. "That was pretty damn impressive for a girl!" I turned to see the gang staring at me in shock. "I told y'all she'd be fine on her own. Shes a tough one." Pobyboy said. "Ha you've got that right" Darry said.

I laughed & said "Well I'm tired from yelling. Someone carry me!" I closed my eyes and put my arms out so someone could carry me. "Ugh such a baby" Dally said and walked towards me so he could pick me up. "Who's carrin' me?" I asked with my eyes still closed. " Take a guess honey." I opened my eyes to see Dally carrin' me bridal style.

"Ugh I was hopein' for Ponyboy or Johnny." I said as I crossed my arms shoot did I say that out loud? "Well its a good thing they didn't. You weight a ton for a short girl! Those poor boys couldn't lift ya up an inch from the ground." Dally said he sort of laughed... I just stared at him. His cold dark brown eyes, he had long hair but no grease in it. He looked like he had a few soft spots. I just gotta see what they were.

We got home and as soon as we got in the whole gang 'oooh' and 'aaawww' but I didn't care. I could see Johnny look ablittle mad, same with ponyboy. But Dally just smiled, he winked at them. Dally carried me to Darrys room. He lay'd me down on the bed and got on top of me.

"I like you" Dally said as he leaned in for a kiss. WTF A KISS!!!! No way he's gettin' that from me. I pushed him away and said "I'm sorry Dal, but you've got to try harder than that." I pushed him off of me, he landed on the floor, shocked and stunned I bet.

Well I Amber Ruby Bright never kiss a guy on the first date, or even the first time I see him. Its only been a day and theres no way I'd let him kiss me. I don't even know if I like him or not, so how could he like me? I was thinkin' about all of these things while I walked out the door.

"Hey where'd you and Dally run off to?" Soda said as I walked into the room. "He tried to kiss me, but I pushed him away and walked out of the room leavin' him there stunned and shocked." I replied sittin' down on the couch by Soda and Two-Bit. "What! I knew he'd try something like this! I'm gonna have a talk with him!" Darrys yelled pounding his fist on the table. "Darry, Dally didn't hurt me. He just tried to kiss me but he didn't and I'm fine. Plus he can't force me into kissin him, I'm too strong for him." I said. He hugged me, again with the hugging! "Okay I just don't want him to give you some kind of mouth infection." I laughed and hugged him back.

I woke up, Darry was out of the bed and left me a note on the dresser sayin' "Hey Amber, don't be scared if you're home alone. PonyBoy and Johnny went to the movies, Dally went to who knows where, Steve, Soda and I went to work, and Two-Bit is somewhere at one of club the clubs boozed up. I'll be home around 5:30 or so. So you can either go somewhere with the boys or do something else. Just be careful, alright?
