You awoke to the sounds of chains and Leon's voice. Your head was pounding, your limbs felt swollen, and you swore your hunger would tear right through your stomach.

"Hey!"

"Hey, wake up!" Leon whisper yelled. You look up to see Leon tied to the man from earlier. You've been restrained to the wall as they sat in the middle of the floor.

"Ah crawl out of one hole and into another." The man chided with a thick accent.

"You wanna tell us what the hells going on here?" You spoke up, completely annoyed with the way things have been going. Downhill.

Avoiding the original question, the man answers, "Americano si? What brings you to this part of the world?" Leon pulled on the bindings to tighten them on the man's side for dodging the question.

The man slightly panicked at the sudden tightness, "hey, easy, whoever you two are."

"I'm F/n and that's Leon, good enough introduction for you?" You've had it at this point.

With whatever length of the rope Leon had, he used it to pull the picture of Ashley out from his back pocket. "We're looking for this girl, you seen her?"

The man smirked, "what are you some type of cop or something?" Pausing in thought, "Nah you don't look the type."

"Look, if you  know something about her, just spill." You pushed, trying to seem frightening while tied to a wooden post on the wall.

"I assume she's the president's daughter, no?"

Leon scoffed, "too good for a guess, wanna start explaining?"

"Psychic powers." He answers before chuckling. "I'm just kidding with you amigo, I overheard some of the villagers talking something about the president's daughter in the church." He spoke simply.

A small pause floated through the air before Leon brought it all back to the ground, "and who might you be?"

The man smiled, "mi llamo Luis Sera, used to be a cop back in Madrid. Now I'm just a good-for-nothing guy who happens to be quite the ladies man." His head now facing you. "You are quite a beauty, señorita." You scoff before turning your head to the side, not wanting to make eye contact with him.

"Eyes on the prize, cowboy." You stated stern and serious, making eye contact with Leon. Why is he smirking?

"Feisty, this one." Luis chuckled.

"So," Leon begins, "why'd you quit?"

Luis sighs, "policia.. you put your life on the line. Nobody really appreciates you enough for it." His eyes closed, "being a hero isn't what is cracked up to be anymore."

Leon looked in front of him, reminiscing, "I used to be a cop myself, only for a day though. His eyes cast downward. "Somehow I managed to get involved with the incident in Raccoon City. My first day on the force."

"That is the incident with the viral outbreak, right?"

You listened to him speak about his horrible memory. You remembered Claire filling you in when you lived with her. She said they fought together to survive, but you always remembered what Claire said..
