Take Me Back pt. 3

-1997

It'd been two years since the incident you caused. Your feet softly kicked back and forth while hanging off the white sheets of your bed. After said incident, you'd expected punishment, but it never came. You'd assumed it was due to passing the test, though there were casualties. Your eyes ascended toward the little red light in the corner of your room. There were cameras, watching every move you made. It was something you'd unfortunately been used to, though the place you used to live didn't feel the need to use cameras.

"F/n," your eyes widened when Oswell stood on the other side of the glass that separated your room from the hallway. He raised his hand only to wave you over in his direction, you obeyed standing to your feet unsure due to barely ever seeing Spencer. He tends to stay far away from everyone else, and you couldn't quite understand why.

"F/n, this is Ada Wong. She's been working alongside my pharmaceutical company." He cleared his through while stepping aside to reveal a tall woman, short black hair, and distinctly wore the color red. It stuck out due to being surround by a constant stream of white.

"You'll be seeing more of Ms. Wong soon, F/n." The woman known as Ada began to move closer to the glass between you and her. She leaned down before speaking,

"It's nice to finally meet you F/n." Your thoughts spiraled, finally? You watched as her brows furrowed before she twists her head in Spencer's direction.

"Can she not speak?"

"She prefers not to, it's been that way for seven years." Your eyes met hers intensely in an attempt to covey something, but you weren't sure if she could pick up on it. You never chose to not speak, you were forced.

"I'll be seeing you, F/n." Her voice was sultry, and very feminine. You could feel the strength her aura didn't conceal. Before she could step away, the tip of your finger was placed against the glass, now pointing at what was hanging from her neck, and hid itself behind her coat.

She leans her head down and pulls the chain from her coat letting it shine against her chest. Your eyes widened seeing a sliver chain, holding onto a intricate crystal pendant. It's color was a blinding f/c you couldn't help but notice the way it reflected when light touched it in the right places.

"You like my necklace?" She inquired while placing her pendant back into her coat. You nodded slowly and she smirked.

"Goodbye for now." You could only watch as they stepped in tandem in the opposite direction to you. Once she'd disappeared, you plopped back onto your bed, back making contact with the mattress as you close your eyes.

It'd been months since you'd seen that woman again. What was her name? Ada, she hadn't come back in over two months. Though it was pretty normal for people here to disappear with no explanation. You'd assumed that's what would happen to you, but instead they just locked you in a new room and hadn't opened the door since then.

You swung your feet from the bed to the floor, standing and stretching before plopping back onto your bed, letting out a low yawn. Suddenly the room was blanketed in darkness and every noise was silent. The power had been shut off and this meant your door was no longer locked. Something was going on and thus made you stand to your feet.
