♤♡◇♧

You stand, leaning against the wall outside of Ashley's cell. The two of you had quit talking for a few minutes, letting the silence fill the air around you. That is until you heard footsteps, whoever it was they were running.

"Ashley stay where you are," you said nervously, latching onto your pistol as the steps grew louder and louder until-

"Leon, Jesus," you huffed out, letting go of your gun.

"Leon," Ashley stood behind you, watching as Leon pulled a card key from his pocket before swiping it causing the door to open.

"You okay?" Leon inquired before being pulled into a hug by Ashley.

"Yea," she seemed exhausted when she spoke.

"Let's go,"

You followed the two until you noticed a small paper plane floating down towards the ground. It seemed Leon had as well, leaning down and grabbing the little plane.

"It's a note from Ada," his words caused your eyes to widen before resting once again.

"There's a way outta here, this way." Leon motions ahead of him completely unaware of your frown. Ada had placed a kiss on the piece of paper, signaling to you that she felt a lot more for Leon than she would ever let on.

"Ada?" Ashley inquired, she hadn't the faintest idea who said woman was, and said woman hid in the shadows so much that Ashley would probably never know.

"A friend, she's helping us get out of here," Leon's eyes met your once he heard your words. You glared into his orbs, you hadn't shared anything incriminating. Your stomach sunk as your steps synced with Ashley's, you felt exhausted, all this going nonstop was causing your mood to plummet, bringing your features to a regular scowl.

Your scowl grew further as your steps moved closer towards an oder.
"Oh God that smell," you piped up, the reek of the scent grew louder and louder with each step.

"Looks like this is it," Leon leans his head over the edge, getting a good look. Ashley raises her hands to attempt and prevent the smell from traveling through her nose further.

"Ugh, it stinks." The blonde shakes her head in protest.

"It sure does," Leon responds, turning his head to you before smirking softly. Your eyes widen before he turns to look toward Ashley. Her features mimicking your own.

"No way, Leon," Ashley's voice was lost once you felt a pressure around you wrist.

He's gonna throw us down the waste chute.

"Way,"

"Aahh!"

CRASH

Your eyes open slowly to reveal a standing Leon, hand reaching out to you. You were dazed, seeing as you hadn't gotten the count of three.

"Are you out of your mind?" Ashley's voice was filled to the brim in aggravation. Leon helped you to your feet, leaning over to reach for Ashley, but the annoyed teen stood to her feet on her lonesome.

"I knew you'd be fine if you landed on your butt,"

"Leon," you spoke in protest, feeling a chuckle just around the corner.

"Come on, let's go." Leon spoke, encouraging you to hurry up.

There he stood; The man that caused this small catastrophe to begin with. His back was turned to the three of you as he held his long staff.
