"Come on, there's a door down there." You followed behind Leon, finally leaving the overly large statue of Salazar.
Conceited much? Your eyes glance to your right, eyeing the feet of said statue. It was a little much to be completely honest. The ground beneath your feet began to rumble causing you to stumble over, catching yourself from falling.
"Run!" Leon shouted. You began sprinting behind him. Turning your head you were horrified to see the statue had left it's place and began chasing you, seemingly not needing to move as quickly.
"Shit!" You sprinted ahead and past Leon once he opened the door at the end of the room, leading outside onto a bridge. Your feet headed towards the tower in front of you, not slowing down.
"Shit, jump!" He shouted once again, this causing you to jump and reach ahead as the ground crumbled and splashed into the waters below. Using the strength you had left, you latched onto the ledge you hung from and pulled yourself up, groaning at the abnormal use of certain muscles.
"You alright?" You were shocked to hear Leon's voice beside you as you leaned your hands on your knees, catching your breath. You began to nod slowly, taking in another breath before huffing it out to reply.
"Yeah totally fine," you leaned up, standing straight while you met his eyes. This causing you to smile, warmly.
"Just glad we both made it," you watched as Leon nodded in response, breaking eye contact to begin walking ahead. The tower doors being only a few feet away.
The both of you latch onto the door knobs, meeting eyes once again. "Ready?" Leon inquires softly. You grip the knob and nod once and begin turning it, opening the door to hear soft clapping.
"So nice that the both of you could join us." Salazar stood, hands clasping together, smirk painting his features.
"You again." Leon replied, he seemed to have had it up to here with this game.
"The sacred right that is about to begin at this tower shall endow the girl with magnificent power." Salazar began pacing the room, holding his arms out suggestively.
"She will join us, become one of us." You watched as he closed his eyes, seemingly happy and it disgusted you to your core.
"This is no ritual, it's terrorism." Leon stepped forward, words loud and stern. Salazar placed his hands behind his back, facing away from you.
"Isn't that a popular word these days- not to worry, we've prepared a special ritual for the two of you." Salazar began to lift his arm, but Leon wasn't falling through another floor and yanked his knife from its binds and threw it, the knife landing into the wall while cutting right through Salazar's raised hand.
"Tch,"
Salazar began to whine softly as he made eye constant with Leon's knife through his hand, nailing him to the wall. The knife was snatched from Salazars hand by the tall hooded creature that loomed beside him, throwing it back into Leon's direction, causing both of you to lean back in opposite directions.
"Stop!" Lean made a beeline for Salazar and the hooded figure only to stop in his tracks once a barred door closed, lifting Salazar and the figure. They were going to the top of the tower.
